You guys are awesome! I love love love the interaction between father and son.. It is so nice to see a family that does things together and truly loves what they're doing. I enjoy watching guys and you have found some really amazing things. Keep up the good work.
Yes it absolutely is the best part of magnet fishing, it’s like playing a game of lucky dip you never know what you will pull out next! Hope you enjoyed the video 👍

I'm sure it difficult to find people who would take the trash y'all find in the rivers. I know it's a little difficult here in the States. What I like most about watching these videos is seeing y'all cleaning up the rivers and creeks. It would be amazing to see what 20 people with these magnets could do in a 100 foot stretch.
So why is it difficult in the states, you do not have scrap metal yards or people that rather just leave it behind. Several US magnet fishers I watch clean the water, take things to the dump, guess the fest just lazy leaving their finds there or throwing it in water in first place
@@lorienray6216 Some towns and cities have restrictions on what can be brought to the dump. It just depends on what they can store or move. Also, some areas don't have locals who collect the scrap to move to dumps or to sell. It just depends on where you live.
Hi Marc we are very fortunate in the U.K., it’s not difficult at all to find a local scrap man to collect the scrap metal we pull out and take it away, they are more than happy to do this. Unfortunately some magnet fishers in the U.K. are just lazy and can’t be bothered to contact a scrap man and just leave their scrap metal behind 😡
@@Magneticg I'm glad to hear people who take scarp are readily available. It's a shame that some magnet fishers don't have trash etiquette. Magnet fishing is something I would love to try and I would for sure find out where the best place, near me, to take the scrap before trying it out.

Another great day magnet fishing. I'm always surprised how well you do identifying some of the mud encrusted items you fish out. I always enjoy watching. Thank you.
Fantastic find! Your bullet looks like a Civil War mini ball, that's a relic here in the USA. I couldn't see if it had 3 rings or 2. Definitely worth researching. Thank you again for bringing us on your fishing treasure hunt, I look forward to watching you both find unique treasures. Your friend from Oregon 🇺🇸
Hi Patricia yes it did look a lot like a mini ball but it’s a much smaller calibre. On early black powder bullets the grooves were used to hold a lube which softened the fouling caused by the black powder and made the weapon easier to keep clean. Take care Kev & George 😊
Great to see you out and about again, well done for cleaning up the waterways, the old hammers reminded me of my grandads, I still have it but the handle succumbed to woodworm many years ago.
It’s good to be out Catherine! It’s crazy we find so many hammers in the waterways makes you wonder how they end up there? That’s great that you still have your grandads hammers 😊
I think the thing you called a vending machine is the base of a pay phone as used to be found in phone boxes. The metal constructed phone went on top of the cash box. Very old ones had an A and B buttons to pay or return money. Happy fishing
Thanks for letting us know James that’s interesting, we just assumed it was some kind of vending machine. Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍

I believe that bullet George found at the start of this video is a colonial-era bullet. They were made of lead if it is a bullet. We find them here in the states all of the time while detecting where we know there were battles. That appears to be a handgun bullet by the size and it does not appear to have been fired. It is what we call a "drop". After all, the first Americans came from England. Cool finds!
Hey guys really enjoy you vid it’s surprising what you find . It’s good to see father and son working together and having fun. Bye for now it’s nearly midnight. I am watching from Skye Victoria Australia.
If you were a young guy with a car, this would be a great hobby to have, at the very least you could pay for some of your petrol through scrapyard visits, once in a while you could find something nice enough to sell.
Watching you coil up that cable reminds me of one of my dad's favourite sayings that i never understood then, but do now, which is:- "THE CUSSEDNESS OF INANIMATE OBJECTS". This is where you think you are in charge, but whatever you are trying to have influence over, begs to differ. That can be taken both ways, if you are not finding so many items, either, they have all been fished out, or, were not put in, in the first place. Either way its better for the environment.
It is so great to see 👀 😍 a father and son that interact with each other. Finding treasure 🤑 💰 is a added benefit. I enjoy the video 📹 ☺, good 👍 👌 luck to them.

