now with the editing and commentary saying not to go to IA to look up Disco Elysium because some ding-dong buffoon uploaded it, I have been hearing that this traffic going to IA for the sake of "not doing so" will unintentionally place a bullseye on IA for more legal issues in the future. A lot of online posts gain traction sharing about its existence but are deleted eventually... nothing against magically finding DE from somewhere but maybe let's not make IA a bigger target, they've been through enough 😓
I messed up the "remember your name" check and went a not insignificant amount of the game not knowing my own character's name. Stuff like this is why I love this game.
I was like "this doesn't have nearly enough views" then I realised the runtime was longer than the amount of time the video had been out. I will enjoy seeing this video grow, because damn does it deserve it
3:05:45 - duuuuude, this line made me cryyy! You phrased it SO SO well... So many emails, so many hours, so much DRUDGERY that we WOULDN'T be doing unless we were paid to... And still, and STILL, we have to stand in the grocery store bread aisle and feel inferior and afraid and longing for times gone by, when this bread DIDN'T cost as much of a percentage of our paycheck as it does now. And we wonder if it's OUR fault for not WORKING hard enough, but it's so obviously, OBVIOUSLY NOT, but we're also so stinkin powerless that not even keeping our heads down and doing everything RIGHT is enough to get us out of this self-hating spiral and that's why we have Kim. At least we have Kim.
I played Disco Elysium in 2023, and have thought about it every single day, since. Every single day. Something comes to mind that reminds me of the story, Harry, Kim, the sociopolitical situations, the history of Revachol, the pale, etc. This is truly the most remarkable piece of art I have ever engaged with. I find myself getting emotional to the point of tears when reflecting on certain elements of the story AND my own experience playing it. I'd call this one of, if not, THE most important game ever made. It changed me. And, if you're considering playing, it can change you too. Who knew games could change us so significantly.
What's crazy is this isn't glazing If I hadn't played the game and I saw your comment, I would have assumed your head was just so far up your own ass, but you're not even exaggerating. What's nice is the game gatekeeps itself from shitty fandom, but also it's such a hard sell it's such a hard game to recommend.
@@Maybe_Logic Disco Elysium is probably my favorite video game, but I think the novel (sacred And terrible air) is Even more entertaining. the book is actually quite hilarious, although you may not be laughing until your third or fourth read through
Have I ever played Disco Elysium? No. Am I going to stay here for 5 hours and listen to every single word this man is saying? Yes. I am. And you can’t stop me.

