Have great memories of watching these with my brother, He took me to see them live, I tell you now, i'm glad i wasnt sat in the front row, The poor kid they got on stage was bright red with embarrassment by the end😂😂
@@Lezzyboy87 I have lived in Australia since 1985 so my cultural references have taken a bashing since I left blighty. I have done my homework now though and give props to Jeremy! Thanks for the heads up.
Definitely! Inside number 9 is bloody brilliant IMO. One of my favourite shows of all time. Fantastic writing and acting, and actually very thought-provoking.
I visited Hadfield only last year (2020), the LOCAL village where the exterior shots were filmed. The joke shop name board is still there, but the butchers which used to sell 'special stuff sausages' has closed although the branch in Glossop is still open. The creepy thing is the entire village had no destination road signs to leave, bar one, so working out how to get out of the place literally took ages. Fictional Royston Vasey's welcome board announced 'You'll never leave', I was beginning to think it was for real!
You need to do the Christmas special! Would be so cool to see that before Christmas. It’s a great standalone story, so gives nothing away of the main storylines. It’s the best thing they ever did.
Tall guy plays Sherlock Holmes as brother, Mycroft, on ELEMENTARY. Guy who plays shop lady, plays a Jack the Ripper specialist on WHITECHAPEL. BOTH GOOD ACTORS😍
I think the ‘local place for local people’ gag is kind of a parody of the fact some rural areas in the UK aren’t keen on unfamiliar faces in their villages and can be a bit hostile 😂
Me and my wife walked into a pub in norfolk. The landlord asked if we were on holiday. I said yeh and he said bluntly "Bars closed, kitchens closed" and disappeared out back. It was so weird all the locals just stared at us like we were alien. It felt like the bar on american werewolf.
Enjoyed your comments the league of gentlemen is very English humor I think you did so well last thing I said congratulations Peter from Byron Bay Australia cheers mate
TLOG - so horrifically wonderful. Brings back memories of watching this with my son. We were always saying - but are you localllllll ?! at every opportunity. I guess you know what the meat is Jamal.
Truely one of the great comedies. You have to do the 'The Fastshow' sometime, I know you did Ted and Ralph's drinking game, hilarious as you know, can't wait thanks for your reactions
Love L.O.G. , got the DVDs and went to the live show, Reece being form my home town and a lot of the characters being based on local people makes me laugh even more .but my all time favourite segment is Stumphole Cavern S1E5... "I myself am not fond of the darkness - I sleep with the lights on now. It’s in the darkness I see the boy’s face. Eyes protruding, tongue out... black." You have only just started there are so many more great characters to come yet .

Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO with Larry David is hilarious. He created Seinfeld with Jerry and was the head writer and executive producer for the first seven seasons and the show is freaking awesome. 👍 he plays himself only it’s pretty much the way he wants to be in real life. The things he wants to say to people and and it’s hilarious
"Foul fuckin' mouthed?" always cracks me up. 😂😂😂
forget everything you think you know about England. Royston Vasey is a true snapshot of average English life.
Well, the North 👍🤣

Have you noticed that in Inside Number 9 they always manage to get in some reference to having a piss?

This series was so out there odd/ funny when it came out it cracked me up, but the way you laugh makes me find it even more enjoyable

It features a couple of characters who aren't introduced until season 2, which could be an issue.
He's already watched it
Man , I'm so glad that you are enjoying this It builds and builds..
You are in for a treat when you get to the 'Nude Day' scene. Great reactions sir, all the best.
Shhh spoilers :)
He's seen up to season 3 episode 4
Don't ask about the meat, the meat is only for local people.
That comment was brilliant 👏
They filmed this close to where I live. Used to go and watch them filming.
That is awesome man!
This show is equally one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen and one of the scariest. I don’t ever want to go to Royston Vasey. You never leave.
"Or would you prefer tea?! pmsl
My favourite comedy series ever lol
I don't think they ever actually tell you what the meat is, it's always just implied
one of my favorite storylines in the series! the ambiguousness is what makes it so good imo :)
‘Nude Day’ - with Auntie Val, still to come. 😷
Its a hair sandwich.
Love that comment you mentioned 😂

‘Inside No. 9’ is the best show, you should defo check that out 😁
Royston vasey is the real name of comedien Roy chubby Brown
Thanks bud!
Took me a while to realise one of them plays Mycroft in Sherlock
And professor Lazarus, the one who turned into a scorpion monster in doctor who.
He co-created it too

You hit the nail on the head, it's a unique show,
And don't forget, it's a local show for local? Nutcases?
The meat is human flash and is a nod to a classic British horror film frightmare
Brilliant and crazy.....
The vet is one of the funniest characters, along with papa lazarou and pops.
Also psychoville is a superb comedy as well.
Pop is the best, sad that in the last 3 episodes he was a monster.
@@paulovalente5276 I need to watch it through again. Haven't watched it for so long that I've forgotten bits 😂
Yeah pops was a boss haha
Although they are rabbits they talk and act...like people!....
