M2 has become one of my go-to brands for early, unique vehicles from the 50's and 60's. They do vehicles no one else does. I'm not into their 'branded' lines, but they do excellent stock and pro-touring style models. They do have their issues, much like Greenlight, but still a good brand to add to a collection.
I have become strictly an M2 enthusiast. The level of detail is 2nd to none. They aren't meant to be played with, only look at. I customize most all my M2 collection. It's easy to disassemble and change wheel/tire combinations. I paint the interiors, dashboards, and undercarriage. Some also have optional rearends to tub and narrow like the real thing. My collection is a good 300 strong. Love these cars.
Agreed. No shortage of janky parts, missing tires/bent wheels, etc. I collect them still precisely because of the unique and oddball models they cast. I'm a sucker for R code Fords and Pontiac GTO Judges. I've got some pretty cool Mopar vehicles as well. Great video! Thanks!
So I bought a few and went to put one together ( my dream car ) so obviously I couldn’t keep it in the package. But it’s missing it’s axles. Didn’t drop anything just opened it and couldn’t find them anywhere.
I really enjoyed the video, I like M2 a lot, but the older American Muscle cars & especially trucks are my favorite vehicles in real life, these scratch the itch for me, both with sponsor stickers & regular paint jobs

Funny enough that people would complain about the cars having logos on them, but that's what attracted me to the brand. Six months ago, I started collecting them mainly cause of their unique look and didn't even realize till recently that alot of the ones I found are either 750 or 250 chase cars along with a hand full of 7k peaces. Either way, I'm mainly a big fan of old-school muscle cars and enjoy collecting as they are. Great video! It's one of your best. I've been collecting M2 for a while and your video was very informative. You do an excellent job explaining the M2 brand. You did get a little wobbly worrying about whether everyone gets it. Geek out and don't worry about it:)
Great brand overview, I kinda feel the same way for the liveries which I tend to stay away from, favouring stock or mild custom pieces. I did buy a few of the SRT & LSx branded ones though as they actually have modern engine swaps, visible on the ones with moving parts. Best example is the khaki variation of that 1st 300C you bought, with a Hellcat engine under the hood, makes a really nice conversation piece. Excellent showcase 👍
Interesting I'll have to keep an eye out for those kind of things although I'm hopeless when it comes to knowing about different engines and such. Thanks.
Thanks, I'm building a 0-scale layout and started collecting the M2 vehicles 6 years ago. My layout is modeled from the 40's to the 70s, and The 1/64th scale vehicles actually worked best with my postwar collection due to selective compression. I look for cars that are stock without advertising and trucks with advertising on them unless it's a specific set with advertising like the Sunoco 55 Nomad and trailer. The 1/64th scale is also compatible with the Lionel diecast semi trucks, construction vehicles, flat car loads, and autoracks. Walmart was a good source before the pandemic, and now I find Hobby Lobby usually has a good selection of several different brands of 1/64th scale diecast vehicles. The auto hauler is neat. I haven't seen it before, but it's on my list now. I like the opening doors and hoods. I use them for static displays, and I like that I can display them alongside my service stations and gas pumps with the doors and hoods opened. I thought that M2 must be modeling them for model railroading because everything about them works perfectly for the most popular era to model in. Perhaps the diecast car collector's should purchase an 0-scale gas station, auto repair, or speed shop to make a diorama to display their cars. Menards has several affordable lighted Texaco, Sinclair, and dealership buildings that would make a good display that fit the era that M2 produces in.
That was an awesome video.. Thank you so much for all of your so real content.. You give myself & also everyone else that joins in such an understanding of each brand & what certain things we all hunt for.. Hope you well.. Thanks again from an Aussie supporter.. Cheers
As a M2 enthusiast I love the brand so much I have now over 460+ I guess since I counted them and I also not only have a ton of 1/64 but I also buy the 1/24 scale cars as of today 42 of them and yesterday I just got 9 more on Mercari I will never buy from Amazon they seem to wreck anything that is a collector car. So far I been lucky on finding 1/64 chases but I been more lucky so far in getting 1/24 scale Chases, so mainly with my M2 collection on 10% of my cars and trucks are open with all my hauler with car sets are sealed and all my 1/24 scale cars are sealed also. With the cars I opened they are still clean and mint but I do buy doubles for the drag racing cars and trucks. Happy Collecting 😎
I like the M2 brand the best of all the various brands. As a HUGE MOPAR fan, I buy every Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, and DeSoto die cast I can get my hands on, regardless of brand, as well as all of the MOPAR hauler sets, trucks, etc. All of them stay in their original packaging, and I store them in Sterilite 28 quart totes, organized by brand and model, boxed or carded, and so on. I'm almost 70 years old, but I still love my toys!