What a superb piece of work Jeff and team. I'm so happy to see how much you've developed. This was fascinating and touching and lit up my adhd brain! Thank you for all your hard work and I hope you get the recognition you so obviously deserve.
2:42:30 for what it's worth, the pale latitude compressor is almost exactly the OPPOSITE of how you explained it: in its intended use case, it is supposed to help with travel through the pale by trying to carve a sort of metaphysical 'path' through it using an intentional, directed stream of data as opposed to whatever is happening out there in the pale. used as un-intended, it's more or less a directed energy weapon doing something like blasting you with every possible radio station at once at max volume while gently microwaving your brain
Now imagine how powerful the "Ivory Keyed Radio Computer" that is given to Khan and Jesper is in the novel. Jesper's can make "Newspapers". It's why the ICP officer is so pissed off during a particular hospital scene
@ The scene with Jasper's "model" girlfriend, and him producing stacks of (seemingly 5 day old) "Newspapers" from a strange hole under his bed is when I started to actually understand the book. Jasper "plays his terrible (and seemingly pre-planned) trump card") Then, by the "music of the spheres" chapter, I think I have most of the big plot bits figured out (my wife and I each read the book like 4 times tho, helps to read the book to another person out loud)
@ I think Khan's "morning song" wrote the peaches of immortality into existence (creating the innocents, Charlotte even says what she would do with her Peach since Khan will NOT shut the fuck up about them)
@@lolwutinternet as you see m to be actually familiar with the Canon, any thoughts on Ziggy as he was listening to his "end of the World Mixtape"? Or really any other aspect of the story you think is particularly fruitful
This is one of the most emotionally resonant videos I’ve ever experienced on RUclips. I’m glad you made it, and I’m glad you consider it your best work because I agree and think you should be proud of what you’ve accomplished.
@ "The Insulindian Civil War was not the first war to see the use of hybrid airships on both sides, but it was the *coolest*. For an entire decade folded multi-rotor fighters got into dogfights above Revachol, Ozonne, Semenine, and the Arcade Islands, spitting death at one another. They flew over sandy beaches and shot each other out of the azure sky, crashing into city blocks and setting island forests ablaze. The Ace's Low was a custom among revolutionary brigades, performed after multiple kills. Lieutenant Kitsuragi seems fond of it… why?"
“I don't want to be this kind of animal anymore” resonates with me in much the same way that, "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes…or should I ?” like its a line from someone on the precipice of change that's unsure if they’ll be able to do it. Its the kind of thing that can bounce around in your head forever
This video having a 30 minute intro and a seemingly random anecdote in the middle that circles around later to become something so much more, feels very Disco Elysium appropriate. For me, I don' want to be this kind of animal anymore, puts the emphasis on *this* kind of animal. A want to change who you are so fundamentally as to become another kind of creature entirely, but feeling like it's impossible, you're always going to be an animal, always going to slip into your 'natural' behavior. The conversation with the phasmid made me legit sob. As you said in the video, the seeing and acknowledging you without trying to influence you either way, and something about her voice just made me actually listen instead of just hearing. (Also I failed the saving Kim check, and since Cuno doesn't have a camera you instead get to go to Lena's adress and talk to them. I like to imagine them sitting in a kitchen, drinking coffee, and talking about cryptids)
That story about the woman you met by chance was... raw but I felt a connection there. I haven't been in a situation as extreme, but certainly in similar ones. I would not have expected her to react negatively to you stating that you knew the person who did it. You talking about the people you used to know ending up in jail was still very fresh in my mind... Life is very much crazy like that. I guess that is what I love most about this game. The interactions of Harry's inner mind is amazing. The world is endearing. The characters are wonderful. But what I really love about this game are the details of human lives that you brush against everywhere. It makes the world feel alive and relatable. And, in a weird way, your videos do the same :)
This... this was a surreal experience, clicked on the video expecting a simple disco elysium recap. I got hit with a cinematic experience better than any movie i have seen in my whole life, the part where you spoke about frederick, when you spoke about having a long bath where you watch how the water warps in your arm, any part of this video is a masterpiece, i congratulate you, you certainly did not fail at all, you made an awesome piece of media i would consider even rewatching more than once. THANK YOU
All the way through this amazing video essay you've mentioned how many other people were only too happy to help you in your endeavour. Strangers that you reached out to that said yes to the use of assets, or even the creation of new assets for your use. You mention friends that you exist with, people that you love and who love you and that you spend time with. These don't sound like aspects of a failure to me. Love, kindness and the effort of communicating honestly with others of this complex species that we are, is the only meaningful measure of success. You bare your soul to the world in the hope that it will apply some salve to your pain, without perhaps realising that in doing so you are applying salve to others burning souls. You are changing people by expressing your love for things and you manage to do so with both eloquence and humour. I hope that at some point something you do feels like success to you. You are a wonderful, sensitive instrument.
THIS is communism in the word of Elysium. Maybe in the real world we can all decide to play a more "peaceful" game and stop warring with each other (not implying the Elysium Communists were peaceful, but they also failed)
of course a 5-hour jeffiot video on disco elysium has to come out right as im finally playing for the first time! about to be the fastest detective this side of revachol brb
i had to go back and watch chapter 6 because i didn't quite understand the first time, but now i'm crying in my room at 12.53pm on a saturday morning trying to clean lmfao what the hell are you doing to me jeffiot
Haha, he totally busted ya! The same thing happened with me as well, but unfortunately I'm crying at various times on a few occasions every single day. It just never stops, probably never will.... This video tho, right?! Hell yeah!
I’m also tired of failing. That’s why when I lose myself, when I think I’ve lost all that I am, I look back on a playlist called “things that are close to my heart”. I don’t have the answers of “how to not fail”, and I don’t think anyone does. All I know is that I’ve made some semblance of something I can come back to in order to show myself that I’m human, and now this wonderful video is there. Thank you

the dev's sure say so (this is not satire, the original devs, the creative masterminds behind this game, that was stolen from them, support you going to the high seas and getting this game that way)
When you hinted on stream yesterday your next video was going to be about Disco Elysium, I was thrilled, but I *did not* expect it to be a 5 hour long one. Today is a great day.
i always find it very admirable and incredible when someone shares something very personal and makes themself very vulnerable with this (mostly because i struggle deeply with this myself) and i think you have done this so so well in this video and really pushed the whole video with it, i enjoyed it a lot and will think about it for a while! also very well structured!
I once heard Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions describe publishing a large project like this as "tearing your heart out and submitting it for peer review." you passed the peer review ✅ You did a great job describing what makes this game so important to so many people, and most importantly, what makes it important to you. This is much more than just an overview of the game, and it's fantastic.
A truly disco experience. You have mastered the intense energy that runs through Disco Elysium and weaved it into this video. It has a rhythmic pulse that oscillates between melancholy and humor, the same pulse that beats within Disco Elysium. It oozes the same for lack of a better term 'vibes'. Good work has been done here. This is a great video.

