Shima Gaijin track sizes vary, like the one here in San Diego, California, it measures 333 meters but Olympic sized tracks measure 250 meters like the one in Carson City in Los Angeles

Carson City? I raced on the one at the University of Cal State Dominguez Hills, it was 333m...at least it was in 1986! ha, getting old.

How does this work ? ANybody can explain in short ?

This is raced over 100 laps. Every 10 laps there is a sprint to see who can score points. 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd gets 3, 3rd gets 2 and 4th gets 1. Any riders who gain a lap gets 20 points.