Thanks for the great overview! I don't have any M2, I've been a little scared by the QC, however I can see there's reason to collect them. I do like how they make cars that others don't, and they've got some really interesting themes. Also, couldn't agree more on approaching brands with an eye for what they're trying to do, definitely the best way to appreciate them and decide if they're worth collecting for me.
I collect 3rd gen Camaros, Fox Body Mustangs, Square Bodies, Cudas, and old fat fender Fords and having several variations to choose from is great for me. I'm also a big fan of Moon Eyes stuff, which they also have a lot of as well.
i have a few M2's most of them are pick up trucks and probably will get more different variations. what i like about it is that they are easy and fun to customize or just base/wheel swaps.
One of the great issues with M2 is they are screwed together. That makes it much easier to correct and repair factory issues if needed. But the best thing is easy disassembly for customizing, wheel swaps, and even engine swaps. I always remove the goofy logos and tampos from the cars for more of a realistic daily driver street car look. I did allot of customs of all brands. I disassembled several brands and made silicone molds of many of the pieces as well as carving several hop up parts of my own. I would then cast them from resin and modify any brand. I carved and molded a few styles of boot covers and sun visors and I can make any brand a convertible .A great amount of fun creativity and enjoyment of this hobby...
Very thorough review. M2 definitely has some quality issues. So does Greenlight and Auto World. You have to inspect them really well before you buy. That’s a shame. If Greenlight and Auto World were at a price closer to Hot Wheels then it wouldn’t be such an issue, but at $6.00+ for a single car and $18.00+ for a hauler, the quality control should be much better. 👍👍👍
well m2 and autoworld was highly sought after in my country atleast and people selling it like crazy online and the only collector friendly diecast i could find is greendlight since some model like a ford bronco from the all terrain and glenside police model is roughly 2$ online which is cheaper than buying mainline hotwheels on supermarket or mini market near me
Great insight in to One of my favourite brands, interesting to hear how few castings there are in the range but as you said they have a good number of variations, Gassers are definitely my favourites, Ground Pounders are my least preferred...thanks Karl👍
I only collect the ones that come with the plastic case. I have about 20. I like to stack them on top of each other (3 high), I have them on my bookshelf in my walk-in closet, they tend to fall over sometimes which is very annoying >: XD. I like to show them off to my imaginary guests. I really think the company intends for these to be show pieces instead of play cars (like Hot Wheels). I took a few off their plastic base and they roll terribly. Great for looking at but terrible for playing with. Then again - I think I'm a little old for playing on a printed city play-carpet with my little cars. Plus, there's always Hot Wheels for that. XD
I had a baaaad experience with my first M2 but have since bought more and got more into Greenlight. The vintage wrecker trucks bought me back to M2 in a big way. I like Johnny Lightning but I’m skeptical on the scale.
Always look forward to a new video from you, you have opened my eyes to brands I never ever thought about collecting, thanks love my mini gts and others you just don't find on the pegs
M2 not being sold in UK has made them frustrating for me to buy, I only have a few which I picked up a few years back, the issues put me off collecting them especially not being able to see them in hand before buying, this video makes me think I should try again.
It's a cool brand for what it is but I would definitely be apprehensive if I had to pay import prices for it. I do think their quality has been better recently but clearly deserving of a lot of skepticism.
I just picked up a storage unit with 87 totes of toys a few of them were full of m2 Haulers and probably 500 cars more or less still going through them.
well put sir. I as well had a ruff start with M2, mostly due to QC. but I agree maybe 1 year or even the start of covid it seemed they might have had time to catch Their breath.?.? I collect Their square bodies and Their fox bodies mostly, I did find the new blazer set, They're really nice. anyway great video, thanks.

Thanks for the showcase. My 1st M2 was the Japan Coca-Cola Datsun set but eventually sold it cause I was a loose car guy and the packaging was so nice it will be a shame to open it. Got also some of the Frozen Black Pearl cars. Well pointed out on the issues of the brand that I also stopped for awhile. But after seeing this I will try to look into it again. Thanks for the spark and always love this content that you do.
I have the Datsun Sprite truck and Datsun Diet Coke as well. I mainly collected the M2 for the small JDM line. I have had issues with quality here and there. For example my green O’Reilly exclusive Datsun pickup truck the tires that came with the white center lines on some of the tires were crooked. Fortunately I had extra tires from another car that I was able to use. Funny thing was the defective tires on the truck you could not see until you opened it.
