Hi, some of my Silhouette shades use 8 AA batteries (12v) and some use 12 AA batteries (18v). Do the power supplys you mention work with both of these or are there separate ones for the 12V units?

Looks great! Can you add more than one module to a home system? Installing a large home with at least 30 controlled shades. Looks like the wire is simple 18/2? Can you use CAT5 or better? CAT5 is 24ga and CAT6 is 22ga. Either I would think would work to carry DC voltage to each shade.

      Hi Paul!
Thanks so much for your comment. In regards to your question, yes you can use as many large DC power supply panels from Hunter Douglas as you want. For example, 40 shades requires 3 large DC power supply units. Each unit can power up to 16 shades.
And yes, any of those wiring option can be used on low voltage motors!

About how much does the large DC power supply cost? Also, what type of wires are run through the wall when using this DC power supply? Thanks for the video!
