As a social worker who works on suicide prevention hotline (988), I cannot stress enough the importance of not dismissing suicidal ideation as not being a severe issue. Mental health is complex and not always easily understood. Even if someone mentions thoughts of suicide casually, we cannot determine the full extent of their intentions until they explicitly voice a plan. Just because someone has not disclosed a plan does not mean they do not have one, especially if they have openly expressed distress online. Regardless of our personal feelings towards someone, it is imperative to take their mental health seriously. As I am not a Stormi fan either. However, I appreciate your content and wanted to share my insight on this topic.
