Dang I wanna do this but then I keep thinking of all the things that can go wrong... what if it messes up ur nose even worse? I don’t really know any good doctors, even if other people say they are good. I can’t be for absolute certain they won’t mess it up permanently making it worse.
in the gangnam district of seoul, south korea, its basically the plastic surgery district of korea. the surgeons there really know what they are doing and are very specialised in their job and have a lot of experience because sometimes even abroad foreigners come to have a plastic surgery
however, I think you should first consider if you reaally plastic surgery because it's a huge step and try to love your nose (and yourself in general) how it is, because thats what makes you _you_ ^^

@@liad0x I think a surgery should only be done to correct a disease. There are people nowadays who spout “I’ve had my surgery” like it’s some sort of whimsical product you take off a shelf.
The bump I have is caused by a medical issue named deviated septum. If it was just a bump by itself surgery would not even be an option as I have enough respect for my aesthetics to know not to mess around with it

if that area looks wider, that means ur surgeon didn’t break the bones around the nose to push the hump closer together. Since the hump was rasped down, it appears wider.

I like my bumb a lot. It does add character to me. I used to want to get it removed when i was younger but i came around to realize this is me and my nose bumb matters extremely little and im very pretty.
Don't do this surgery I did it, til this day it is the biggest regret of my life. I am not "botched" however I have a serious loss of identity. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I lost my job and all my friends. Depression or suicidal ideation was never something I experienced before. People never research the psychological implications this surgery can have on you, or even the fact that you're probably doing it for the wrong reasons (social media, people teasing, a break up, etc.). If you have body dysmorphia you may not even know you do, and it could make things worse if you don't see a therapist before considering changing your face even if it is a minimal change. If you are a perfectionist or do not handle change well, like a hair cut, this is not for you. Please be careful do not mess with your face, this is not a necessity. I would do anything to have my original natural nose back, I actually liked it and was unique. It has changed my life for worse, not a day goes by that I do not miss my real natural face. I feel robbed. Many of these surgeons will lie to you, psychologically prey on your insecurities, they simply want your money, even their reviews can be fake. My surgeon was double board certified and even so not only did he leave me with unfavorable aesthetics that I specifically told him I did not want, he also left me with serious breathing issues. The risk is not worth it. Embrace your natural self please.

@@Elpenor I am not trolling people this is my genuine reaction. It truly has changed my life and made me more insecure of my nose. The issue was more internal and mental since I had a very mean step father that made fun of my nose when I was a teenage. I look at photos of my old self know and think how could I not see how uniquely beautiful I was. I am mixed European and Latin American, I was always told how exotic I was. I no longer feel feminine, strong and unique. I feel dulled down and robbed of a special part of my identity. I've gone to several therapists and the grieving process has been so difficult, I never was an emotional person. Not worth it. I'd give anything to go back and jump off the table and run. I miss my old self, and when I look at my family or photos, and especially in the mirror it breaks my heart every time. Its one of the first thoughts when I wake up and the last when I go to sleep. It has been well over a year, and as I learn to cope better, I know it is a regret that will never go away. My only true regret in life. I hope this helps at least one person. Love and accept yourself as you are, yout DNA and chromosomes made you in a specifically mapped out way for a reason. Simply look up the Fibonacci Sequence. Everything in nature has a perfect ratio.
There is only one you in this world and no one else. Change you clothes, your friends, your hobbies, but not you body. Its sacred its special. Your imperfections are your perfection. I know in this world with the growing pressure from social media its hard, but forget all that look past it and see how beautiful you truly are. LOVE YOURSELF.

Mental health is not something to make fun of or discredit. I became very suicidal as a result of this surgery and it has taken a lot of work and therapy to push through. Yes, often times people are happy with their rhinoplasties, but ultimately this surgery practice has declined drastically by 43% percent within the last decade (according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons). It has caused me severe breathing issues and headaches. I was also encouraged and overcharged by a very flashy surgeon here in NYC who is strongly sales based. I did this at a time of my life where my self confidence was very low during a break up and a job change. It was not the answer to my insecurity, and only lead to more insecurity and problems. My regret is real, my experience and sadness is real. Simply google "rhinoplasty regret/suicide" or "I want my old nose back" and you will find similar stories that many others have experienced the same emotionally regretful outcome. I am simply sharing in hopes that maybe it can help someone think twice before they experience the same as I have. As I would never wish this kind of depression and loss of identity on my worst enemy.

No cause a few years ago my cousin hit me in the nose and broke it and I didn’t think much of it so we didn’t get it fixed bc when it happened it wasn’t bleeding or anything but as I got older a bump started to appear and the other day my cousin and I was play fighting and he hit me in the nose and now in the middle of my nose it hurts and like the bridge of my nose has a bump then it kinda like slopes down a little and when I squint my nose you can see the whole bone.

I dont care how my nose bump looks but as i get older the more it protrudes sharply at the edges and i have accidentally scratched the skin off of it at night because it is stretched so tight over the bone

Seriously, I do like my nose, and was shocked when I discovered that there was such a thing as corrective surgery (rhinoplasty) to 'fix' it. It's a unique nose, and in some cultures associate people with these types of noses as possessing profound wisdom.

Hey for y’all wanting nose surgery but maybe hesitant on what it could do to your nose, they have injections now. my mom got one and it does the exact same thing as surgery but instead they just inject a thing into whatever you want changed and the effects are like immediate and only last like a year tops, so you can get an injection first and if you like the results then go for a full surgery, but if not then it’ll go back to normal eventually
Thats actually a much safer option. I think they fill in the hump behind, which i would maybe even do too. But fillers move, so everyone needs to be aware of that too.

There are two kind of nose jobs. The cosmetic nose job is purely aestheticall, just for reshaping your nose. The functional nose job is a medically necessary procedure that is used to correct breathing so if that's your case, yes, you should get one.

@@Half-light yes! its been a couple months since i did it and honestly i love it, though you may have to get used to your slightly new look. its not the bad type of "getting used to" just more of a surprised bc every now and then youll forget how different you look lol. but overall i love it.

Nicole Hoeper you can always use temp fillers to change contour.. if you like it you can do fat transfer that is far less expensive and not at all invasive.. please don’t do this surgery.