Yeah, I didn't like the feel of the first one I bought either. The ones with metal bases are better but the way the wheels are done will always feel a little off.
Great video!! And thanks for share all this information about M2 brand. I have some one of this brand and I’m happy whit them because I’m a collector of 1/64 Casting and I buy only some of them that I think for me they’re good.
I recently started buying m2, I love muscle cars and I have a mustang in real life so I first got a frost green 69 camaro in 1/24th scale and it has the common tire issue that m2 has, but otherwise it's a pretty solid car, the only other thing is the steering is loose, but I just got a dark green 1/24th scale mach 1 1970 mustang, and it is done much much better, only flaw at all is some paint on the mach 1 shaker piece, but otherwise M2 is a solid brand to go to, they nail the realism, and they even have power by ford on the mustang heads lol
IAM like you, just like other brands, they have 2or3 tiers of quality. Hot wheels use to be all metal chasis, now plastic and you pay Alot more for all metal 🤔. I love this M2 brand. They are small keep in mind. Love your channel 😊
Interesting video. We don't get M2 models here in the UK but I have managed to pick up around six of the two car Auto Lift sets which I really like, including the Studebaker pick up in standard and custom modes. I also have a couple of Chrysler 300s in the Autothentics line and a couple of early Auto Drivers. But the less said about them, the better. I will be checking out more of the Beyond Hot Wheels videos.
@@StingerDiecast for greenlight it all depends on the series some of them are spot on and other are realy bad for m2 they should expand their choices of models cause its always the same cars, brands, models, i think that whould help a lot buy the way i love what you do keep up the good work and sharing the hobby thanx brother 🤙🏻👍🏻💪🏻
I was about to pick up 2 yesterday, they look so cool in the package, upon further inspection, i seen a.lot of imperfections, the mustang had the fog lights in grill crooked, the corvette had a scratch on the door, at $7 a pop I would hope it had better quality, I put them back, loved the cars but if you look close, you see a few mess ups, sorry cant spend that kinda money for a less then a "HW PREMIUM" I thought lets get some better cars then just hot wheels mainlines, but too many imperfections for me, they spend a lotta money on the packaging, maybe they need to rethink where their investing their quality
Being a collector out of the US is Kinda difficult, I have found just one M2 vehicle then only Hotwheels mainline. Maybe I can find more of those here in el Salvador, i'm looking to get one of those me with the shark mouth. I simply love them ❤
Pegs near me get restocked once every 6 months at best every store has employee scalpers so ive resortyed to expanding to M2s dfor about a year now and i love themm so much more detailed
I avoided the M2s for months because of the price. But honestly, my favourite castings are the classics and muscle cars of the past. I have to be cost conscience so I have to cut trucks out. (Including the transport series. Unless it’s a chase.). One thing you didn’t touch on was the circulation numbers, which was a big factor in their appeal for me.
I experienced the same thing you did. I took the M2 car off the car, and thought to myself It is cheaply made, but they do might make nice display car's.
M2 has grown on me. They offer odd cars i like. The like the 1954 mercury are i read about in my dads old popular mechanics magazines. They where old cars to me seeing i was born in 1961 but getting my hands on tbem now is nice. Like greenlight you have to look out for quality problems but in the end you a nice range of odd cars to learn about.
When you attend a yard sale garage sale.. and there are die cast... which do you prefer... separated by year of mfg? By model.. dodge, vw, ford and so on. I know separate hw, mb, corgi, bla bla. Thoughts?
Ahhh....m2....I am not in love with them but I think I would STILL put them ABOVE Greenlight and Johnny lightning as far as quality is concerned. I just started collecting about 7 months ago and I can say that I have quite a few m2 machines in my collection of a little over 200. Probably 30? For the most part I have had decent luck but NOT ONE rolls smoothly. My girlfriend and I have come up with our own diecast grading system and we have given no m2 a perfect score.
Yeah the way the wheels are done isn't really conducive to truly smooth rolling and I agree as bad as their QC can be it's still better than Greenlight.
