    I expect the battery weighs around 10 lbs. so taking it out before lugging the bike around would help a good bit.

      @@westcoastorbust2462 Me? Clearly you either leave the battery in and bike from wherever you are or you load the bike into a vehicle to transport it in which case taking the battery out makes that easier.. I'd get checked if I were you.

    Sale price got me interested in this version of bike.
    The actual range kind of shocks me.
    I read an article of a 250+ pound rider who got just over 30 miles (throttle only) on a single charge.
    That is why I like to go through multiple reviews on a product.

    Saying that it is the one you will probably continue to use the most tells me more about the bike than any of the details or specs.

    Thanks for the review. I’m wondering if you can tell me if repairs are easy to perform in the us bike? Sometimes the wire connectors are hidden deep in the frame and it makes it impossible to change a tire or replace parts without requiring. Are the connectors visible and easy to disconnect? Thanks for your review!

    Can you use the throttle while on pedal assist or do you have to change the mode to throttle only? I heard on other reviews that you can't use throttle while being on pedal assist mode.

  • @John-rw2zf
    @John-rw2zf 2 года назад

    I don't think that straight up riding position is good if your battery goes dead and you need to pedal. If that happens I think you should lower your handle bars to change your riding position and give your legs more leverage and power. I would be interested to know what others think about this. I do agree with the video maker about it being hard to pedal without battery assistance in the upright position. I think bending over some might help quite a bit in that situation. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks for a great review. I'm 5'4" 115 pound female would I have any problems with this bike in your opinion? I'd be storing it in the garage so there'd be minimal times that I'd be folding it down to transport and I do have a hefty hubby!

    • @carthellkelly1599
      @carthellkelly1599 2 года назад

      I'm six inches taller than you, and I find myself having to lean the bike to the side to mount it. The specs do state that you are within its rider height range, but I'd have a hard look at the Ranger model first if available. The Ranger is foldable and has a step-through frame, but it weighs and costs slightly more.

    I feel like your range test isn’t accurate because you tested it in the snow. If it were warmer the battery would last longer.

    Is it correct that the folding mechanism got the frame and the handlebars don’t have safety catches? Seems like it could be a pretty disastrous situation if that failed at speed.

    I've been riding this bike for about a month ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwC0IIeIomGQVeBWg-kKJaToZkLEFIA2W and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.

    Can I point out how funny it is to say “it definitely wouldn’t be possible to carry it around for any extended period of time”. Don’t carry, just ride it. Why would you carry it farther than you would ride it? He is trying to find something wrong here

      How about carrying up the stairs to your apartment, or an office building where you work, or onto a train or bus for a commute, or 1 of 100 other places you might have to carry the bike instead of just riding it