I do not know you. I never heard about your content and came here strictly because of disco elysium. however, you have captured my attention trough sheer power of your words and presentation. During a small part of my day I cooked, ate and cleaned acompanied by your voice. the whole time this sense of somber happiness surrounded me. and I liked that. I like when art, and your writing is art, makes me guess will I laugh or let a tear in the next moment. Jeff, once again a video you made has struck me to my core, not only through your recounting of the game (which i havent played), but even more profoundly through the stories you tell of your life. I can honestly say that the heart and soul of your storytelling makes these videos special in a way I rarely find in media. Thank you for your hard work!
The story of Fredik really caught me off guard. I kept thinking "where is this going?", and began to suspect that he might have taken his own life. Jumping off a building at that street you mentioned. I was very surprised at what actually happend, even though I probably shouldn't have been. You have such a great skill for writing, and it keeps impressing me. If you ever write a book, I know I'd have to get it and read it, even though that's not something I really do. Anyway, gonna keep watching the video now. Just had to make a comment about that segment.
Your discussion about kims 'Whats with all the running' comment is funny because I never ran in the first day and was confused by him saying that. I didn't know there was a way to run, and I didn't consider there would be one since time doesn't advance unless you are doing dialogue. The dialogue cannot tell whether you are running or walking places, and its the single place that i actively noticed that the game world wasn't reacting to my choices correctly. Later on there are mentions of all your running hurting your leg wound, but they also happen even if you deliberately walk everywhere to try making it hurt less. I find it funny that they accounted for everything else I did, like wearing ridiculous outfits for serious moments, but they didn't factor in that some people would just slowly walk everywhere
3:44:30 My headset started blaring static and I thought it was a very clever bit, brilliant even. But after 30 seconds of screeching noise, I realized it was a technical issue. It was amazing serendipity. Thank you Jeffiot.
Seeing my friend recently fully play this game for the first time was definitely unique. He was probably the only person I've seen with full page of completed thoughts, and just shit ton of skill points. He pulled of insane skill checks with 8% multiple times, and almost failed that god damn Kim 97% authority check (both of them even). And most importantly, he quickly changed how he played this game, from trying a lot of really dumb answers, to actually trying to be a proper detective who wants to change Recommending everyone to give Shivers a try will never be not entertaining. That, and Spirito and Encyclopedia. Just constant stream of exposition, and a really fucking well written one that is Incredible game, I hope one day Zaum will be whole again :(
a masterpiece, frankly. i don’t know that I’ve ever been so invested, so moved by a video on here. i didn’t originally plan on watching it all in one sitting, but once it got going i couldn’t look away. stay strong king.
I just recently found your channel, and I can't tell you how excited I was to see this video come up. I'm really excited to hear your unique style interact with the unique style of disco elysium!
It is mindboggling to me how open and choice driven such a narrative game is able to be. I encountered the union boss over 20 hours into my playthrough and it felt completely in line with a presumed intended progression.
The story about Fredrik was shocking and absolutely mesmerizing. It almost made me cry. I did not think a personal anecdote would be the highlight of a otherwise great video about my favourite game of all time.
4:42:27 no, your stories were the most important. Thank you for sharing them, so carefully and eloquently. I played the video on the background, while i worked, like i do often (and well. As a disco fan, i MUST see everything anyone shares about their feelings on the game haha) But when you told your stories, i put my work down and looked, carefully. I love your journey in elysium, but i already know that i'll remember those bits of your life you've shared for a really, really long time.
from an outside perspective; i think this is one of your best videos. i like the things you make, they have value in the world and your insight into them is valuable and unique. i also want to say, that while i don't know you personally, as someone who has struggled with depression some of the thing you say in this video make me worry about how you are doing. please make sure you are leaning on your support system and know that even though you want to be perfect, nobody else expects that from you. from the side you've shown on this channel you are a deeply caring person and when you are hurting people want to care for you in return, because relationships of all kinds are best when they are reciprocal like that. i hear you say that you want to be the friend people rely on when they need it, and i think your friends likely want to be that person for you too. i don't want to get too caught up in all of that and miss out on praising what i thought was an amazing video that i'm literally about to rewatch immediately! i've tried to get into DE many times but your video is the only one that i've connected with, and i'm so glad i got to experience it through this lens and with your perspective! i like that you can both acknowledge and appreciate the humor of it while not letting those parts gloss over the deeply emotional and relatable aspects integral to the game.

