I tried a couple of "inspirations" of Elysium before I tried the real thing. After a couple of decants, I just had to purchase a full bottle. I've only tried a couple of other niche brands. And definitely appreciate some of the compositions and blending. But, Elysium literally brings me joy every time I spray it. That being said I have no idea what Roja to try next. (So many of them sound really, really good)🤷🏾♂️/🤦🏾♂️

I got a decant of Burlington 1819 and I have been smitten since. It's so bright, sparkling and beautiful. Always makes me smile when I smell it. In Malaysia, you can't import fragrances unless you have a permit so I have been on the search for a good 2 years. After years of decants, I finally had the chance to buy it and I am so happy. I can't wait to receive it. It's definitely my niche signature of choice.
The opening of burlington 1819 is truely unmatched, but the drydown is, at least on my skin and to my nose, just too similar to a Tygar or even Turathi Blue. I dont get the experience of complexity that I get from many other Roja creations. I envy those that get to enjoy this scent more. Godspeed mate.
I own most mentioned, but my favorite wasn't on your list, Give Bergdorf Goodman's a try, it's hands down my favorite from the house, and perhaps my all time favorite!??!

I've only tried Danger, as soon as I put it on, I decided to only wear it for special occasions, it is so rich and pleasant. I will definitely eventually save up and try some others. It's only rated #5 for you so there's at least 4 more I need to try.

I am enjoying - and dare I say loving - Parfum De La Nuit 2 at the present moment. It is warm and sensual... my favorite Roja thus far. Sweetie Aoud is lovely. Creation E is not my favorite; there was something about the blend that did not work well with my chemistry mid-way through. However, I did come to appreciate it on 2nd wear, and it has elevated from a "not for me" to a "nice to have". Now, Diaghilev intrigued me so much I just had to try it, secretly hoping to loved it. While I did not love it at first spray it smells nice, and its beauty shines as it unfolds over time. It is magnificent in the dry down, and gorgeous in the end on my skin. I'm looking forward to trying Amber Aoud and A Midsummer Dream. You now have me curious about Oligarch, so I will need to get a sample. I agree that it is futile to try and describe Roja's with words. For me it's about the way it makes me feel, and the overall journey these fragrance's take me on.

I love Oligarch but i also love Terre d’ Hermes i always battle what i should wear 😂 I don‘t find them similar Oligarch is more smother creamier with the citrus and i have the feeling that is more for 30+ and older THD rougher louder with the Grapefruit and also more for mature men but you can easily wear it in a young age when you bring the aura with it But Both are awesome -You think that a younger guy would be better with Oligarch or THD ? -Which one do you like more ? -Do you find Oligarch „better“ then THD? -And do you think that you can pull off Oligarch all year around like THD ?
They are both wonderful, and only slightly similar to me. I find Oligarch to be fruitier than TDH, and therefore sweeter. But definitely masculine. I prefer Oligarch a little more because it is more complex.
October 2024 is my first Roja Dove purchase, Burlington 1819. It smells pretty good. I really like the grapefruit smell. It's still warm here in the Atlanta Ga area. Ill give it some good wear until Thanksgiving. Ill let you know
I can see that a little bit this to me has a little more lemony touch and is refined and ultra smooth. I think more in the line of Givenchy Gentlemen cologne or Guerlain Ideal cologne but better on both accounts
I was curious to check out Roja dove at a store so I went and checked them out. I tested most of his frags and it seems like his fragrances are Middle Eastern and guerlain inspired. They are made with great quality and smell fantastic and now I understand why they are priced so high. I definitely believe they are made with good materials and oils. I will purchase Diaghilev one day as that was one of my favourites
I have not smelled many, but if what I have smelled, I like Danger Parfum the best. I also own Enigma, Elysium, and Scandal in the Parfum Cologne version. They are all great fragrances!

My favorite Roja is Sultanate Of Oman ! That Royal Green Hajari Incense in there is just Magical. An Oud you could potentially wear in all weather. Just Bad Azz ! ( Did Monette name it's custom cornet after Mr.Dove's scents...?? I thought that would be really cool... More likely it's honoring Indian Monarchs. Either way, your sounding good! Keep up the Good Work, Playa... (don't recall if I've mentioned this before? You resemble one of the Harper Brothers... of late 80's-early 90's tradition jazz notoriety... Honors & Respects 😬

