Thanks for these videos Joe, they are a great help! Would it be possible for you to consider doing a few videos on AC and DC motors/generators... Ie Series/shunt/compound... Synchronous/induction Squirrel came, wound rotor, capacitor start, shaded pole? It seems a big subject, their characteristics, wiring method. Understanding and calculating of slip/synchronous speed/torque. I reckon your explanation of these subjects would be for best on RUclips!
In a power grid, does the amount of electricity produced by power plants depend on the real-time demand for electricity? It seems counterintuitive because power plants like those with diesel engines run constantly, spinning a coil within a magnet. This process seems independent of how much electricity people are using at a specific time. Here's what I'm still curious about: Does the engine in a power plant (e.g., diesel engine) constantly use the same amount of fuel regardless of electricity usage? If no one is using electricity, wouldn't there be wasted energy just building up in the system from the constant rotation? How does the grid manage the balance between a power plant's constant generation and the varying demands of electricity users?
I'm actually temped to do that! I deliver this same material but one can sometimes forget little things. I also loved the animation of the coil and sliprings: the coils could clearly be seen attached to the different rings (although the function of the brushes wasn't mentioned).
Thanks Joe. I like the way you build the theory up in small steps. Looking forward to the next installment
Thanks so much for the feedback it's much appreciated. Next video is in progress!
You’re amazing Mr Robinson...I also love GSH Electrical and efixx😀
Wow that was fantastic 👀

What a great and simple way to explain this. Fantastic mate. Thank you
My pleasure! 😊
Very helpful 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks George, good lad staying tuned.
Tremendous job sir... Phenomenal explaination
Thanks!
Nice 1 Joe 👍
Cheers Alan.
Hi excellent video, your efforts are greatly appreciated! Where can I find the worksheet you mention in the video, please?
Great vid👍😊
Thanks Luis. Stay tuned for more!
Good day sir, How to calculate load capacity of a generator have a 850kva and 440v 3phase. Thank you sir...
What makes the armature (looped wire) spin? Are the magnets causing it to spin, and if so, why does it spin clockwise?
The rotation of the loop is caused by an external force, like a diesel generator.
@@JoeRobinsonTraining Thanks for the help!

Can I use it in a presentation online? Thanks in advance!!!
Hand movements are not explained clearly. It's confusing
😀👍
Softwere name,please?
Tinkercad
I think I'm just going to stop teaching and send all my students to your videos.
😂 Feel free!
