    Hated duck bill, this looks more premium and dates existing models so will encourage customers to upgrade.
    Great move to increase demand and maybe lower build cost also in current financial climate.
    Just looks so much better and reminds me of when they got rid of oval black grill on pre 2016 model so.
    2016 face lift saved model s.
    Never liked 3 or y front end and hated rear end of 3 so that will be the real challenge for designers with that trunk shut line.
    Have seen better picture of dash if real with small drivers screen.
    Overall a huge win and if back end improves and they change base colour from just white would hugely increase the appeal of this car.

    I take an educated guess: the display will not be motorized. The new Model 3 is only partly designed to look fresh, it is foremost designed to be much cheaper to manufacture.

    The panel misalignment of the side repeater indent - from front fender to door - indicates that this is a real production car built in the Fremont factory.

    I think the model 3 still looks good but after 5 years it starts to go a little stale and there's alot more competition now than 5 years ago so yeah it's time for a make over....I plan on getting a model 3 but i'll wait to see the new version😅

    They can add a small HUD display just for speed, battery, and basic data, just not as big as the Model S/X. It's a good move by Tesla to upscale the 3/Y. This new model might just be a luxury or Plaid model at first. I bet they will remove the stalks and use a similar steering wheel like the S/X. The question is, where are they going to build it? Freemont or Texas?

    • @JohnnyZenith
      @JohnnyZenith Год назад +1

      No HUD, no ultrasonics, not even any cool light patterning or internal mood lighting. I'd much rather have an id7 GTX.

  • @DanFrederiksen
    @DanFrederiksen Год назад +1

    The black I didn't really like but the white mockups look nice so remains to be seen. I think a plaid 3 could be great if the battery can deliver more. My performance is pretty fast as is but a plaid 3 in circulation will strike fear in ICE cars and that's a good thing :) they need to be paranoid about every 3 that comes their way.

    I've always hated the front end of the Model 3 and Y. If that's the real new front it's finally a good looking car.
    I open my sunroof all the time. It's one of several reasons I would never trade for a new Model S.

    what i want to see on a new model 3
    gage cluster
    hatchback
    a tri-motor plaid variant would be amazing for a car of this size, but I don't think they would do that
    don't give it air suspension or more expensive upgrades, keep it simple
    keep the stalks, keep the round steering wheel or at least give your the option for a normal wheel
    a cheaper base price, with a longer minimum range
    that's pretty much it of everything that Tesla would actually possibly do. as far as every problem I have with the Model 3, I would rather have physical dials for more things and less completely focused on the screen, but I know they would never do that unfortunately

      4680 are to soon to be in Model 3 IMO.
      Front/rear castings are a maybe. But I don't think quite yet either. Really depends how big the front/rear changes are internally. Will definitely check when I get my hands on one!

  • @Radium3D

    Only reason for that screen over the wheel would be if they plan to phase out the S/X? I hope not, but it is a possibility I wonder?

    • @TeslaInventory
      @TeslaInventory  Год назад +1

      I mean S/X sales are down slightly. If economy slumps to much people will be more hesitant to buy a more expensive vehicle. I can see both sides of the argument.

    i want 2 new things for the new model 3. a gage cluster, and a hatch back. i also really hope they keep the stalks, operating the turn signals and wipers ont he new s and x is just a pain and will never be as easy to use in general as a stalk. simple? sure. easy to use muscle memory to generate large movements to accomplish a simple task without missing? absolutely not. i really hope they learned from their mistakes with the model s and x and offer stalks, but these images dont look promising... they can create clean looking stalks that dont look ugly, but completely removing them for a "clean look" is so dumb. it looks cool for the first week or month, then it becomes annoying because thigns that work, make you enjoy using it long term. things that look good but dont work well, make you enjoy using them in the short term, then you hate it if you're actually honest with yourself and realize how much better having it the other way would have been
