Hi everyone A number of you have asked how you can watch the videos in order. On our channel's home page if you select the video tab you can then sort by oldest, newest or most popular. We have also created playlists to help you watch the videos you want. There are playlists by country, series (such as Backpacking Central America). We have also grouped all the food videos together and have one called watch from the beginning where they are all in order - hope that helps those of you wanting to watch more - have a fabulous week xx
LOL the iron gate to our ranch has "We don't call 911" on it. Welcome to Texas! There's a common saying in TX- "if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute"!
Love it. I think I told you about how, in Idaho, they’d pay us $5 per rattlesnake skin. My adventures on horses way in the back country looking for snakes. My friend nearly killing himself. I was 10! Think about that???? I rode a horse, fully loaded with guns… finding my life. I remember fishing poles…. Campfires and feeling like a king. When they say, “They don’t makem like they used to,” it’s true.
Those old blocks making up the jailhouse are genuine Texas limestone, which exists in abundance in the Hill Country.. Locals also invented limecrete which is an early version of concrete.
Bandera, got our marriage license at their beautiful courthouse. So many years ago, yet still the same feel of a country town. Love watching your videos. You really know how to show appreciation for the areas you are filming. Thanks.
Just to let you know, with regard to the "Bat Houses"... most of the Hill Country of Texas is covered in limestone caves, that house thousands of bats. At certain times of the year the local weatherman can actually track them on radar. The largest cave in Texas is Natural Bridge Caverns north of Garden Ridge, TX, Longhorn Caverns south of Burnett, TX off HWY-281, and InnerSpace just north of Austin on I-35. Great to see you got off the Interstate, to take in the local color of the "True Texas"!
I commented on your San Antonio video and now in this video you’re in the Hill Country where I live! The Caverns would have been perfect way to spend a hot day in a VERY naturally cool and beautiful cave system. You picked some very fun places to visit, and there’s so many more. I know you are on your way elsewhere…be safe and enjoy.
Yes, there were camels in Texas -they were stationed in Camp Verde, in central Texas, where the Army used them as beasts of burden on short supply trips to San Antonio. I have been there and also, lots to do in that whole area.
The reason for the camels is becausethe US Army used to have a camel corps for trekking materiel across the harsh West Texas desert all the way to the West coast. They were found to be much more effective than cows with wagons and were used surprisingly a lot in the days before the automobile ! LOL I think they were imported from Arabia in the 1800's
IMO, you're in the best part of Texas. The Hill Country has some fresh flowing streams and beautiful campsites. Not to mention so much history to see going back thousands of years.
Three hours north of Bandera is another "cowboy capitol of the world", Stephenville, which is another rural gem. Texans are wonderful. Yes, it is hot but that is what air conditioning is for!!
I’m so glad y’all had a great time in the cowboy capital of the world. They have a couple of really great museums there too. Such a fun video again! Looking forward to more. I’ll go watch the prior videos now! Again… y’all are so great! ❤️❤️❤️
Wow !!! How great that you went to Bandera my family and I have a timeshare there been going since we were kids . We would go swimming on the river with the waterfall’s. So glad you all are enjoying the sites of the Texas hill country. Safe travels 🙏🏼
HI Chris and Marianne, you really captured the Texas Hill Country vibe in this video. The leather shop was my highlight, I’ve always wondered how they prepare snake skin for objects. You continue to meet wholesome folks who represent the area you are touring and thanks for sharing them with us. I’m so glad you got a taste of Texas rain, I bet the smell was glorious and made sleeping good. Be well and travel safely.
That is a great purpose for that old Greyhound bus , now a goat bus !! When I was a kid I would ride buses like that with my grandmother . So cool !! You’ve probably seen the new Greyhound buses on the interstate that look like boxes. No style like the old ones.
I know its out of the way, but the Rio Grande Valley, the southernmost tip of Texas is a treat. The Valley has incredible, authentic Mexican food and the area is pretty homogeneously bilingual with Spanish. The South Padre Island is the beach everyone goes to for spring break and it is one of the nicest Gulf Coast beaches. Maybe some travel guides would say its high in crime, but it's completely overblown and a very very unique area of the US. Hands down the closest you can get to Mexico, both figuratively and literally!
Welcome to Texas!! I was wondering how long it would take y’all to talk about the heat and humidity. 😳 I actually don’t wear glasses in the summer here (San Antonio) because they fog up. 😊 I have to wear my contacts. 😂
That was some genuine Americana you found -- along with some Blue Bell ice cream! Traveling off the motorways just can't be beat if you have the time. ❤️❤️😎👍xx
Nice update again, 3 episodes just on Texas, that shows how huge that state is. I saw you guys popping up for a second at the Travel Beans video and overlanding Sophia are on their way. USA is getting the spotlights for the time to come! Enjoy the upcoming route and I look forward to the video impression.
Hello! Friends! You should consider the installation of roof air conditioniner due to extreme weather in the USA. You have not experienced the hot temperature, yet!
Another interesting video from Texas, I thought you would end up in Austin. When will you be there and show us "the Weirdest City of Texas". Hope you do.
Ha ha - no we have had enough of cities for the moment and we are visiting a few places before going off grid to find some wilderness !! I can't wait to get Trudy out there !!
Glad to see that you're having a great time in the USA. I have enjoyed watching the video blogs of all the interesting places that you have visited in the USA. May God bless you and keep you safe.
Loving the USA videos. I have some questions: 1) Do you ask permission before filming inside shops/places of interest and how do you get staff to talk on camera? 2) How do you film without being self-conscious of people around you giving you weird looks or something? I filmed for a Vlog today and was so self-conscious. I want to be confidant like you guys.
Keep going - you got this - we have made over 500 videos and we still need to improve and work hard trying to improve - but as my mum used to say practice makes perfect !! M xx
That was my favourite video of yours I've seen so far , texas is huge makes you realise how small England is , if you could ,would you move to the states if possible ? Stay say safe guys
you guys let me know when you ...hopefully get to Montana....the best back roads....seriously I will give you great route ideas....a viewer from Churchill Montana....a wind lashed wet day mostly rain, but a few intervals of snow , the valley is just greening...I saw an otter familiarly multi generation on the river antelope mule and whitetail deer antelope eagles and so many ravens...Montana roads when explored reward...
Marianne you do a really good Texan accent. You two found some really neat places to explore there in Texas. The camels reminded me, if you go through San Diego, Ca. there is a place called Oasis Camel Dairy in nearby Ramona, Ca. and they sell a variety of camel milk products. Glad you've been able to get out into some wilder places in nature to spend the night. And yes, I watched Dallas as well, who can forget the cliff hanger....Who shot JR? Hope you've had a great weekend, take care.
Hello Ambassadors What a video this was. Many little but highly interesting locations and lovely people. I really enjoyed this one. You adapt the environment so easily, Marianne's Texan accent was wonderful 😂😂😂 Your videos serve as FREE TRIP for your followers. Here is a little comment: When I was in New Orleans I always felt that HOT AND HUMID weather Which is fed by the Gulf of Mexico. You guys really need a good cooling system. I wonder if those Walmart fans are good enough to cool you at nights. I liked to know that, I want to buy the power source, dolar panels and the fans myself, what do you RECKON?😗 LOVE YOU GUYS💕💕💕🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Thanks Nick - we ordered the fans online so they are very good at keeping the air moving and drowning out any noise from outside - we are enjoying the cooler air above Albuquerque at the moment 🌺
You need to shoot while you are here! It’s a TEXAS thing. You can ask anyone where you can do it. It’s worth trying if you’ve never shot a gun. Most new people are surprised at how much they enjoy It. It’s nothing to be afraid of. Try it, there are shooting ranges everywhere!

