This game keeps slowly spiralling into new heights of madness 😂😅 Love your bewildered reactions every time they pull out another wild situation or line of dialogue Adding this AFTER getting to the part with the creepy concernt: Wow, I think the fact that the whole time while Niko was lunging at Caleb and attacking him we never got any description of Caleb's reaction to it except that he dodges it made the reveal of his creepy face so much better (Btw, after the whole spider sense thing in that other game, I was fully believing you when you said something was off with Caleb 😂 and with that confirmation here, nobody should ever doubt your instincts again) Niko's route was a whole zombie apocalypse It's kind of funny how Jax and Tyler were just normal dudes with normal issues And then there's Niko the world saviour and Caleb the boy possessed by a ghost 😅
Niko/Eleventh Hour Time bayyyyybeyyyy💖 Let's friggin go!!! ❤❤❤ I've been waiting for this one (this LP has become my favourite show ^^) and it was as much of a blast to watch as expected \o/ 6:14: BLERDY WHAT :D I'm deceased- I have now passed on, left this mortal plane and shall henceforth be operating from the Hereafter, because this KILLED ME. :DDD Also much as I've been babbling about the LIs till now I gotta mention just how amazing Hannah is, because she really shines in this chapter. What we saw most at the beginning is her being painfully relatable, competent at her job, mature as a person and adaptable but the more time goes by, the more I'm thinking dang this girl is skilled at a lot of things, even discounting timeloop knowledge. Talk about knowing how to thrive under pressure. And *then* there's the probable effect of the loops on her personnality, and wow Chapter 3 Hannah is on a MISSION. She's taking no sh*t and no prisoners (10:23: 33:39: :-O One of these popstars please pass her a mic so she can drop it) and it was so very rewarding to watch her dodging the hurdles of the past loops so completely, knowing what we know as the audience. The stakes had to be WAY bigger to impede her this time around. 17:03: Even with... everything going on with Caleb, this part, and the immediate joy and relief he manifests everytime we get him away from his mom, always makes me sad. Maybe it's also hindsight speaking, having finished the game and knowing what his part in all of this is for certain, but it's pretty rough. Not that I'd wanna go all Caleb apologist either (especially after you humored me so much re: Tyler ^^), but I'm slowly coming to realize that I may be a teeny tiiiiiny bit of a bleeding heart. Perhaps. Maybe. Possibly. (I just want those boys to be happy, or at least just a smidge happier than their current individual hellscapes allow, is that too much to ask??) On a related note, the small hints at a possible Jax/Tyler reconciliation we got in this route were everything to me. Come for the boy band romance, stay for the unexpected hurt/comfort happening behind the scenes, apparently. :D 42:42: Taking in that Niko's story is a masterwork in perspective. Like... *we* trust Niko because we've seen the concert go down already, and know his assumption about there being more to it than meets the eye is fully correct. *Hannah* trusts Niko because he's been honest with her and her instincts tell her that he's sincere. But from the outside looking in... This is a young dude with paranoid tendencies and an interest in conspiracies, under stress (big live coming up!), who's brought a backpack full of weapons to an event supposed to host thousands, and has now confirmed he was carrying. Optics aren't ideal. Oo Speaking of the writing being way too clever... 30:37: Omg, I JUST caught that. "Replay Boys" is one thing, but knowing Sovereign Smith's whole deal and final goal... That song title is _too_ apt, and I'd entirely missed it while playing. :) 1:06:31: I'm still incredibly unsettled by how _intense_ this whole scene is. The situation and some of the dialogue and the way Hannah folds may be a lil bit extra, sure, and once again I'm not sure I can properly express what has me so rattled, but... some of Sovereign's speech here comes back to what you were discussing, plus Niko's points, at around 36:17. And again, in spite of all the wild events happening in-story, I think there's something pretty real in his speech regarding the fan experience. It's true that for certain people, being a fan is more than a hobby, a simple appreciation or need to share an experience with like-minded people. Some find comfort, strength, fulfilment or meaning in being a fan, or a reprieve from what they feel they lack. Some people make their artist of choice their entire focus, some take their devotion to wild extremes. Sovereign Smith's power here is both the hold of a supernatural entity possessing a person AND that of an idol personally acknowledging a superfan and building a rapport with them - both liable to make the recipient powerless and emotionnally vulnerable. And having him act so warm and personable towards Hannah, tender almost, praising her and commiserating and recognizing her efforts, seeming to pay attention to who she is _as a person_ felt so insidious and dangerous to me. Not sure whether I'm even making sense with this, hope you get it, but all of this to say the vibes weren't good AT ALL and this part by itself sent my fight-or-flight into overdrive. As goofy and unthreatening an idea as "80's popstar ghost" may seem at first glance, this interaction definitely sold me on its potential to be terrifying. Bit of a dismal note, but on the whole this was hilarious as always! Maybe even more than the last... Thanks for the upload as well as powering through, because it took me *this* long to realize that not only did you play the whole thing in one go, but that it wasn't the middle of the day as I'd first assumed but fully at night. On a workday (?). What a legend. Thank you for sacrificing your sleeep for the sake of entertainment!
YAAAS!! I was waiting for this!! Edited for checkpoint: Jax 100% least sus, defo fav boy Edit 2: Jax HAS to know something!! Another reason he's best boy Edit 3: 54:03 : 😱 THOSE EYES!!
