Very fun touring with you both. I don’t know much about HP either but loved you showing the connection to Shambles. Love your humor ( miss it on AV and Mapperton) Thanks for the city and water views 👋🏻. Take care til next time 👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼❤️👏🏼
York is superb! And, Stephen, whilst Notre Dame is magnificent, it has nothing on York Minister! Happy to have found your channel (thanks to @AmericanViscountess, from a fellow Yank!) 🙂
York is so interesting. The history of the shops and the stories they could tell if they could talk would be something else I think !! Lots of wonderful places to see there. Thanks Stephen and Claire👏🏻💕
OMG!!!!!! 💛💛💛 I just LOVE this video... you did an awesome job!!! York looks amazing... wish we had cities like this across the pond! Thank you so much for sharing... you are so FUN to watch!!! 😂😂😂
Absolutely enjoy the York tour. Big fan of Harry Potter & was surprised to know the Diagonal Alley was inspired by the Shambles. Please do more medieval city tours.
You did a great job finding the Shambles so empty! We used to live in York, it's such a great city 😊
Thanks for watching 😊 We were definitely lucky too get the Shambles to ourselves, the early morning was worth it 😂

I loved this video 😂 Good combination og fact and humor!
Thank you so much, we really enjoyed sharing this one with you all :)
The overhang tidbit is very interesting but can you imagine the odors?!!! Oh my goodness that crooked little house. Reminds me of Southampton.
It would have been a real stench in medieval times, that's for sure. Thank you for watching!

What is the beautiful children's choir music during York Minster Cath?
That was all done in a day?
Hi, yes all in one day, we got there super early to avoid the crowds. Thanks for watching
🤣😂❤
Shambles wasn't the inspiration for Diagon Alley, That was a street in Edinburgh.. JKR never came to York
It is OK but, Canterbury, Sandwich....York is a pauper by comparison
Canterbury is definitely on the list of places to visit
@@StephenandClaire That,s debatable!
