  • Just because you scored low on the ACT or SAT doesn't mean the end of the world. If you take remedial courses, be sure to take them seriously!

You can get remedial courses waived they don’t tell you that though but I definitely had mines waived and went straight to the classes I needed

Honestly any student in remedial classes in college should think again about attending college....if someone is in remedial classes then they should literally not at all be going to college because it is just a waste time and money

I see, but it’s a route to success long term. Who cares if they’re not on level. That’s what the courses are for.

HONESTLY I HAD TO TAKE REMEDIAL CLASSES IN COLLEGE AND I FAILED SO I QUIT AFTER JUST ONE SEMESTER BECAUSE I NEVER LIKED SCHOOL AND I BARELY GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND DID NOT PLAN ON GOING TO COLLEGE IN THE FIRST PLACE……ALL THE AROUND ME HAD THEIR HEADS UP THEIR ASSES AND TOLD ME THAT COLLEGE WAS THE ONLY TO GET AHEAD LIFE WHICH IS LITERALLY NOT TRUE……
TRUTH BE TOLD I MAY NOT BE EDUCATED AND HAVE NO DEGREE BUT I HAVE A LOT OF PRACTICAL SKILLS AND THEY HAVE HELPED ME GET AHEAD……
HARD WORK DOES LITERALLY PAY OFF AND I GET IT MY DAD HAS WORKED HIS LIFE AND HE HAS THREE SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES AND HE HAS NO DEGREE MY COUSIN’S STEPDAD IS A PAINTING CONTRACTOR AND HE IS GOING TO LEAVE THE BUSINESS TO HIS SON ON A SILVER PLATER HE HAS NO DEGREE……

I've failed remedial math 2 times now. I'm likely going to attend trade school in the fall. I've realized that I was never a school person. I didn't get bad grades in highschool. I had mostly b's with a couple of c's.
