    Thank you Hon. Ma. Antonia "Toni" Yulo-Loyzaga m, Secretary of the DENR, Dr. Munir Virani, Executive Director of MBZ Raptor Conservation Fund, and our Trustees Mr. Raoul Littaua and Gen. William Hotchkiss for personally joining us as we make history. Another milestone in Philippine Eagle Conservation was made on this day, June 28, 2024.
    The country’s first ever eagle reintroduction program is supported by the Mohammed Bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Fund, Insular Life Foundation, Inc., Forest Foundation Philippines, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Thank you LGU Burauen and Kagbana, Energy Development Corporation, Eastern Visayas State University, Rotary Club of Central Tacloban City, Australian Embassy - Australia in The Philippines, Forest Foundation Philippines, Mandai Nature, and the Kagbana Upland Farmers Association.
    Special thanks to the various partners that helped us make history today: to the DND and PAF for the airlift of the birds and translocation crew, DENR XI and CENRO-Davao for helping us secure the local transport permit for the birds, to the Office of the DENR Secretary for the supporting the construction of hack cages (with the help of the local community of Brgy. Kagbana), Forest Guards - the Bantay Kagurangan, Doc Bayani's Animal Wellness Clinic for joining us during the pre-transport check up and during aversion training of the eagles, and to Eagle Cement Corporation and Carl Balita Review Center for shouldering the logistical expenses of our team from Tacloban to the soon to be release site, and their return to Davao.
