It was wild how intensely my aim training exposed my poor sleep. Not that i was ignorant of the impacts before but being able to see my daily scores chabge depending on sleep was interesting
Fr bro. Sleep impacts every aspect of life. If you want to get better at anything, legit just sleep more. I’ve read a whole book about sleep and not enough people talk about how important a daily thing like sleep is. And I play 10x better when I slept well.
One thing that is interesting is that motorlearning (so improving aim) happens over sleep just like muscle building. i have done a lot research on motorlearning, especially hand-eye coordination and one thing that is crazy, is that just forcing your eyes to track/focus on enemies and looking directly at them, instead of your crosshair and using periferal vision can basicly *multiply* coordination improvements. this means that even someone who plays controller on an old playstation can improve their stick aim just by focusing their eyes on the enemie. this is also used for training real aim. for example hunters often close one eye when lining up a shot so they can focus and dont get distracted by the other eye. when their aim is directly on the target, they open both eyes to use their periferal vision without lokking away. its truly fascinating. also great video!
Playing a game that emphasizes the aim skill you want to improve is a fantastic tip. My tracking scores have gone bonkers since I started playing Overwatch
Thank you🙂 Honestly you will be surprised at just how good you will get! Self doubt is the worst cus you start believing that shit. I know if you keep grinding you will get there for sure👍
Congrats bro, im trying to get it too, personally i agree almost 100 percent with what you said. After 2 months with the voltaic routine, master seems really achievable, im currently on diamond and 3 jade scores but gm feels so far away right now , did you feel that too, at some point ??
Thanks mate🙂 I’d been playing kovaaks for a long time before I ever even attempted the benchmarks, by the time I got to it I was around Masters level. However getting from Masters to Gm complete was a massive challenge, especially trying to improve my weaker aim areas. So I do know what u mean about it seeming far away. Keep it simple and keep on playing. You will get there🙂
I believe Aimlab itself has a ranking system but the Voltaic group has made their own Ranks and scenarios within Aimlab that correlate to kovaaks. Joining the Voltaic discord server will have all the information on this🙂 Thanks for the kind words😊
Really helpful vid. Im wondering if you have any tips on meditation like you mentioned at the end. Ive tried a lot of breathing techniques and stuff to try to better my focus but none of it has really felt right. What kind of meditation did you do/ would recommend?
Glad I could be helpful🙂 I have to get myself into a relaxed state. I listen to 432hz or 528hz music with my eyes closed and try to deep nasal breathe. Sometimes I even just do it lying down. The more you can practice this the easier it will become to sink into that relaxation. Also, I have a pretty active mind so instead of just the typical mediation try get somewhat calm and then just think about hitting new high scores or practicing a scenario you are familiar with. Really picture it with ur minds eye. Sounds kinda cringe but I got into a pattern of doing this and my aim would feel warmed up just through thinking about it. There’s some interesting studies to back this up (not in aim training but in sport and playing instruments)
how do i get better at close fast strafes? that's the only scenario where i don't feel like i am improving. i only play CS and that literally is the bane of my existence 😂
@@r00tgod i am currently playing literally everything, but i have to force myself to play these reactive tracking stuff. the results ingame are undeniably there though. recently got 101:20 in DM and that was a number i wasnt able to crack for the last 4 years. i usually max out at around 80-90. so 10%-15% doesn't sound like much but in a min max game like CS it's worlds apart. i wish i had access to such aim trainers 20 years ago, when i was really pushing it.
What are your thoughts on VDIM? I love the routines, but am very busy and sometimes have to miss a day or two. Do you think it’s a bad idea to just do a few of the days like speed and precision switching if I want to get good aim in games like COD?
It varies, sometimes I’ll switch up quickly and other times I’m more stubborn and believe I’ll get it from grinding. It’s totally dependent on you and on what you think is the best course of action.
Thanks mate, glad you found it helpful🙂 I just listen to 432hz music, make myself feel sleepy almost through deep nasal breaths. Sometimes I picture kovaaks in my mind and getting new hs and stuff. Works pretty well for me

Good question, try a sensitivity that fits with the game you play. Here’s a picture showing sensitivity ranges for each game: twitter.com/voltaichq/status/1561917098745630720?s=46&t=nXO0_Au-oLsSr677e9gfqQ Hope this helped🙂
@@hc8655 Pretty much but remember those are just the typical ranges if you want to use something that’s not in that range that’s totally fine too. Also practice that sense on kovaaks🙂
Good question! I’ve been grinding click timing specifically Pasu Rasp Advanced from the benchmarks. I’ve seen significant improvement for ow2(Cassidy,Widow). However a specified playlist targeting the exact game aspects would be better than the benchmarks for in game performance
The game I’m playing in the video is The Finals, it was out for closed beta at the time but is no longer playable. It is realising soon though. Voltaic is an unrelated group about aim training. They have benchmarks that you can reach which indicate your aiming skill(to an extent)
You should be running benchmarks playlist like 2 days a week, you just don't reflect your actual rank if you are benchmarking same scenarios non stop for hours, you just learn the patterns not the art of aiming. You are fooling yourself and just score farming at that point trying to escape the ranks.
It was wild how intensely my aim training exposed my poor sleep. Not that i was ignorant of the impacts before but being able to see my daily scores chabge depending on sleep was interesting

I got halfway through this video convinced that you only had 3 fingers on your right hand, I was wondering how you lost your pinkie.

All these tips are legit except meditation. It’s complete placebo and calling it a “gigabuff” is incredibly misleading lol.
