Lewis actually does have a line like this if you talk to him after the event. Also, (spoiler alert) if you talk to Vincent afterwards he gives you the shard
I don't know, I'm enough of a nerd to wonder if it's actually true what he said about honey retaining the signature of the bee colony of origin through the fermenting process. He wouldn't even needed to have explained it, he could have just run the test, been interrupted before going into the details, and sullenly said they're the same before complaining about not getting to explain it while Shannon put the screws on Pierre. Abigail could then have jumped in with the fact that he's allergic to bees, and pretty much everything else, as in vanilla.

I lived in a small town for the first 10 years of my life. Everything was shutting down. We didn’t have any stores, no gas station, the only community building we had was a library. There was an old jail building, but we didn’t have any police. Or really any services, but I especially remember being concerned we didn’t have any police.

Although this was a mod, I feel like Russell and Shannon would actually be great canon additions to the game! Not only does it add more marriage candidates who don't feel too young, it also adds SO much more to the town dynamics. Honestly, as an almost 30-year-old woman talking here who plays this game and feels incredibly limited with feeling like Elliott, Shane, and Harvey are my few mature male marriage options... I would LOVE to have a 'Russell' added to the game! A spiritual yet open-minded man of integrity and non-toxic masculinity who stands with strong women like Shannon... SIGN ME UP!!!
I'm nearly 40 and need Stardew Valley Expanded for Olivia to have someone close enough to my age. She's probably canonically a few years older than real me, but it's better than how much older I am than the girls in vanilla appear to be. Like, at least let me have a chance a Jodi or Robin.

I mean, I know technically all the marriage candidates are supposed to be adults, but... let's be real, for anyone over the age of 27, candidates like Alex, Sam, Haley, and Abigail feel too 'young' and 'not quite mature'. And for me it honestly feels 'icky' for lack of a better term to not have any bigger range of ages. Technically the oldest Bachelors and Bachelorettes are Harvey, Elliott, Emily, Shane, and Leah. But, even then.... that's it? More canonically older marriage options would he great!

There are A LOT of older players who like Stardew Valley and it just seems odd that most of the marriage candidates are in their early 20's and feel like they have no direction with what they want. By the time you hit your late 20's (kind of the minimum presumed age of the farmer since they worked a corporate job for enough time to feel their soul was being crushed), you kind of want to date for maturity and someone who already knows who they are. That's why I was saying I just think there need to be more older marriage candidate options allowed in the regular game without needing mods. It just makes more sense.
@@Dexfan1995 oh i agree. It's one of the reasons why i make mods. Many of the vanilla NPCs feel like kids and i am not particularly fond of Harvey. But even then, 50% of the men are considered "older bachelors".
@user-jh5vu5gd3g Stalking charges and price gouging. If you sell gold ore to him he buys it for 25g but when you buy it back from him he sells it for 400g, and it gets worse after year 2.

Day 1 of asking Nino to play Coral Island 🙏 Even though it seems like a copy of stardew it's more like a love letter, it has its own lore and a good amount of fun mechanics that aren't in stardew. (Also there's an alt girlie)