My grandmother had malaria at 16 in Arkansas. Her community could have used some bat houses near the rice fields.
Those old blocks making up the jailhouse are genuine Texas limestone, which exists in abundance in the Hill Country.. Locals also invented limecrete which is an early version of concrete.
Limecrete is also better for the environment! Well done Texas!
Glad you're enjoying yourselves..yall have fun now ya hear
Love the Hill Country and the friendly people in Texas!
This is just the stuff we want, seeing the local people with some of their quirky ways is fascinating, well done guys.
I live in the Texas hill country! Glad y’all enjoyed your time there!
The USA is great but the best thing about the USA is the people! Thanks for showing that.

It seems that the British aren't the only ones who talk about the weather all the time 😊
Carlsbad caverns in New Mexico for the bats!
Arky Blues is a great place. Your close to the Old Number 9 Preserve, bat tunnel and Mount Alamo home of Alamo Springs Cafe. Great burgers.
Make sure on your trek north to visit the Thurber-Mingus on I-20.

Saw ya'll on 3 Bros Running Company page
Awh - great to hear - thank you
Fun Fact: "Howdy" is short for "Howdy Do", which is short for "How do you do?" Modern Texans will often say "How ya'll doin?" / "How ya doin?"
People in Texas go to church on Sunday morning.
I’m hoping you guys kept your eye on a weather app in that part of the country 😟
Wonderful
Hot? This is Texas. Yup it gets hot around here. 🤠