I don't really collect M2s (i have very few of them) but i followed most of their releases through videos in the last few years so i can form an opinion. Pros: They do 1950s and 60s models nobody else does. Their "Auto-thentics" series offers great overall detail and (usually) multiple opening parts. Their "Model Kits" show off some nice customization options for the castings they include. Their "Auto-Lifts" offer some nice two-car variations and their "Auto-Wheels" offer extra wheels if you want to customize. Their "Auto-Haulers" offer some cool sets as well. Their "Auto Drivers" are the more simple and cheaper ones with some nice details but no opening parts and plastic bases. Cons: Their "Auto Drivers" sets keep bringing the same models over and over with different liveries, casting selection is small and it should be bigger and from what i get is that they were meant to stay on their plinths as they usually don't roll that well. Their branding on the cars may get annoying, but it probably pays up for most of their licencing expenses as well. The general consensus that their cars have "parts falling off and / or missing" can be found in some of their more detailed models, although not to an extent that most people think ; it happerns occasionally, but at least they seem to have improved in that regard in the last couple of years or so. As for not beeing true 1/64 scale, that doesn't bother me much, but may bother people who are strict to scale accuracy. Overall i think it's a good diecast brand, they just need more variety in their models, maybe extend to other European and Japanse cars beyond Beetles and Fairladys, despite the stiff competion. Thanks for making another excellent video!
Yeah more variety is definitely needed. It's cool they do so many significant variations of the castings but especially in the drivers line 25 different castings just isn't enough.
Awesome video !! Thank you for clearing alot of that up !! Love M2'S, and actually you should PLEASE do another m2 video for the Hobby edition & o'reilly exclusive.. I have all the chevy nova's in all m2 editions . Ok maybe missing two of them 😁, my son has an amazing m2 collection as well mostly Mopar but has others as well .. thanks for the info 👍 👍
Wow, that has to be a lot of Novas. I counted 17 in just Auto Drivers alone. I don't really have enough of the exclusive releases to do a video focused on that but maybe that will change with time.
Same here, i just now bought all 3 of the M2 hauler sets at walmart for 7 apiece in the clearance section. They are the Pontiac black hauler with the black Buick 442 red interiors. Awesome sets, been collecting since 68 and just now found out about the m2 lines. Best wishes to you and yours.
@@ooBlAcKOpZoo Yes way brother, we are in a tiny town and the wife used to work at the store for yrs and said she couldn't understand that sale either. Could've been a mistake or an employee doing it to buy later ?? Anyway i'm STILL happy about it !! Best wishes
Spent 1,800 on h.w. and johnny lighting in the last two months, wife IS super hot about it but i'm one happy camper (for the time being anyway).....Best wishes brother and keep enjoying the fine cars :)
IMO M2 cars are more like finished diecast model kits. Meant to be looked at, customized but not touched a lot. The castings are great. A couple of them are the best representations of some real cars in 1/64 scale that I've seen. But if they could improve the quality, these would be much cooler and much more collectible.
Unfortunately, M2 quality has been kind of hit or miss. One really needs to carefully inspect the model in the package before purchasing it to make sure everything looks straight and level. To their credit, they have have come out with some really great castings like the Foose truck and the Moon-Eyes Chevy Bel-Air. Those were as close to "perfect" as one can get -- at least the ones I purchased. As most people have stated, I don't buy many M2's unless something really jumps out to me.
My father collects M2 Machines because he enjoys 40, 50, and 60s vehicles. I own only a hand full of M2s. In my opinion they're good. I am more of an AutoWorld and JohnnyLightning kinda man 🥃👍
Can you swap the wheel and tire combos from the different series or are the model and wheel versions created differently to not allow that? It would be a really fun project to exchange wheels and tires from the different vehicles and series.
Yes most of the time although the axel lengths might be off a little. Also there are drag version of the cars that have really wide rear tires which would only interchange with other drag versions.
You can also use the dremel with a round grinder and shave down the rear wheel wells in seconds to make wide tires fit. I modify most of my cars and do this often, Hope this helps.
I'm kind of disappointed on my m2s, they have potential but paint defects bother me a lot, I have a mustang that is 2 colors, it seems they painted the second over the first color which is ok, but the person that painted it touched it while the paint was still wet, so there are some fingerprint and dots of paint in a lot of places, it's fixable (bad because of the type of paint they use, still fixable tho) but still really disappointing.
I don't trust M2 an awful lot. Gotta really inspect the model first before purchasing. I've seen some terrible quality, and I've seen some good. In my opinion the larger scale M2's are much better than the 1:64 scale models. Great show nonetheless. 🤘😎🤘 Pat
I have some M2 in my collection including 2 or 3 complete sets. In terms of quality, I think they are little better than Greenlight. My favorites are the Bootlegger set and their somewhat recent release of 1976 GMC Desert Fox. I'll keep an eye for that 88 Oldsmobile. Btw, are you sure that dark grey Studebaker truck is from M2? I have one, looks quite similar but that’s a Greenlight release.
