Cross-RC PG4A Adventurer Pick-up Truck

BlackSeaRC presents the second video in a series looking at the Cross-RC PG4A Adventurer full-size 4x4 pick-up truck. This is a premium-grade 1:10 scale radio controlled (RC) off-road crawler kit. In the first video, we unboxed the kit and looked at all the ancillary parts required to construct the kit and get the truck up and running. This included the RC transmitter, receiver, Electronic Speed Controller (ESC), servo equipment, paint, tools, battery equipment, etc. A selection of upgrade parts were also acquired. Now, in this video, we follow the step-by-step process to build this top-of-the-range PG4A kit.
The video also presents useful hints and tips if you are building or planning to build a PG4A (or similar Cross-RC kit) in the future.
The PG4A was released in 2016 and is still available in limited numbers if you can find one. It features a metal C-channel chassis frame, 2-speed alloy gearbox coupled to a 27T brushed motor, heavy-duty solid axles with multi-links and adjustable coil spring oil-filled shock absorbers, Fat Man 2.2" all-terrain tyres with chrome-plated steel bead-lock wheels, scale-realistic ABS plastic hard body and comprehensive LED lighting system.
Other models in the PG4 series include the PG4, PG4R, PG4RS, PG4S and PG4L.
In future videos, you will be able to see the completion of the PG4A kit build, the set-up, functional testing and performance testing. There will also be the opportunity to get ideas for customisation and then off-road driving adventures will follow.