you have blown me away AGAIN. everything you make gives me so much more than i bargained for and i'm so proud to have been a supporter of yours for so long. i've had to put a pause on my patronage because of a change in financial situation but GOD i can't wait to be back. you're the most consistently brilliant creator i've ever had the honour of coming across, and your writing has an undercurrent of bareness, something very abrasive and human that i really connect with. this style of audio-visual collage that is typical of youtube video essays is a medium that i think really suits you! i think your background in film really shows itself; i feel like you perform your scripts instead of just delivering them. i think in the youtube space there's a tendency to see authenticity and vulnerability as incompatible with curation and intention, but trying to get your soul into your hands and hold it out to someone is hard work. it needs the effort you give it. i appreciate you and your work so much - scoutfield
On the subject of can deposits; it is a thing in parts of the US. I come from Michigan, where we offer a whole ten cents of a dollar per can. But there’re only like a dozen states that have any deposit and refund program. We also don’t call it “tare.”
I think I might be the only person to ever play Disco Elysium without knowing anything about it before hand. It was gifted to me by my brother in my birthday and I hadn't been keeping up with any video game news whatsoever, so every little detail of it hit me like a ton of bricks and I was utterly enchanted. I spent 10 minutes staring at the opening menu, listening to the music, and was filled with awe. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but I had lost all faith in the idea that genuine art was being made in the commercial space of any industry, but the sincerity and beauty radiated through every second of the experience. I was theorizing right off the bat that the art style was reflecting the consciousness of someone losing their mind because of the impressionistic Van-Gogh-like style, as if the player were seeing the world through the eyes of an artist slowly going crazy. Anyway, I'll cut my diatribe short and continue watching the rest of your video...

The only knowledge I had from this game, was that one of the voice actors in it voiced a character in another game. Besides that, I didn't even know what type of game Disco Elysium was, I didn't know it was a roleplaying game. To be honest, for some reason I thought it was a game similar to Hotline Miami, so finally knowing about the type of game it was/is, makes me want to know more about it
@jotarochikito of course, you're right. I've just seen too many video essays that start with the same thing, but this one was definitely the most unique one. I hope you play the game and enjoy it
@@SahiranBeatz Oh, it's all right! In fact, I'm glad to say that I started playing the game. I'm still on its first day but I have around 7/8 hours for now. I'm LOVING it. Some moments feel so personal and they definitely touch some sensible fibers in me. I need to admit tho, I'm going to continue this analysis AFTER finishing the game, I don't want it to be spoiled to me, knowing that I don't really know anything about it. Idk if you even care, but I decided to immerse myself in the story by managing my stats, habs, thoughts, clothes, etc, around me, as well as their decisions as if I WERE Harry. Like, for example, wearing clothes I would wear, choosing ONLY dialogues that I would sayz etc, etc, and to be honest is an incredible experience. I keep day dreaming about being there, walking around the departments, asking questions to posible witnesses, etc. It's a beautiful experience
Inspirational. The more I see content like this, the more I feel driven to get off my ass and make something of myself. The language used to describe pursing your dream, it being more valuable to you than just the money, but still so eloquently described the cognitive dissonance of believing that and needing to make 'good' money to continue to do that comfortably for not just you but your loved ones, fucking beautiful.
Wanted to comment and say this was an exquisite video. I am intimidated by the amount of content in this video game, but you’ve given me the courage to try to play it. Jeff, your content, your words, your light permeates my soul. You make a difference in the lives of everyone who watches you. You’re an amazing person and an amazing creator. You are creating real, tangible things and I can’t wait to see more of them. Thank you so much for being you.
Jeffiot you CANNOT do this to me. Five hours? Of Disco Elysium analysis? Do you want me to be dead or something. It's midnight I can't binge this right now! (I'm binging this right now)
The canon novel has a free English audio book on RUclips (Sacred and Terrible Air). Also two English translations in PDF (the 2nd translation is better, I personally would read both). Martin Lugia (Founding ZAUM member) has a cannon to Elysium short story and LOTS of lore on his medium blog. I would read the book probably 3 or 4 times before spoiling some stuff for yourself on the blog Other than that: Elysium directly "connects" or "meets" our IRL reality seemingly very often. In the game, the sniper sings lyrics from an IRL "Maniac Street Preacher" song called "If you tolerate this". Also, the character of Egghead speaks almost only in Lyrics from the German Jumpstyle Group "SCOOTER". Lots of great bits of Elysium in SCOOTER music videos. now with the editing and commentary saying not to go to IA to look up Disco Elysium because some ding-dong buffoon uploaded it, I have been hearing that this traffic going to IA for the sake of "not doing so" will unintentionally place a bullseye on IA for more legal issues in the future. A lot of online posts gain traction sharing about its existence but are deleted eventually... nothing against magically finding DE from somewhere but maybe let's not make IA a bigger target, they've been through enough 😓

