You always have the right lure to catch-and-release your fans, and keep us hangin' around for more. Best to you and yours, and here's to a good greenhouse crop!
Thanks for sharing this on GPF! I like that you catch and release. I watched a trapper set up squirrel traps on a neighbor’s attic. I don’t know if this is true for all critters (or even for squirrels), but he recommend releasing them not only far away, but put a body of water between their origin and release points. Apparently they are less likely to return if they have to cross water....? IDK.
Thanks for this. I used your idea to create my own from things laying around the property. Put a can of dog food inside it and a little after dark I saw the door close from my security cameras. Has a racoon in it.
There’s a town and a highway lol. The other way I take them has a bridge that’s about 1000ft long too. My wife got chickens and I think it’s drawn in every raccoon for miles lol.
Wooden Tool Man - WE MISS YOU!!!!! I miss your great videos and cool projects. Please consider coming back to RUclips!

I decided to make my trap with a 55 gallon oil drum. This simple design works perfectly. Thank you very much for posting this. Cheers. Ben
Plot twist: These are the same critters someone 10km away caught and released near your place.
That’s so funny cause that’s what I told my wife LOL
Ra ha ha ha..and yet the little fellas never wise up..
You have a good head on your shoulders, very well done and thought through trap. I applaud you!!
Great ideas! You sound just like Frosty the snowman.
YES! Finally! A great idea! And I'm sure I have all the parts on hand. Thanks!
Going to build this. Get that big guy with a 4" footprint!
Good and glad to see you posting again.

Miss you dude! Hope you are ok!
Really nice trap. Great job .is everything still the same or have things changed
good video thanks
Where are you located? Sounds like Nova Scotia
Just wondering if a skunk would spray if caught in this trap?
Ncie and simple!
1 or 2 handles would work for lifting. Nice design. A $100 trap for about $10. Thanks
clever!
Good thinking on this. Ya, ya have to take them out very far and good to have a major obstruction between like a big highway or town.

@@Woodentoolcompany2 Yup, that's it. Trouble is you will rack up a lot of miles taking them out. I know I did.
@@Lee-qp6gf I’m starting to see that lol. I thought I had one of them. Boys was I mistaken. It’ll be interesting to see just how many I cart off
@@Woodentoolcompany2 I went thru a similar run. It seemed to stop after 7 or so. Probably a family of them.
More Tool Man
Damn. Your clever. I have a live trap but the raccoon won't go in it. He steals the bait through the wire cage.
Great video thanks 🙏
That raccoon was "detailed"
Excuse my ignorance, but why are you trapping these raccoons & just letting them go? What’s the point? Thanks from Manchester, U.K.
Possibly to relocate the animals to a better safer spot
It’s illegal in Utah
where I Come From under skin control has begun we are screwed