Hi Artie we like finding history items too! Yes we do restore a lot of the items but I also have a huge pile of items that still need restoring it’s finding the time! Pleased you are enjoying our videos 👍
Hi Tracy yes we will be going out magnet fishing a lot more often now that dad isn’t so busy at work. He works in agriculture so he’s been really busy the last few months 😬
Great video as always. Somedays you hit the mother load and others all you get is some exercise but it’s still fun and the things you pull up are very interesting. Some even have a story behind it.
Just found you guys. I have been binge watching. From Big Spring Texas USA. Suggestions on old axes…I just restored one side and it shined up like a mirror and left the other horrible. You can present the ugly side to people and flip it over and shock them with restored side. I have several I’m working on and there are many on RUclips that restore just axes. Love you guys really enjoy your channel and your accents. 😂
Nice day for it, you have had a great day helping to clean the river up. At least you have got a nice pile of iron for the scrapman. Quite a few people would get disheartened by this and just dump the scrap by the riverbank. It does happen unfortunately and I have witnessed it. Both of you have never done this in your video's and have always acted responsibly. If you find something then that's a bonus and if not, then you have helped out nature and the environment...🙂👍🏻👍🏻
We certainly did clean a lot of scrap out of the waterway that day Eddie! Yes unfortunately there are people who magnet fish and leave the scrap behind, we come across it regularly, very sad 😢
Hello from Georgia USA.Really enjoy watching your videos.Ive been watching your videos since the young lad was a little one.I remember when he got a lot of coins at a bridge
Pleased to hear you enjoy watching our videos! George has grown loads since he first started RUclips he’s over 6 foot tall now! We remember finding all of that money by the bridge it was crazy! Thanks for watching 😊
Highly doubt anybody is shooting steel bullets out of a pistol. That would destroy a gun barrel in a fast fashion. There are some more exotic steel core bullets out there but they are expensive over here in the US. I don't see somebody paying for them over there and just shooting in a creek. If I had to bet I'd say it's some sort of roller bearing or lead free fishing weight.
Yes absolutely it would not be a steel jacketed bullet, it could have had a steel core but highly unlikely. Sometimes non ferrous objects when they lay for years on the river bed accumulate ferrous particles that bind to them making them become magnetic. We found this to be the case when we found a gold ring in the river with a magnet a few years back. Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
You need to appreciate your camera lady better. She obviously puts you up with a lot from both of you two fellows and goes even when the weather is bad! 😄😉
I'm a new subscriber! Just happened to run across your video & enjoyed it. Thanks for helping to remove trash & other stuff from the rivers & streams. From beautiful Senoia, Georgia, US of A!
Another great video from a wonderful family. Can't believe you pulled out another ax handle for dad George 😂. I like that you always try to figure out what each piece is. Loving your channel from Indiana USA
Pleased you enjoyed the video Terry! Yes it was incredible finding another axe! We did get to find out if the tiny axe I found on our previous video was Viking or not, we posted an update on our community tab. Here’s what the expert had to say incase you haven’t seen it “Sadly, I don't believe the axe to be Viking as its general form seems quite wrong, it's possibly Medieval to 17th Century in date (somewhat difficult to tell on heavily encrusted items) and probably what's referred to as a trade axe, likely used for the shaping of wooden items by a carpenter. Its far too small to be a weapon and even the smaller throwing axes tended to have a slightly elongated narrow body, which is absent on your example. Most Viking (weapon) axes tend to exhibit what is referred to as a "spur" both top and bottom on either side of the main shaft socket (spur = a slightly extruded point like detail). FYI, I have attached an image showing the most commonly known styles of Viking axes, should you possibly come across one in the future, hope it helps.”
That bullet looks like it's a black powder bullet. I may be wrong but we shoot some black powder and some of them look like that. It probably is old and has been in that river a long time.
The piece before the gate hinge looks like the part of a shovel , spade or fork ect.the part with the bras ends I think is part of an old fashioned pram.

@16:35 looks like an annular brooch.
Hi yes it did in which case it’s possibly medieval in date which ties in with the small axe we found. It’s currently soaking awaiting cleaning 👍
Good job your young I would be stuck to old and recovering Cancer love your post been out trying but we have some clean spots here stay safe
Wishing you a speedy recovery, take care 👍
Hi. Just found you on RUclips and I can't stop watching it. It's brilliant the stuff you find and how much rubbish people throwing in there is ridiculous. Your doing so much good and having fun at the same time, it's brilliant. Love how G gets so excited

Ohio USA.

