I’m a 70 YT woman who’s been a rap hip hop fan since 1980. When Kendrick came on the scene I was fascinated. He is an intellectually curious dude and I love him. His work always emotes questions and thoughts. He is just another level. When this started I was perplexed why K would bother fucking with such a shallow performer like Drake. Now I know. This is more than rap. K is going to war to expose a pedophile; a horrible person and a phony who takes advantage of a culture. Thank you for your breakdowns, glad I finally found your channel.

Agree 100% this was the track that ended it all. 6:16 in “Compton” became my favorite track once I understood the 1st half of his verse and how he was rapping in the perspective of Drake, similar to how he did in buried alive. Euphoria though, masterpiece and probably will go down as top 5 best diss track maybe even top 3.
