I am the granddaughter! (Many stolen versions of this are saying it was filmed by "the grandson, for their nurse" - NOT TRUE! :) It was filmed for fun, by me.)
My grandparents are the BEST! They got a real kick out of these lyrics and thought this was a lot of fun. "Big John" & "Evel Bevel" met in the 6th grade. They are now 92 and have been married for 72 years.

I teach a course called Aging in American Society at a university in CT. Sometimes we cover some sad topics (poverty, dementia, death) so I look for items to show in between to let my students know aging isn't all bad...that it can actually be a wonderful time in a person's life. I showed this video to my students yesterday....they loved seeing it! Thanks for doing this, and please thank your grandparents! Best wishes to them.

Omgosh I love this. My husband and I have been together since high school and we have been married to 14 years and together 19 years. It feels like yesterday we were just meeting. Your grandparents are a treasure. I am sorry the rona snatched them. They seem so precious and I am so sorry. I really found them to be so sweet and so kind. You’re a really good grandchild. I know they’re looking down and smiling at these comments and your videos. Such sweet memories to remember them by. God bless you for making these and sharing em.
