I would’ve taken the old alternator apart to see if it could be re-clocked and that would give you an idea of whether you could re-clock the new one or not

I had a 91 lx with a little powerdyne supercharger like this car. The supercharger has an internal belt that will shred or snap off, since they are oil less chargers the temps get realllly hot and also destroy the internal bearings. They are good if you have a stock 5.0 and want a little more kick but it’s probably not doing much for that 347… get a vortech or Paxton if you wanna make some hp

I expect your boos issue may have something to do with the chipped out intake piece just downstream of that supercharger... Some of your boost is likely escaping...
You probably didn't need to remove the smog pump. I had the one lock up on my 87 5.0 and smoke the belt. I was able to buy a shorter belt and route it to totally bypass it and make it to work. Even with the SC there should be a way to route it. Great job Randy!
I had a '95 GT and the smog pump locked up while I was driving down the road, I just bought a shorter belt and bypassed it. Didn't seem to change the way the car ran at all.
That lil clear bottle on the firewall might be an oil catch can??and i also noticed there is no T.F.I. Module on the distributor?? could that possibly be the check engine light is on?? beautiful car nice "SCORE"

That shaking that you were having is for sure a warped rotor I know cause I had the same thing a couple of years ago before I changed my rotors and pads.
You might be running lower psi boost due to having a stroker. I had a 01 GT with a fully built 5.1 stroker and a Vortech V2 Supercharger. Only ran about 4psi. When I called Vortech, they said that with the stroker engine, it was consuming the air the supercharger was producing. I already had a smaller pulley also, Vortech said I needed a bigger head unit to make more boost. Hipe that helps with your low boost number.
Those centrifugal superchargers build boost with RPM. The boost curve for them is an asymptote. It likely has a boost leak somewhere as well at this point. The impeller looks pretty rough, so it likely is not building its full potential to begin with. The small oil catch can on the firewall is for the PCV system and is needed with the supercharger.
Im not gonna pretend i know more than you, because I don't, buuuuut, you found water in the engine by draining from the bottom. You checked the trans and rear diff from the side and top. Are you sure there was no water in there? This looks like a fun car. Id be tempted to gut the interior and replace all the water damage...i think you got a sweet deal.

I don't understand building a performance engine with a smog pump??? There is no emissions testing in Florida. I guess they kept it so the belt would fit.
It’s against EPA regulations to remove emissions equipment. Some of us do follow the laws. Especially since the guy who built it apparently owns a speed shop, he’s got a lot to lose with EPA fines.
You can get a smog pump bypass idler pulley just take the pump off that should come with the shim that you need to replace into their to get things to line up correctly

Always strange to me when people build a powertrain up, bump the power levels....but brakes are stock/near stock (painting the calipers, slotted rotors, better pads only help a little). Same goes for suspension. I have a set of Cobra R brakes on a '69 340 Dart, for instance, and it is nothing insane

It’s really easy to unbolt the alternator and turn it a lot easier than rewiring it.
Simple Re-Cock!!! Rust is hard when you try to grind a layer into the rotors!!!!!!!!!!
Correct! The alternator is 180 degrees inverted in the mount.
Clock the alternator from the front and you won't break any wires inside

Warped rotors randy my ram did the same thing wheel shake changed the rotors and it fixed it

35:09 reservoir for hydraulic clutch?? Foxbody mustangs have a horrible cable system for the clutch and many people convert to hydraulic.

Go over the pcv system or the crankcase ventilation system. Rear main gets busted out when the pressure is excessive and there’s nowhere to go.
Might not see this but try holding the window down button while shutting the door firmly. Might get the window working.
A 905k6 belt is 90.5". Just move decimal point over 1 from the last number. The 95" belt would be 950k6

You don't need the stud you can also buy an idler pulley for the smog pump
