Salamat po Andy! From a fellow Filipino! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
In Cebuano: Daghang Salamat! 🇵🇭
In English: Thank you very much! 🇺🇸
In Croatian 🇭🇷😉 we say "hvala" (praise) and in informal or fast conversations "hv" merges to "f" "fala" or rarely "h" drops and then is left "vala". Some times it's added "puno/mnogo/čudo hvala" (many thanks) (čudo also miracle/wonder) or "velika/vela/velka/vilka hvala" (big thanks)
(different vowels also can be in different dialects)
When you are relieved from some kind of worries or praying then it's "Hvala Bogu" (Prise/Thanks God).
(different vowels also can be in different dialects)
There are obsolete or rarely used words like "blagodat" (gentle/mild/bless given) or "blagodarje" (gentle/mild/bless gift/given).
(different vowels also can be in different dialects)
And we use only for fun German "danke" and Italian "gracije" (grazie) because of long century influences from them, some times Spanish "gracijas" (gracias) and ofcourse mostly English "tenks" (thanks), "tnx", "tenkju" (thank you) because of international dominance 😉.
For example similar word to Russian "spasiba" is "spas" but it means (salvation from something) and "spasitelj" "spasiteĺ/spasitel/spasitej" (savior).
(different vowels also can be in different dialects) 😉
How do you say Thank you in your native language? :)
Obrigado 😊
In Palestinian Arabic it's - Shukran - شكرا.
Obrigado(man), Obrigada (Woman)
Tatar: Рәхмәт/Räxmät
Idk if I might say it, but grazie anyway 😅
I really love this videos of a word or a phrase in several different language, I would love to see more in the future. Thank you for your awesome job Andy~
We also say "Teşekkürler", "Sağ ol(un)", "Sağ olasın(ız)" in Turkish too.
@@subetewomieru Hungarian it's TESSÉK...said as teshayk
And mersi ?
Indonesian
Terimakasih
@@D0GGy333 In 60s, some say "Mersi" but that doesn't exist in dictionary. Just a trend to seem extra polished.
@@piroskaracz3621 I wonder do both have the same root? "teşekkür" is a loanword by the way but has Turkish pronunciation.
All languages are beautiful
You can say the Korean 感謝 (kám-siā) and the Vietnamese 感恩 (kám-un) in Taigi (Taiwanese) as well. Another frequently used one is 勞力 (lóo-la̍t)。It's be awesome if for Taiwan you also did Hakka and every single Indigenous language. Although I guess if you do the same for all the languages of the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia the video would be an hour long.
Let's not forget India and Russia too.
hmm with the trad Chinese characters.
고마워, 고마워요, 고맙습니다 (native Korean)
감사해요, 감사합니다 (Sino-Korean)
😊
In Sri Lanka we just say the English word Thang kiu. Some people even pronounce it as tsang kiu
Terima Kasih 😊

Ami.
Thank you, Xuan! :) Nice to see you here again!

Salamat and Selamat is from Salam (Arabic) and also gave birth to salamalaekum and salama and I’m pretty sure it’s related to shalom but pls correct me if I’m weong
Can you try doing the same in every African language that has more than a million speakers
In Persian🇮🇷
Read (a) like a in apple
Read(aa) like a in NATO
We have also, tashakor, sepaas, sepaasgozaaram, az shomaa motshakker hastam, daste shomaa dard nakoneh, lotf kardid, and...
The (a) in Anatolia is the same as the (a) in apple.
@@bletwort2920in english, the a in anatolia and apple are pronounced the same. in persian, there are two "a" vowels. â is pronounced like the english aw and korean eo and a is pronounced like the english a in cat.
