  • This clip is from a 50s musical.
Betty Hutton's most notable film role was the part of Annie Oakley in the 1950 musical of "Annie Get Your Gun." One of her best known songs (Blow a Fuse, later renamed It's Oh So Quiet ) was covered by Icelandic artist, Bjork.

I was born in the late fall of1978. This is one of the best song and dance numbers ever put on film! The choreography is awesome! Betty Hutton and Fred Astaire are perfect! Fred Astaire and another man always did the choreography for of the movie dance numbers he was a part of! for This movie was made before Annie Get Your Gun. It was perfectly clear that Betty Hutton was perfect for the role of Annie Oakley in the 959 MGM Classic Musical Movie Annie Get Your Gun!

The Absolutely Charming "Let's Dance" from 1950...the Great Fred Astaire and under-appreciated Betty Hutton. Shockingly out of character for Fred, but So Funny! Another of Betty Hutton's films not released on DVD, officially, sadly.
I do have it on Laserdisc! :)

dorothy lamour wasnt a great dancer or singer either, but the two were in a great film together, they were actresses who danced and sang well, thats good enough for me.