Disco Elysium is the kind of game where calling him Harry DuBois in the first minute of this video amounts to an actual real spoiler. 😂

And that's it on the lowest setting...

@@QuietM4n Nice classic literary/ anime reference but If you'd like a more concrete answer, I could spoil you a bit
"Cuno is gonna end up like a fucking Porcupine"
THANK YOU
Disco Elysium AND Jeffiot. 2 of my favourite things + 5 hours of it
All the way through this amazing video essay you've mentioned how many other people were only too happy to help you in your endeavour.

And most importantly, he quickly changed how he played this game, from trying a lot of really dumb answers, to actually trying to be a proper detective who wants to change

As a disco fan, i MUST see everything anyone shares about their feelings on the game haha)
But when you told your stories, i put my work down and looked, carefully.

Disco elysium is the type of game that makes you want to make a 5 hour video commentary about it
@@bartekcalinski1221 I feel like I could make a channel strictly dedicated to talking about the Canon novel and short stories, And I would have video topics and content for years
Vulnerable & moving writing. Best vid yet.
I will complain about the fact that Jeffiot doesn't have 30 million subscribers doing a LOT more than regular gameplay youtubers until we hit 30 million!
I've been here since his final destination video and I only wish this man the best of the best
the talk at the 3 hour mark really hit me in the feels. Respect the honesty and love the content.
Finally a video essay lengthy enough for Disco Elysium.
Sheeeeesh is this the extended version of Return of the King, or just a youtube video from the goat himself??
48:42 I didn't expect TMBG in this video, but I loved the reference
The Tribunal de-brief really struck me hard. I don't think I've ever felt so seen or recognised, like looking into a emotional mirror.
Jag vill verkligen att du vet hur mycket dom orden du sa rörde mig, jag grät.
I totally get it what you were trying to convey in chapter 12, i had the exact same reaction to the ending of L.A. Noire.
this is a video i will come back to and rewatch over and over. i can't articulate it well, but it touched something real inside - especially your personal notes, *especially* the re-written segment. this is by far my favorite video essay i've ever watched and i've watched many.
Goddamn, second video of yours that makes me cry... Thanks for that ride. Well worth it. "It's about the journey not the destination."
you have blown me away AGAIN. everything you make gives me so much more than i bargained for and i'm so proud to have been a supporter of yours for so long. i've had to put a pause on my patronage because of a change in financial situation but GOD i can't wait to be back. you're the most consistently brilliant creator i've ever had the honour of coming across, and your writing has an undercurrent of bareness, something very abrasive and human that i really connect with. this style of audio-visual collage that is typical of youtube video essays is a medium that i think really suits you! i think your background in film really shows itself; i feel like you perform your scripts instead of just delivering them. i think in the youtube space there's a tendency to see authenticity and vulnerability as incompatible with curation and intention, but trying to get your soul into your hands and hold it out to someone is hard work. it needs the effort you give it. i appreciate you and your work so much

