@lilianempls I hope you have a great time with it! I did find it a bit overwhelming at first, so I'd definitely recommend playing without any of the major expansions (Venus Next, Colonies, and Turmoil) your first time through--but hey, you do you! I just released a second video to demonstrate the changes needed when including Prelude cards and when using a map other than Tharsis. All the changes are found during the Setup section; you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/R1fykvtMLN4/видео.html
Great timing! Saturday morning just brewed some coffee a buddy roasted, made my girls some pancakes & sitting down to eat & watch something & there is a new Table for One video. Solid start to this day! I went for Ares Expedition last year when getting into this hobby but have been curious to watch the big game, so thx!
@corey3145 Ooh, nice--we had waffles! TM was my own personal gateway game into the hobby. I have a ton of solo playthroughs up using the original solo mode (beat your own score-style with a max number of rounds restriction), but this is my first video with the new MarsBot Automa that simulates having an opponent. I very much recommend both solo modes!
@jerryf196 Thanks! I filmed a new Automa video on Monday using Prelude and a different map, and I'm editing it at this very moment--with a little luck it will be out tomorrow! Edit: Link - ruclips.net/video/R1fykvtMLN4/видео.html
@paulcooverjr.6947 Oof, yeah, 54 is painful! I can sure try to make a solo playthrough video against MarsBot on hard mode, but I can't promise I'll score any better than you. I think I do a decent job at explaining rules and demonstrating gameplay in action, but I'm not above losing on this channel and have done so many times! I'm more focused on enjoying the gameplay than efficiently min/maxing. I can generally give basic strategy advice, but not advanced. That being said, I recommend checking out @marsexpert4276 who, as his name implies, is a TM expert. A lot of good helpful content on his channel!
@minecraftinchocolate The player can choose to take one or two actions per turn, as normal (but in this playthrough I frequently chose to take only one at a time). MarsBot resolves one card per turn. Bonus cards have special instructions, but standard project cards may have more than one MarsBot action per card, because it’s one action per tag.
Thanks for this. The automa has been sitting on my shelf for a while now and your video gave me what I needed to give it a try. I loved it!

Thank you so much for this one. It helped me a lot 😊
@delphesconseil4363 Glad I could help! Now that you mention it, I think it’s about time for a new TM Automa solo playthrough video 🤔

Very good!
@ Thanks!
Très très intéressante partie. Vivement la suite !
@gilles_jobin Thank you; more to come!
Just got this. Played a few times. Can win on easy, but hard mode, try that one. Been crushed by 54 and 25. Can you do a hard mode video?

Is it not two actions per turn, both you and MarsBot?
