Hi!, a quick question, the close mouth plate from the suicide squad fits the BvS figure?, I ask this because my BvS Batman didn't came with that close mouth, instead it came with two angry face plates and I found someone is selling the close mouth plate but it's from the suicide squad Batman, I just want to be sure before I pay for it.

It was definitely a cash grab/ promo. They already had had the Batman body built so just add a paint app. Hot Toys does this sort of thing a lot with Iron Man, Batman, and Joker but their figures are just so badass!!

I think the ss batman cape is better for posing but currently I'm seeing a bvs batman on ebay and an ss one but it's more expensive and I dunno witch one to pick.
I would say it really depends.. the are almost the exact same even down the the accessories.. unless you are grabbing the exclusive with the tech cowl. And their bases are different, but you always have the option of custom capes too. I’ve debated one for both of these figures 😎🤘🏻🦇

Cape a lil to big IMO, the bendy wire makes it almost impossible to pose the figure with cape draping at the back like the regular BVS version. So yea it sucks that i missed out on the BVS version so now i own the SS version, nonetheless is an okay figure. Cape is annoying to deal with.
MrScOut I can agree with you after owning the figure for some time now.. the cape is almost to soft looking as well. The SS version is too wild and the BvS is just to flat and stiff... we need something in the middle lol... but there is an awesome account on instagram and the guy does custom capes. They are beautiful!!! I believe his name is Unrealtoys

I'm with you on the variants topic. At the end of the day, they are a business and have to focus on where the money is to be made. I can see the other side of the argument though. I'm a huge fan of the spaghetti westerns and The Sopranos. A Clint Eastwood Blondie/Manco and a Tony Soprano would be my grail figures, but I'm realistic enough to realize that these are cult figures and cannot compete with the likes of Batman and the Black Widow.
I just got my SS Harley Quinn. She has a tiny tear in her stockings. It doesn't bother me though because she's mostly 'untidy' in the film. I've also ordered a SS Batman - I really like the look of the figure with the breathing apparatus: very demonic looking and menacing.
You know bro you could probably find some customs of those figures out there. Some of the smaller companies like Blitzway tend to make some really awesome figures you would never expect. But I agree that now a days Hot Toys doesn’t really take a chance with their figure lines, they just milk the cash cows.
But Harley is truly a great figure! And the SS Batman is definitely an upgrade over the BvS version!!
Wow! The upgrades on this figure, whilst subtle, make a hell of a difference. The lighter grey of the suit contrasts so much better now with the bat symbol, cowl, gauntlets and boots. The scratches on the symbol show up more. The cowl is now that bit further away from the symbol. The material is less shiny and feels less 'plasticy' to touch. The shoulders, biceps, and pecks are a little bigger and more rounded...... I could go on.
Yeah, I've seen some of those custom Blondie's out there. They are great, though a bit too pricey for me. If anyone's going to do it officially - as you said - it will most likely be Blitzway. They do terrific work with the cult figures.
Lol I fully agree!! It feels like everything on the figure was just tweaked a little closer to perfection! My only gripe would be the extended base pole, I have extra lower ones on hand but for someone that doesn’t you’re kind of stuck posing him in a gliding position to include the base and have your figure secured. I know the cape is very large but I think it’s pretty badass and fun.
I think Blitzway is killing it with what they are producing! The Ghost Buster set would be sick to own!!!
I managed to contort the base pole so I've got him in a grounded dramatic pose. The cape is great: it gives you so many options and almost always looks superb. The cape on the BvS used to bother me a lot.
I watched BvS again this evening. It's one of those films that gets better each time that I watch it. In the years to come, I think that it will gain greater appreciation and be considered one of the best Superhero films. It certainly has a lot more depth than most of its contemporaries.
I think the BvS cape is just to flat and thin.. I'm not sure if you are on Instagram but I follow a page Unreal Toys, and he makes some very awesome capes!!!
And i fully agree. I think BvS will age very well, right now everyone is just caught up in this whirlwind of shitting on DC because Marvel had created a formula that worked well for them.
Oh and by the way, check out onesixthkit.com , it is where i picked up my custom 1/6 Affleck head. I had just noticed a Clint Eastwood head from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly and immediately thought of you!!

oh man that is a badass figure... excellent unboxing/review... i agree with u about the variants... i dunno why everyone gets so bent out of shape about them... especially when they have no intentions of even buying them... i think that some people think that the variants somehow cheapin their "original" piece... or makes it less rare... but i dont think thats the case at all... i guess some people just really like to complain lol... keep up the great work bro
