I'm using flexfilm great film anywhere from dyed to carbon to ceramic films rebox or not this film has not done me wrong and the prices are affordable how do you feel about them
jesus melendez just my two cents, but I tint on the side, actually have a business, I also use Flexfilm, I personally love it, I used Llumar before, but was having to get it from a retailer and was cutting into my profits, so I contacted Flexfilm and even after talking to Ralph and telling him upfront I would never be his biggest customer, he has spent several hours on the phone with me discussing anything from business, life, and films. He is a great guy, and I love his products, but his customer service team is impeccable. Customer service is just as important as the film in my opinion. And thanks for another great video Patrick
I use Viper style, pure, pure ir, and ceramic. The film use to be made by Eastman which was there shade line. Loved the color, it matched factory tint on the dot. The new stuff is ok, it's out of Korea it has a crystal/blue color now which some customers don't like. Style is there low line and is a little hard to work with. Everything else has nice feel, adhesive, and shrinks very well and the Clearcoat/scratch guard isn't bad at all. Let me know if you have ever used any viper lines and what are your thoughts!
I’m in New York looking to work for another company at the moment, right now I’m currently in the glaziers union working for a glass company that barely works with film installations. I was hired as a pro film installer, promising me I would be busy (sold me lies and blew smoke up my-) . I’m either looking to work with another company, or just start up my own business but I could use some advice on how to go about starting. I’ve heard it’s tricky setting up business accounts with film companies for wholesale pricing. Any recommendations ? Thanks
Hello Patrick,I'm about to get 3M Obsidian series in 40% tint for my car in an 3Mauthorized dealer?my question is it a excellent, good or bad film. I am looking for a black chrome tint I have been in to many shops looking for this particular shade.please inform me of this product to go with or another... I had medium mirrored llumar tint before on my cars and they where one of the best but shop closed.
The guy is correct. Many guys in the tint installation business adjust their prices based upon what the think you can afford and what kind of car you drive.
Great video man! Pretty interesting. I'm using XSun Window films for the last 6 years on my flatglass projects and have had great results. I believe they get the product from Eastman not sure ofcourse because they won't tell you.
I am teaching myself how to tint and started off with a $50 100 foot roll of film off of Amazon but it doesn't shrink well and is a no go on large curved windows. Is there somewhere where I could buy a 20 to 50 foot roll of the Lumar to practice with?
I use groshield just because there right across the street from me. good film also have had no warranty issues the 5 years I've used it. it lousisana heat to
+1BadAlumaduty 17 some states have what's known as a 3rd party law which means the ticket can actually get back to the shop and not the driver or both. Every shop I've seen usually has a sign that states "not liable for tickets if tint installed is lower than the legal recommended amount" something like that. Usually takes care of it.
Correct me if im wrong Suntek is a subsidiary of Eastman Chemical Company which is actually outstanding for the quality it provides and the price you are buying it.I am not saying Suntek = Lummar or that one of them is better than the other but since they both are from eastman company that should say something about their quality
Great info man. Been watching to learn more about the trade. What brand do you recommend for the beginner? I’ve done some research and found only a handful of websites for film other than the obvious amazon. I’d like your input. Keep up the good work.
How did you get exp. To start your own business? Did it take alot of practice? There are no tint shops in my area and would be a good side job for me if i could get some exp.
Most every tint installer who buys tint knows Global is a Garware product, Garware is even mentioned on their website and they'll tell you that because it's a fantastic manufacturer. You make it sound like some dirty little secret that Global has, everybody who uses Global loves it and Garware is a great product. I use another company that is also a Garware product (I can't buy Global because of region, but have used their product) and i love the film. I actually seek out Garware manufactured products because i've had good luck with them. The rest seem like you're buying and paying for name recognition. Just my 2 cents. Love your vids bro, the panel and seal pulls are great. You don't do top load anymore at all?
I do still top load, its situational weather I top load or bottom load. I prefer to bottom load above all else. If the panel is difficult to take apart or I feel that I may end up doing damage to the car then I'll top load. Basically which ever process either top load or bottom load I choose the one that will take me less time honestly. If it takes me more than 5 minutes to pull a seal or take a panel off then at that point top loading would be quicker and that's what I'll go with. At the end of the day I choose the most time efficient process. Less time = more cars = more money at the end of the day.
@@KenworthDude15 good point but i think it is because they only offer there cheap 1 ply crap at autoparts stores lol and on amazon. maybe there film is a higher quality on there website?
Hey Bro Cool Video!!! i Using Sun-Gard from Madico i have mi business in El Salvador Central America, so is litle difficult to find Lumar what do you Think about Sung-gard ??? Because mi provider say the warranty is for 4 years. Please can you comment on this?
Hey man great video i use suntek and it’s been doing great so far . I own and operate a small shop in Florida i don’t know if you do this but i would like to pick your brain a little just in a couple little stuff I’m working on and could use some advice on maybe a different way to do it if there’s a way i could get in contact with you let me know . Thanks in advance
Good informative video. Butttt, need to update! I’ve always used Eastman, from Lumar to Suntek window films! However, I was recently talked into tryin another brand and I’m proud to announce I am now a proud customer of Xpel Window Films!! They are top of the world right now with window tint! I’ll be honest, I wanted to call their bluff!!! But after a few cars I really started to realize a huge difference. Then after goin BACK to using Suntek film, I then realized what I was missing out on! So long story short (in my opinion ) Xpel Has gotten to the top of the window film industry over the last year and a half!! They’re also constantly upgrading their films as well to make them “THE BEST”!
It is not the truth about window films. 3M Company is a leading manufacturer of window films. He acts like dip dyed window films are the only window films when in fact there are superior films on the market (ceramic and nano carbon as examples). He obviously has not talked to enough people and should be careful about saying things with confidence that are not true.
What do you think about scorpion carbon series film
Very informative, Thanks. What's the water and baby soap mix ratio.
How do you feel about Johnson films? And do you know who makes that?

How good is madico wincos vs competition, in terms of performance, looks and reliability ?

I was using ASWF, and very recently switched over to Rayno that has a Nano Carbon Ceramic Hybrid. Thoughts?

SLEEPING ON LEXEN FILMS HAHA

What about this brand called "the black box" comparing pears to pears and apples to apples, how good are their films compared to competition ?
Hey men what u think about Solargard? i been using galaxy at my shop for 2 year . im wann try diffent film
You said you are a instructor? Where do you have classes and do you have a website?
You can email me at windowtintingbusiness@gmail.com and we can definitely discuss options. Subject line Training.

Susan Vue
That's the best it happened to you. Once you move to a better shrinking film. It will only get easier
So what about 3M, which is probably the biggest and most well known name in window film?
They get their film made from a company called SunTech