One of the best perfume hse. intoductions I've seen. Really enjoyed your presentation and critical comments. Fetish is my favourite RD but absolutely agree its an acquired taste. Very interesting to hear your comments on the cologne vs parfum strength as well. I also buy the 7.5 ml samples. A great way to get a really good idea of the scent before you 'pull the trigger' on a full bottle. Love Amber Aoud but already have Sahraa Oud by Fragrance Du Bois. Ohhh I love Fetish last 24 hours on my skin even after shower I can still smell it, right now it's my favorite Roja from what I've tried, second Danger and third Creation E, I need to try Great Britain, the Aouds, and Sweetie Aoud. Fantastic Review JC, Thanks!!!
They’re both very different so I can’t compare them! They’re both worth owning because they satisfy different needs. If you want fresh, go with Elysium. If you want sweeter and richer, go with Enigma. 😉
First time checking you out and I love your take on the family of Roja. I have a few of them and am waiting for the complete discovery line. But you asked what is our favorites and I have to say hands down it is Perfum de la Nuit 3! OMG this stuff is ultimate sexy in a bottle. If you get a chance to sample it do it. I know for a fact that they are hard to come by so if you stumble across a bottle, buy it no matte what if you like it.

Stumble across Creation-E and Five Delicieuse scents and I have been full steam ahead since. Justin, I just discovered Arabian Oud. I know they have a store in NY. Have you tried any other the fragrances? I love Al Rubban and just found out they have a store here in DC. Going to hit them up today to get my nose on. I would like to see you do a segment on their products if you ever get a chance.
It's little embracing I have been collecting for 4 years now and I don't own any Rojas but I will definitely be purchasing a bottle this year. I just have not decided which yet. Elysium I find from sampling is basically if Aventus and EROLFA had a baby together. Which is kinda cool but idk if I need it. Enigma is really nice but I already own amouage overture man which is basically the same scent DNA, but with a slight twist and I kinda think I prefer Overture man. I am leaning between vetiver and scandal. I am a big lover of vetiver as a note , I have a bunch of vetivers already but I really like it. I am leaning towards original formulation but I also like scandal a lot as well, the scandal parfum-cologne is really vibing with me. I cannot decide

I got to smell most of his stuff from my friend that works at Neiman Marcus. He would bring me small decants of them and the only ones I liked were Elysium and Danger. The rest were a little weird for my taste plus nothing I gave a full wear had good performance except for Danger.
Very classy and expensive house. I love listening to Roja on RUclips talk about fragrances. I have a few of his and my favorite in order are 1)Creation E (both versions) 2) Reckless Pour Homme 3) Fetish Pour Homme 4) Oceania 5) Diaghilev 6) Scandal Parfum colonge 7) Elysium Parfum Colonge (smells great but I get terrible performance with it) 8) Danger Pour homme 9) "O" (only one i really don't like. Too feminine)
Great review and perspective as always sir. I really wish more could appreciate the depth of what you bring to fragrance on your channel. There are two common things that I continually here said about Roja fragrances. 1. I wasn't a fan of it the first time I smelled it. 2. It's just too expensive. Although the nose Knows what it knows, I feel the complexity of his creations are straight artistic. I've had a few ah-haa moments with a later revisit of many of his fragrances. It's almost as if your nose has to catch up to finished product. Even though I don't wear it much, I think Oligarch is the most mind-blowing to me as well. I also like A Midsummer Dream. But he has so many creations across the board, that my top 10 changes on a regular. And I also agree that if you understand and appreciate finer things, you'll pay for it. 👍🏽
Thanks for your very thoughtful comment, Tommy. I totally agree with you. He truly creates refinement and quality through his fragrances, and sometimes we have to mature into them. I can definitely speak to that. Diaghilev was an instant no for me when I first smelled it, but now I find it so intriguing.

My favorite is definitely A Midsummer Dream. Wow is what my nose picks up 😂😂 Madison Pour Homme is supposedly similar with more depth and complexity. Oligarch is really nice. It reminds me of TdH but it's so much more. TdH is minimalist and Oligarch is all the bells and whistles blended in an extremely high level sophisticated way. I bet when you're geeking out, peeling back the layers and dimensions must be a trip
Great list Justin. I really like Burlington as well. My only minor complaint is that in the dry down it starts to have a slight body odor effect due to the cumin. Have you noticed that?

I just came across a partial of Oligarch on a fragrance FB group. I immediately thought of you when I bought it because I’ve heard you mention it a lot in other videos. Watching this video, I didn’t realize it was your favorite (at the time you filmed this review), so I was pleasantly surprised when you name it your number one Roja. Lol. That being said, since you filmed this 7 months ago, where would you rank Oligarch now? It was a blind buy for me, but at the price I got it for, I couldn’t pass it up. Lol. Great review, my man. Great list, Justin. I've tried many of these, and love Danger, Scandal, Oligarch. Admire Creation E, but not my style. I've heard Fetish is Roja's take on Hermes Bel Ami. I love Bel Ami, but haven't tried Fetish. Curious about that one.