If you look at the package you will notice that they are some basic cars and there is cars that have doors open and hoods open too I collect hot wheels for twenty years and then I found m2 s
Which is best M2, Greenlight or AutoWorld? And by that I mean which have less quality issues? I never had my hand in M2 but I have a some AutoWorld and great deal of GL. I pretty much stopped collecting GL. They have to much quality issues like wobbly wheels and paint issues like fingerprints and dust and hair in the the paint. Due to lack of space and disappointment in premium brand like GL and others I pretty much only collect premium lines from HW and MBX now. They cost less and have less issues IMO
M2 greenlight or autoworld? I would have to give #1 to autoworld and a very close second to m2 machines. A DISTANT third place to greenlight. As far as overall quality is concerned.
@@joakimhjelm-svennesen8984 No problem. I pride myself in trying all brands. There are sooo many. I like to have a good collection of them all. Cannot go wrong with mini gt.
@@reptileguy8458 uh yeah! Kobe that brand. I got some 2017 Honda Civic Type R in black and blue and the Mercedes’ Benz Actros truck. I also have DCP Freightliner Cascadia
I like M2 cars put they are not made to be on a hot wheel track hot wheels are made to be on track that’s why the roll really good 👍 M2 I think they have little bit more detail and they make real cars old school cars it’s my favorite
M2s ARE extremely faithful diecast replica vehicles, but the quality falls off somewhat. Marx may have said "If We Make It, It Can TAKE It!" but sadly, M2s are too fragile and can never be accused of solid construction. I bought a '59 VW Dual-Cab Pickup W/Plow, and loved it, but the plow easily broke off, and the plastic chrome is unforgivably fragile as well. And you're hearing this from a caring collector, not an eleven year old play demon.

Yeah definitely a brand with some issues but some cool models too. They really need to bring out more new castings.
Yeah being screwed together is definitely a nice quality of them.
Thanks for the video - was looking for information about this brand and your review was great.
Yeah the screwed together nature is definitely a nice feature and customizing is fun.
I have constant problems with Greenlight releases but Auto World has generally been pretty good in my experience, maybe I've just been lucky.
well m2 and autoworld was highly sought after in my country atleast and people selling it like crazy online and the only collector friendly diecast i could find is greendlight since some model like a ford bronco from the all terrain and glenside police model is roughly 2$ online which is cheaper than buying mainline hotwheels on supermarket or mini market near me
Great insight in to One of my favourite brands, interesting to hear how few castings there are in the range but as you said they have a good number of variations, Gassers are definitely my favourites, Ground Pounders are my least preferred...thanks Karl👍
Yep, took me a while to gain an appreciation for the brand but I definitely get it now.
Great video!! I have a few M2s. Starting to get into them as well.
Nice 👍
Some of my favorite M-2 castings are the 60's Ford and Dodge vans. Also like the 50's automobiles.
Love your videos. I am a Camaro guy but mustangs are really growing on me.
@@carlosoliveira-rc2xt better, Mr killjoy???
I wish I could find that blazer set. Have never seen even a hint of it around here.

I was going to delete my corrections once you edited your comment but you've made that more difficult. No insult intended.
Cheers!
What do you mean by loose car guy
@@onurgultekin5037 it means I like my car models out of the package it's a term that we usually use in collecting.
@@jericosayson359 oh ok thank you
Those Frozen Black Pearl cars look really cool. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks.
Like what you said about the different brands. Have to take them for what they are and what their brand is about.
Yep, there's something to appreciate in everything and nothing is perfect.
Great video very informative I actually just took M2 Machines back to the store Walmart actually I didn’t like the feel !!
Thanks, glad you like them.
great video pros and cons of the m2 machines brand
I recently started buying m2, I love muscle cars and I have a mustang in real life so I first got a frost green 69 camaro in 1/24th scale and it has the common tire issue that m2 has, but otherwise it's a pretty solid car, the only other thing is the steering is loose, but I just got a dark green 1/24th scale mach 1 1970 mustang, and it is done much much better, only flaw at all is some paint on the mach 1 shaker piece, but otherwise M2 is a solid brand to go to, they nail the realism, and they even have power by ford on the mustang heads lol
Im collecting 1:64 since I was 14 (basically HW and MB only) but just recentlly in my 31 birthday one year ago I started with more premiun brands
IAM like you, just like other brands, they have 2or3 tiers of quality. Hot wheels use to be all metal chasis, now plastic and you pay Alot more for all metal 🤔. I love this M2 brand. They are small keep in mind. Love your channel 😊
M2 is a series of self modeling .. you put them on a self and look at them that is it
Interesting video.
