F150 Lightning Tire Pressure Monitor System TPMS reset

  • To reset the TPMS and tire locations they need to be retrained. Turn the ignition to on and activate the emergency flashers three times. It will honk. Lower each of the tire pressures, as prompted, until there’s a honk. You’re done.

    This is great info to have, but if you read the manual you'll see that as long as all four tires have the same factory pressure spec, no retraining is needed, the system will auto detect the sensors after you reinstall your wheels after rotation.

      I got this info from the manual and definitely have not read what you’re referring too. I read that this is for different tire pressures in front and back, which I do run higher pressure in the back.

      @@m10stuff I believe that's what @ctuan13 is saying; I've read the same: In other words, run the same psi in all tires, no need for the procedure you shared. Good info, tho, if you run dif pressures front/back like you do - thank you.