One of the best perfume hse. intoductions I've seen. Really enjoyed your presentation and critical comments. Fetish is my favourite RD but absolutely agree its an acquired taste. Very interesting to hear your comments on the cologne vs parfum strength as well. I also buy the 7.5 ml samples. A great way to get a really good idea of the scent before you 'pull the trigger' on a full bottle. Love Amber Aoud but already have Sahraa Oud by Fragrance Du Bois. They’re both very different so I can’t compare them! They’re both worth owning because they satisfy different needs. If you want fresh, go with Elysium. If you want sweeter and richer, go with Enigma. 😉
First time checking you out and I love your take on the family of Roja. I have a few of them and am waiting for the complete discovery line. But you asked what is our favorites and I have to say hands down it is Perfum de la Nuit 3! OMG this stuff is ultimate sexy in a bottle. If you get a chance to sample it do it. I know for a fact that they are hard to come by so if you stumble across a bottle, buy it no matte what if you like it.

Justin, I just discovered Arabian Oud. I know they have a store in NY. Have you tried any other the fragrances? I love Al Rubban and just found out they have a store here in DC. It's little embracing I have been collecting for 4 years now and I don't own any Rojas but I will definitely be purchasing a bottle this year. I just have not decided which yet. Elysium I find from sampling is basically if Aventus and EROLFA had a baby together. Which is kinda cool but idk if I need it. Enigma is really nice but I already own amouage overture man which is basically the same scent DNA, but with a slight twist and I kinda think I prefer Overture man. I am leaning between vetiver and scandal. I am a big lover of vetiver as a note , I have a bunch of vetivers already but I really like it. I am leaning towards original formulation but

I got to smell most of his stuff from my friend that works at Neiman Marcus. He would bring me small decants of them and the only ones I liked were Elysium and Danger. The rest were a little weird for my taste plus nothing I gave a full wear had good performance except for Danger.

There are two common things that I continually here said about Roja fragrances.
1. I wasn't a fan of it the first time I smelled it.
2. It's just too expensive.
Although the nose Knows what it knows, I feel the complexity of his creations are straight artistic.
I've had a few ah-haa moments with a later revisit of many of his fragrances.
It's almost as if your nose has to catch up to finished product.
Even though I don't wear it much, I think Oligarch is the most mind-blowing to me as well. I also like A Midsummer Dream. But he has so many creations across the board, that my top 10 changes on a regular.
And I also agree that if you understand and appreciate finer things, you'll pay for it. 👍🏽

I can definitely speak to that. Diaghilev was an instant no for me when I first smelled it, but now I find it so intriguing.

My favorite is definitely A Midsummer Dream. Wow is what my nose picks up 😂😂 Madison Pour Homme is supposedly similar with more depth and complexity.
Oligarch is really nice. It reminds me of TdH but it's so much more. TdH is minimalist and Oligarch is all the bells and whistles blended in an extremely high level sophisticated way. I bet when you're geeking out, peeling back the layers and dimensions must be a trip

Great list Justin. I really like Burlington as well. My only minor complaint is that in the dry down it starts to have a slight body odor effect due to the cumin. Have you noticed that?
Thank you! Cumin seems to do fine on my skin so I haven't noticed it! But I know many people are sensitive to it.

I just came across a partial of Oligarch on a fragrance FB group. I immediately thought of you when I bought it because I’ve heard you mention it a lot in other videos. Watching this video, I didn’t realize it was your favorite (at the time you filmed this review), so I was pleasantly surprised when you name it your number one Roja. Lol. That being said, since you filmed this 7 months ago, where would you rank Oligarch now? It was a blind buy for me, but at the price I got it for, I couldn’t pass it up. Lol. Great review, my man. Great list, Justin. I've tried many of these, and love Danger, Scandal, Oligarch. Admire Creation E, but not my style. I've heard Fetish is Roja's take on Hermes Bel Ami. I love Bel Ami, but haven't tried Fetish. Curious about that one.
I'd recommend trying Fetish if you can.
Roja also created the amazing scent from Pure Distance “M”. My favorite of the trio of Fetish, Bel Ami, and M. Although, vintage Bel Ami, still rules.

After I saw that harrod exclusive pour home had an atomizer I then thought the cologne was cheap and I no longer what to buy it is something wrong with me ?
