She broke it again. The record for now is 82.98 thrown by Anita in 28 August 2016, Warsaw, Poland in an event for Kamila Skomilowska memorial. But it's not Olympics.
@@0NeeN0 I honestly have no idea who she is due to unpopular sport she been with but I gotta admire her hard working and perseverance. And the rest of the athletes in this category. The rest of them ancient olympic sports too. Just because it's unpopular doesn't make it less difficult.

Anyways, I read in a Ripley’s Believe It Or Not book that an official actually got stabbed in the foot by a javelin once. This wasn’t during the Olympics but you can imagine how disturbing that was to see!

But I am glad it is still in the same stadium as the other competition. Because of the GRASS hammerthrow is often desperate of the other discipline in stadium or even (if it is not the Olympics or big competition) an other location, while the rest are all in one. 5:55 She was throwing with the throwing glove of deceased Kamila Skolimowska, first ever women's hammer throw olympic champion (2000 Sydney). She died in a training camp. Anita throws with her glove all the time. That's why she's got 2 olympic golds now (Tatiana Lysenko will be disqualified, she was using doping in London, it's confirmed, now they are trying to give gold to Anita as soon as possible, probably on Skolimowska's memorial in Warsaw).

+Bartek Kącikowski its all still in work, Anita's team got an info from Russia that Lysenko was probably on doping in London. This can unfortunately take much more time to disqualify Lysenko.

Anita is an amazing athlete. A friend who was a junior world windsurfing champion once told me: "there are two times of champions, the first just wants to be number one and if nobody threatens to take it away they don't push themselves. The second just wants to be the best they can be, they don't care where others are in relation to them. I want to be that later one"
Anita is that later one. She has nobody to compete with but herself and still she beats her world records on and on and on.

The Polish presenter of the medals is Irena Szewinska (r.i.p.). Szewinska is a seven medal holder in the sprints. She at one time held the world records in the 100m, 200m and the 400 m.

Catharsissed even during evening sessions there was a lot of empty places. I saw some events at night on tv and it was dissapointing. But the prices of the tickets were brutal for Brazilians
There still was a big crowd around them, Obviously all those seats won't be full for one event. My brother got to go and he said it was a really loud and big.

Brazilian crowds are always loud and noisy, but considering that this is an event that happen only once every four years.... that´s still dissapointing

I am a college track and field athlete, I have competed against a handful of guys that can "take the first attempt easy" and still win. It is amazing that someone at that level can do that. Nice job!

Her successful struggle to remain on the podium was nothing short of inspirational, especially when you consider the gold and silver positions were locked up tight, leaving only bronze for the remaining competitors to shoot for.

When Anita throws, there are actually two women holding the hammer. Two olympic champions. No wonder no one can compete with her. Skolimowska's glove makes her unbeatable.
I remember being really good in this event on Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics. I think I was something around 400th in the world at one time.
