Huskies are soooo verbal?…they are quite the talkers! ❤ I had two very beloved dogs years ago and I could get them to “sing” with me. There’s nothing like howling with your dogs…it’s so much fun!
I don't know of any breed that is more talkative than a husky. I worked on the movie "Togo" with all the sled dogs. Everyday when we came to work the dogs would be talking to each other. In the scene when Defoe won the sled dog race the professional sled dogs were anchored in the middle of mainstreet, they couldn't understand. They kept pulling on their immovable anchors on the sled. If you watch the movie, I was the photographer in this scene. I love huskies.
I absolutely love it when dogs make that whimpering/whining noise (or however you'd describe it) when they are asleep. I can't say that I know if dogs do get bad dreams or not or how they perceive it, but to me that noise is cute. Of course I wouldn't say the same if I knew they got bad dreams and it effected them, but that might just be projecting a human's perception onto a dog.
If anyone EVER needed any explanation for why fur babies are so special, so adorable, so majestic, so loved. . . .you've just given it to them!!!! Thank you for sharing with us!

With all the horrible stuff going on in the world, it's refreshing to watch Key being Key. I love it when he howls, & it's so cute when he talks in his sleep. Angus, my Border Collie mix who passed away about two months ago, used to talk in his sleep a lot, & it was so funny.
