A little dab of clear nail polish helps a ton on screw heads etc. that like to rust quick. Doesn't get in the way of anything and provides just a little extra protection in my experience.
Absolutely agree on the new/rebody thing, it's one of the things I like about the Element stuff. Not only is each truck a very decent performer out of the box, each model is different to each other in terms of looks and build. It's why I have a Sendero HD (that's stock but keeps on surprising people with what it can get up and around, they think it's got loads of upgrades!) and a custom built Gatekeeper. Both regularly outperform much more expensive rigs on a regular basis when out with my local groups. So much so that people are switching over to Element stuff when they change trucks!

I think with some clear windows and some of the bits knight customs is working on for it it’ll be a decent looking rig. Not as great as the night runner but not bad.
This is another excellent review. I think a good performer like this one at a better price may make competitors reconsider their prices if it sells well. Associated may want to consider holding events like Axial does which shows off their products.

Would be sweet to see a modern detailed ute body on it like a newer hilux or dmax with some hidden mounts Not a fan of the body but maybe some scale props might help

Is it possible to put and IFS 2 onto the night runner? Also, if this was a kit vs RTR, you could have sprayed all the screws and items that could rust before building and you would be okay for a few runs without rust.
Just put in a drunken order for one of these. Can't wait to get it. Just put up a video of me and my lack of maintenance so will be 'on it' with the rust prevention... lol
uuuu.... this IFS2 on a buggy body with a special brushless setup or a 2 speed gearbox, with (un)lockable diffs would make for a very very nice Ultra 4 build! [probably the best currently available]

I think It looks well intriguing and would be more than lucky to get one lol those are not badly priced thou and Enduro makes great escs and tyranny and inside workings but they don't make good hard body's wpl has them beat on that one my helux wpl c24 looks way way more scale than that dose lowland I spent 75 on it hand painted it and my trucks look amazing not to brag I'm just proud that I can do it with my mental disability s this hobby has taken me to a whole other place mentally has helped me over come alot and helps my self esteem I bet you any thing I could make that truck look amazing

Body is naff but what we really need is an updated gatekeeper 2.0 with IFS2 front end and gatekeeper trailing arm/ sway bar rear end !

Should have done a bronco, blazer, or defender... we don't have near enough of those yet