On the subject of can deposits; it is a thing in parts of the US. I come from Michigan, where we offer a whole ten cents of a dollar per can. But there’re only like a dozen states that have any deposit and refund program. We also don’t call it “tare.”
This video is absolutely phenomenal. Please please keep doing what you do. Sincerely, thank you.
@@Jonjzi You should definitely check out the Canon novel which is called sacred and terrible air (Free audiobooks + PDF are available online). After reading the book a few times check out Martin Lugia's "medium" blog For more Canon short stories and articles filled with lore
I just want to say I'm proud of the sensitive instrument my Patreon dollars are going to. Beautiful video, especially poinient in weaving in the stories from your own life.
My favorite disco Elysium pet is the several Cockatoo's that are described in the book- you know what. I don't remember if they were referred to as pets or if they were just describing wild birds. This renders my point (that was playing into the caricature that you painted of fans who think one thing is super important to mention that you forgot) obsolete. Thank you. I will go back to watch now.
It's a book that warns that they are horrible pets, but still tells you to assign yourself an animal personality and it does mention people trying to keep them as pets I'm almost certain
another absolute banger from jeffiot. every single time i watch one of your videos and i think, "oh im not too interested in this game/show/whatever but ill watch it bc i like him" im blown away every time. thank you for making videos!! im now gonna get disco elsyium when i can :)
About an hour in after the story about the kid you once knew I said to myself that you were giving big Tim Rogers Action Button vibes and then later you mentioned it verbatim. Very nice video man!
YEAAAAAA JEFFIOT IS BACK 😭😭😭 you have quickly become my favorite RUclipsr, I have watched almost all of your videos multiple times each waiting for a new upload. I am saving this one for my shift tonight
Honestly maybe my favorite of your videos. Many of the things you touched on and your interpretation were incredibly moving.
From a gameplay perspective Disco Elysium eludes my interest. But I hear so many good things about it's story. So I'm very excited to watch this video over the course of several days and/or weeks.
I would read the book probably 3 or 4 times before spoiling some stuff for yourself on the blog
Other than that: Elysium directly "connects" or "meets" our IRL reality seemingly very often. In the novel, this continues, but I wont spoil
"Honey? Yeah, Im really sorry but im not gonna be home for dinner tonight. Yeah he dropped another video, 5 hours of Disco Elysium analysis. Ill see you tomorrow."
Superb analysis, my guy. Very well-written, a delight to listen to, accounting for shortened attention span with switch of narrative bits. Thank you so much. You deserve more visibility.
thank you for this video. ive been waiting for someone to make a video like this about disco elysium. your editing is phenomenal, and your voice is so calming!! im only two hours in, but im looking forward to the rest. thank you so much.
1:02:49 The ice bear fridge is in fact a reference to Sea Power (formerly British Sea Power), who did the soundtrack for the game! At their gigs, they have someone dressed in a polar bear costume in the audience

Once in a while, a video really seems to resonate with me on a level that I find difficult to articulate. When you spoke to wanting to just, make this video. To communicate with it. To reach out and be honest with it.
I just want you to know, that I see you doing this and I appreciate it. I may not be a phasmid, but I see you and appreciate the raw beauty that you have put into the world with this piece. I have a feeling it is going to be one of those fragments of memory that come drifting back, a decade from now, in wistful nostalgia.
Thank you.
Nearly 5 hours of Jeff? Oh we eating good today fellas
This really scratches the Tim Roger itch and thats really the nicest thing I can say about a video essay
and that is the bottom line.
1:47:16 - I actually really appreciated the breath of fresh air that this slow methodical animation represents. It's like those quiet moments in Ghibli movies. Gotta let it breathe sometimes.
Can't count how many times I got emotional watching this vid. I can never play disco elysium for the first time again but this came close. You've really managed to make something special here! Thank you and thank Kras Mazov.
I save scummed the hell out of my first playthrough but all my subsequent playthroughs I’m going with the first roll only
I enjoyed this video in a way that I cannot put into words, thank you for all the effort, planning and time you poured into the meticulously crafted piece of media. This was a very thought-provoking video with an ending that leaves you both with answers and questions : )
why does every video essay about this game begin with explaining it like we know nothing about it. I'm literally here because I played the game multiple times and I'm in love with it. who would click a 5 hour video about a game they know nothing about? "disco elysium is a role playing game..." yeah, it surely is. for the 100th time, it is...
"who would click a 5 hour video about a game they know nothing about?"
Me, literally me.
I fucking love this channel, the second i get interested in this game my favorite youtuber drops a 5 hour video essay
No way, NO EFFING WAY. My favorite RUclipsr AND my favorite game in the whole wide world? 😭 You’re spoiling me rotten today
a really well written and thorough video covering the game i fell in love with last year. you keep outdoing yourself, jeff!!
Holy hell, an almost 5hr Jeffiot video. Just started it, but amazing work. Can only imagine how long this took