Cool, I need to pickup that Studebaker 2 pack. Thanks.
m2 and greenlights always had quality control issues but it depends on the series and categories
I feel like M2 has at least improved a little lately, wish I could say the same about Greenlight.
I simply love them ❤
In Canada the Auto-Driver series are 7.99 and the Auto-thentics Detroit Muscle and whatever other series in the boxes are 9.99
M2 Machines has pretty details, I would like that it was true 1:64
Exactly
Yeah, it would definitely be nice if more were true to scale.
Yeah, I meant to talk about the distribution numbers and chases but forgot even though I had a note about it. Oops.
Awesome casting bro,nice collection bro
90% of mine have opening hood and doors. It's just not as much fun without that.
You always see m2s on the shelf with loose or missing parts. Definitely need better quality control.
Yeah definitely an issue but my experience in the last 6 months has been much better.
I have an autowheels m2 car, it's called the belly tanker and is very rare.
Nice 😊😊😊
Awesome video 👊👍
Thank you
Awesome video !!
@@StingerDiecast lol , yeah it's alot of them .. l like the information you put in your videos !! Please keep up the great work
I like the m2 cars too.Have a few Econolines. But it is really hard to get them here in Germany.
Definitely not a brand I would like to have to import given their history of QC issues.
Haulers have been catching my attention a lot.

Great in-depth M2 video. Yes the same stuff over and over. Tired of the same old stuff!!!!!

Will you do a review on DCP/ Diecast Promotions? Pretty sure there’s a ton of 1/64 truckers out there
Great video..very informative..
Thanks Brian
IMO M2 cars are more like finished diecast model kits. Meant to be looked at, customized but not touched a lot. The castings are great. A couple of them are the best representations of some real cars in 1/64 scale that I've seen. But if they could improve the quality, these would be much cooler and much more collectible.
Hope to see episode on tlv and kyosho soon
I'm definitely planning to do those but it may not be soon given how slowly I've been at releasing these.
does the M2 machines cars have diecast base ?
Chases, you didn't mention them. They do some awesome super chase raws.
Ahh, yeah I don't have any but I did intend to mention them and forgot. Thanks.
QC issues with M2 1/64 can be frustrating.
Very Nice 👍
Thank you
Nice video
Thank you
Unfortunately, M2 quality has been kind of hit or miss.
I recently found a casting with, “GMC” printed upside down on the grille of a ‘98 Sierra, how does that even happen? 🤣
My father collects M2 Machines because he enjoys 40, 50, and 60s vehicles. I own only a hand full of M2s. In my opinion they're good. I am more of an AutoWorld and JohnnyLightning kinda man 🥃👍
Not sure anyone does that era of cars better.
I just added a Squarebody Sierra to my collection. Can't get the stupid screws out 🤬😭
They look good but quality is meh!
Please show the bottom's, plastic or cast?, or both?🤔
I'm kind of disappointed on my m2s, they have potential but paint defects bother me a lot, I have a mustang that is 2 colors, it seems they painted the second over the first color which is ok, but the person that painted it touched it while the paint was still wet, so there are some fingerprint and dots of paint in a lot of places, it's fixable (bad because of the type of paint they use, still fixable tho) but still really disappointing.
I don't trust M2 an awful lot. Gotta really inspect the model first before purchasing. I've seen some terrible quality, and I've seen some good. In my opinion the larger scale M2's are much better than the 1:64 scale models. Great show nonetheless.
🤘😎🤘 Pat
Yep, I still try to check things if I can but I do think quality has maybe gotten better recently.
Yep 100% M2, Greenlight doesn't do that casting.
@@StingerDiecast Yup, I checked. You're right, it was M2 indeed.
Is there a guide to find out what scale the M2s are?
Not that I know of.
If you look at the package you will notice that they are some basic cars and there is cars that have doors open and hoods open too I collect hot wheels for twenty years and then I found m2 s
13:37 - *That's what she said!*
Are they really not all true 1:64 when they put that on the label?
Nice diecast...
Thanks!
They have some qc issues but its a solid brand otherwise

They still need better QA/QC on them. I do not care that they are doing unique models, do a better job on the build and the wheels.

And you're hearing this from a caring collector, not an eleven year old play demon.
sell those M2 bases that you currently toss, I buy them all the time.
