@johnvancock i've been practicing krav maga for 6 months and I am going to take the yellow belt in some weeks, I practice in Academia Active(Brazil) and I'm member of the south american federation of Krav Maga Sorry if my english isn't perfect
Great clip. Perfect song for it too... Oh and for you ignorant people who think not to ask I've researched Roy's syllabus. His level 1-3 is purely Krav Maga and from level 4 on he teaches Israeli Jiu Jitsu.. I'm not entirely sure what that is but I'm assuming given his videos that its joint manipulation, throws, locks etc. Can be an excellent companion to a trained krav maga practitioner.

ok, ive taken krav maga for about a month, and im 18 so i can legally do different techniques such as arm bar and choke hold...my question is, does krav maga in general, teach you nut crunchers like Roy displayed? ive participated in taekwondo for 5-6 years, recieved my black belt, and judo for 5 years purple belt and taught no nut crunching! i understand taekwondo and judo, nut crunching is prohibited... so does krav maga teach nut crunching lol?
for the record, never said it was a 'sport' i don't consider it a sport! its a form of martial art, and self defense used in actual combat when needed! so martial arts is not classified as a sport..for one, i take these classes for obvious reasons, such as self defense...not for show off, i have no desire for participating in tournaments. Ive only listed them to show my true curiosity..but thank you for the reply :)
Sports have rules n the street dont. if i had to protect myself with my tkd then I would use a front or round kick to the groin, eye poke, hair pulling, and IF by chase a spin hook kick to finish the guy. Know the weapons in the art and use them accordently.

Você não aprende a atacar no Krav Magá, você sempre parte do princípio de estar sendo atacado e aprende a repelir o ataque. E se fosse enganação, não seria utilizada pelas forças de elite mais eficazes do mundo, incluindo aí o BOPE, a SWAT e o FBI. Jiu Jitsu é pra lazer, Krav Maga é pra vida real.
Krav maga é enganação meu povo... so funciona em coreografias ensaidas... onde estao os lutadores de krav maga no UFC e ouros campeonatos mundo afora ganhando milhoes...? nao gostam de dinheiro... faça como o exercito americano e treinem com o jiu jitsu brasileiro que funciona na vida real e em lutas. ate que as coreografias emprisionam os leigos... mas o inimigo nao reage...

Krav Maga is primarily a self defensive martial art, so yeah it does..
