    I own a Squier Jazz Master. I found it plays country better than My Telecaster. A nice warm sound. I just love my Jazz Master. Thank You for your review.

    I love mine and it's only a squire so I didn't take a big hit and I got a great benefit from the cool sounds and I love the shape it fits in the lab really well.

    Mighty fine playing with that slide. Jazzmasters are wonderful guitars. I cut my teeth on my brother's back in 1961, and loved all that it could do. Brightness depends on amp settings.

    Sounding epic as usual Ariel!! Check out Madison Cunningham for another incredible player (not to mention songwriter and singer!) playing a Jazzer with a low tuning. She is AWESOME

    I have a 65 AVRI jazzmaster and O love it to pieces. It's slowly replacing my Strat as my go-to axe.

    If you watch five watt world’s video “A short history: Jazzmaster” you learn the Jazzmaster pickup was designed as just a Strat pickup flattened. Giving it more bass and a fatter sound.

    This is such a nice Jazmaster!☕📻
    We often see these guitars in sunburst finishes, black or white but this blue color makes it special.
    Is that Ice Blue Mettalic or Lake Placid Blue?❄

    do you just ignore all the scraping, or?

    • @TJJJJJJJJJJJ
      @TJJJJJJJJJJJ 3 года назад +6

      You can only hear it because of his lav/lapel microphone 🎤 picking it up.
      Ariel is one of the smoothest slide players around

      @@TJJJJJJJJJJJ It's on his main guitar signal and it's rancid. Any Jazzmaster owner knows about that problem area on the EQ and he's just leaning into it. If that's your thing then enjoy, but don't try to explain it away. Mainly a consequence of that gain staging and a brass slide creating some spiky harmonics that aren't to everyone's taste. Thanks, though.

      @@chaz32 I have 3 jazzmasters and none of them have that issue. Its not from the signal chain at all. The only way string noise is coming through at that level is if your pups are microphonic. You can here the level variance

      I agree that’s the lapel microphone.

      I’d say this is the noisiest I’ve heard him, including other times he had a lapel mike on. It seems a strange choice of guitar for his style of playing. Perhaps he’s going for a style reset?