Do you use an ultrasonic parts cleaning tank to remove the rust?
Yes we do for some items Susan 😊
Glad to see a video. First one I've seen in a long time.
Hi Denise we’ve uploaded a few recently check out our RUclips channel and click videos at the top and you should see them, you may have not got notifications for them. Thanks for watching 😊
I truly hope you find a treasure 🎉. Cleaning the waterways is awesome
Hi Lori we magnet fish to clear the waterways it’s a great feeling to know you are doing something so positive that is making a huge difference, If we find some treasure along the way it’s a nice bonus! Hope you enjoyed the video 😊
It would be interesting to see what you do with the things that you clean up
Hi Heather we need to do more clean up videos for sure! Check out this video where we fully restored back to working order an old BSA air rifle that we found in the canal. Here’s the link to the video ruclips.net/video/HOb4FrPHUXk/видео.html
Great to see you again. Love the axe. Always a thumbs up. 👍👍
We loved the axe too Mary! Tganks for the thumbs up 😊
I was imPRESSED with the iron find. I love your channel. My fave. Iain Leeds Yorkshire. 🇬🇧🏴..LUFC.
We loved the little iron find too Ian! Pleased you are enjoying our videos 👍
I just love when you find history items. Do you guys ever restore the items you find? Love Love Love your videos. ❤️
Hi Artie we like finding history items too! Yes we do restore a lot of the items but I also have a huge pile of items that still need restoring it’s finding the time! Pleased you are enjoying our videos 👍
The hoof protector appears to be the above ankle section of an in-line skate boot
Thanks for pointing that out David we’re feeling a bit stupid now 🤣🤣🤣
Were so happy to see you all and hope to see more. Loved the video and stay safe. 😁🥳
Yes it’s always good fun regardless of finds that’s true 👍
11:29 mark is an old glass cutter. See the tooth on the other end?
Thank you for letting us know it’s much appreciated! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 😊
Camera lady is doing a great job!
Yes she does a great job we are fortunate to have her, we will pass on your comment to her 😊
I thought bullets were made of lead which is non ferrous 🤔... It's commendable for your help in cleaning up the trash that is in our waterways....👍🌹
That’s correct Phillip some bullets can be made of lead some of them have a ferrous core 👍
Thank you for sharing! Love your videos! 🌻🌻🌻
You’re very welcome Sherrie and we’re pleased you are enjoying our videos 😊
6:22 It´s a brake caliper of industrial type
Thanks for letting us know! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
Great video it looked a beautiful place where you was nice finds xx
Pleased you enjoyed the video Susan 😊
Thnk u Dad and George ! Lovely places u have in England ! Oh and thnk u to camera lady ❤
Our pleasure!
Are there metal recycling places there? What about businesses that pay for metal…don’t guess they’d want the corrosion.😂
@@Magneticg where r u guys today? Has George gone off to University ? Bcz ure not making any more video's !!?? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
So excited to see a new video from y'all. From East Texas
Hope you enjoyed it Lana 😊
I look forward to every video. The relationship between Father and Son is hilarious and very sweet ❣️
Great History of Railroad. You two had a great day
Thanks 👍
We do appreciate her Lola we are very fortunate to have her, she does have to put up with a lot from us that’s true!
George is becoming classic with his comments 😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Sending you greetings from the state of Arkansas in the USA.

We’ve got a great video coming up soon Don, all I’m going to say is that George found something absolutely incredible!
I'm a new subscriber! Just happened to run across your video & enjoyed it. Thanks for helping to remove trash & other stuff from the rivers & streams. From beautiful Senoia, Georgia, US of A!
Hi Dan pleased you enjoyed the video and thanks for subscribing! We are from Nottinghamshire in the U.K. Take care, Kev & George
The multi tool looks like a leatherman - collectors item, most from US, worth a few quid if in decent nick.
Thanks for the info Gordon! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
The thing you thought goes round a horses foot about 8mins in…? I think it’s part of a roller skate boot
That bullet looks like it's a black powder bullet. I may be wrong but we shoot some black powder and some of them look like that. It probably is old and has been in that river a long time.
Thanks for the info Karen it’s much appreciated! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 😊
Some unusual stuff out of the river.😁👍
Yes we did get some pretty random stuff out that day Malcolm, we literally walked miles! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
The piece before the gate hinge looks like the part of a shovel , spade or fork ect.the part with the bras ends I think is part of an old fashioned pram.
Appreciate the help identifying things Greg sometimes it’s not obvious what they are when we pull them out 👍
@@Magneticg you're welcome as you said sometimes it isn't obvious especially in the excitement of finding an item. Only recently found your channel again when my old phone went to the cloud's up in heaven.😁 I've now started making a physical list of all the channels I watch as not to forget some if I lose a phone again. Love your videos. I actually find them calming.👍
I bought a 350 pound pull magnet and it doesn't work so good. What size and type do you recommend?
I find it astonishing the amount of ferrous that you pull out of our rivers. Keep it up though. 👍👍👍
It astonishes us Bob! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
@@Magneticg I did like the video. Going to watch more soon. Subbed.
