3rd day in drywalling. Never done it before in my life. I have to say. Wow, you dudes are strong and work so quick. You make drilling & using measuring tape look so effortless. Big inspiration even though it’s 8 years ago. Learned a lot from this video
Jason Pelletier depends on who and why.. really dont matter. Obviously, if the job is left undone the next framer would know which way the layout is facing. But besides that.. no need.
They r slow my company requires a minimum of 1400 sqft per day for a 2 man team and thats y bonus incentives are given to those who can and thurs not even using spacer bars or deflection track and clips ..SLOW
j. pepper I always cut the slap stud a bit taller than the rest so it stays in place but he’s right you don’t screw it you leave that to the hangers so they don’t have to look for a ladder unscrew it and then screw it again

BC, Canada. I price commercial jobs and it's required here in most application (either slotted or nested top tracks) - I even know of one lady who converted her garage into a small hair salon, and the local building inspector made her create a deflection gap (her son simply cut the top of the studs which seemed odd to me, but it passed..)
No spazzer bars or deflection clips or deflection track thats easy framing ..and i don't all kinds of pipes and duct work n the way ..tbyre not lazy just a little slow ...but as long as you can drywall it and tape it the company gets paid. All that matters
Why are they using drive pins instead of a hilti nail gun and they are slow as all can be makes me laugh we blow people out the water when we see them work like this
I disagree. As Alexi above states; working appropriately without rushing themselves. Neither worker is 'waiting' on the other. One gives a measurement, the partner cuts it quickly, gets it to the upper man and he mounts. Timely system with a pattern that flows. I would work with that team from what I see here.
Nice work! Wish you put up more of these. i could watch this all the time. I just love watch the real work happen.

Studs are facing the wrong way. The hard side should always follow the direction of the layout.
Jason Pelletier depends on who and why.. really dont matter. Obviously, if the job is left undone the next framer would know which way the layout is facing. But besides that.. no need.
Looks like it was layed out on the ground fist, from the way they were going....not how I do it.
Jason Pelletier , they are taking over the industry. Now they will hang the board sideways and leave the screws in at the top.
He’s also cutting the studs 1 at a time with his snips vs using a chop saw. Shit it’s deep leg top track you got some play.
I was about to comment on that but other than that they know their simple partitions
I love how slow but consistent
Im 100% positive that they can frame a whole lot of walls without getting tired
💪💪💪👍👍👍
How many studs can u put up In a day
Slow ?? You’re out of your dam mind !! These guys are insane fast
It's a good day when you get 20 gauge...
Rather do exterior. This is framing 101
are you going to install carrying channel (stiffner) in the wall? should have done that while putting studs up.
slow? They are smart by not killing themself working but just keeping a constant paste. Good job guys.
They r slow my company requires a minimum of 1400 sqft per day for a 2 man team and thats y bonus incentives are given to those who can and thurs not even using spacer bars or deflection track and clips ..SLOW
fuck your bonus!
Union proud babyeee!! 50 sheets a day is how rock
never screw the slap stud, until drywall has been placed
And have it fall on someone?
j. pepper I always cut the slap stud a bit taller than the rest so it stays in place but he’s right you don’t screw it you leave that to the hangers so they don’t have to look for a ladder unscrew it and then screw it again
My guy all u need is 5/8 gap for that drywall to slide not so hard to do
felicidades me dio gusto mirar como le hechan ganas, soy rapidos siganle hechando ganas

looks good man dream job
Let's program robots to do all work while we all drink tequila.
Do you guys not need to use slotted top track (to account for deflection) ) in your area/country?
na we dont necessarily have to in NY. where are you?

yea we can use both. i think just the spec determines what one will be used.
Studs are turned the wrong way
Can you explain why? Newb here
when do you not fasten the top for deflection?
+paul smith when it's mexicans framing
Jestin Ham mexicans replying here are critizicing this guys way of doing it
Jestin Ham mexicans do more work then you. If you disagree you know nothing about construction 😂😂
Alot of people pointing out it is done wrong.
So more work because they have to comeback and fix their previous work ? HaHa
Suppose to unscrew when hanging. or the studs will just fall down if they are not tacked.
You guys rock!
These guys suck! They are rookies, and the put the studs facing the wrong way.
Creo que los studs están al revés 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Hammer drill or impact driver to install the track in the ceiling and on the floor?
Freedom WatchDog
hilti sd350 google it the fastest fastening system
Fast track. Compa.

Rapido wow
Muito bom Rapido
These fools wouldn’t last a day out here in a production job in Los angels , no sense of urgency
Why are they using drive pins instead of a hilti nail gun and they are slow as all can be makes me laugh we blow people out the water when we see them work like this
I would have made that track at 00:12 a header , looks ugly like that
Slow. Never do 1400 or more sqft a day at that rate
No Fall Protection Wow !!
Way to slow ..#chicagocarpenters
slow guys
These guys are slow, and sloppy. they have a stud upside down in the adjacent wall.
I disagree. As Alexi above states; working appropriately without rushing themselves. Neither worker is 'waiting' on the other. LaSouthernGemini Nope, slow.
