What a great video. I had to subscribe. Thanks for all the information. I'm with a family of six so living life on a comfortable budget is always worth looking into.
I was in Miami in March for spring break with my family taking my granddaughter on a cruise. How ironic that you ended your video at Bubba Gump because that is the last place that my aunt and I ate at before leaving for our cruise. Thanks for the video. Please keep enjoying your life. 🙏👏🏾👍🏾
#1. I sure do appreciate your left brain at work in this video. I absolutely LOVE how you laid everything out and did this professional presentation. Thank you so much! We're all inspired by it!. #2. When you were on RC Mariner of the Seas and you met the 2 older ladies that shared with you how to play the "older style machines that have bonus rounds" just long enough to earn a "free cruise", how much money did you play with in order to earn the 2500 points/credits? Was it the same $100 dollars a day for that one cruise? Were you able to earn all 2500 points on the single sailing? And/Or did you already have casino points from previous RC cruises? Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond to all of our inquiries. Wendye
Hi Wendye. Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement. As I am new to RUclips, I REALLY appreciate the feedback. 💖Yes, I ended up spending all of the $800 I brought with me and when I got to 2,501 points, I think I only had maybe less than $25 left. I started out with 0 points when I got on the Mariner in October as the points start over every year on April 1st and I had not been on a Royal Caribbean cruise in years. It took a while as we were doing slow play. If I had to guess, I would say we spent probably 2 to 4 hours each day and the machines were "loose" so they were paying back probably around 90% and they were giving a lot of bonuses. I got a few small bonuses. It was actually 2 ladies and 1 guy (I always forget to mention him) and the guy actually won $10k playing $0.60 on a machine in the section we were in (The machine was called Sahara Gold - where you need the 3 pyramids for the bonus round). I think he won it on Day 4 or 5. You can imagine how jealous I was, but it didn't take away from the fun I had. 😊🚢
Informative content and great review of the hotel (access, location, amenities & the room). You may have stated that you stayed at the IC (located not to far from where you are/were) on your previous trip, just wondering how comparable is it using points at the IC (normally comes with fridge & microwave)? Thanks for sharing
👋Hi. Thank you for the compliments and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Comparing the 2 hotels...Intercontinental is definitely a better quality hotel with better service, better amenities, better views and is just a slightly further distance away. When I stayed at IC Christmas 2021, I paid $154/night plus tax & resort fees and did not have or use points back then. The price in points and dollars will vary depending on what time of year and what is happening in the city. Example: looking at cash price for Aug 4-10 (random week) IC is $207/nt vs HI $140/night but BOTH are 28,000 points per night (about $140/night). Same hotels for 2025 New Year's week & the prices jump to $294/nt for HI and $504/nt for IC - neither has availability using points. So, it's best to check all options based on dates. #HopeThatHelps
I’m here watching your video and I realize the lobby looks familiar. My friend and I stayed there almost two years ago 😆 She made all the arrangements, so I didn’t recognize the name or address at first. 🤦🏻♀️ We were only there one night because we didn’t want to chance flying in the morning of our cruise. We also had a reservation for the high speed boat ride, but it was pouring down rain, so we went to Bubba Gump’s and roamed around the mall instead. Just started watching your videos. You’re inspiring me to do more solo travel and maybe even “earn” a free cruise someday. Safe travels. ❤
@1lmbernard Thanks & welcome aboard 🛳 Listen!!! That speed boat ride is LIFE! Hopefully, you get another chance next time. 🙏🏽😊 Bubba Gumps can be hit or miss & it was DEFINITELY A HIT during this trip. 🤣😂🏆🏆🏆
$300 a night is a lot for me. Is that normal for you? If you watched this video because you're tryna get your costs down for future cruises, check out other videos on this channel. This one is a good place to start: ruclips.net/video/cHiZcymJDDQ/видео.htmlsi=EyhE3L_ZWU3Hkhfr

How do you get to your hotels coming from the airport ?
@@Amira-ir6sb 👋🏽 Usually hotel shuttles. If n/a, Uber.
Thank you so much!!!! I wanted to pick this hotel for overnight prior to cruise. Will avoid….😂
@@beatricem7224 Oops! Sorry for the spoiler alert. 🤷🏽♀️🤭 Hope you have a wonderful time on your CRUISE! 💃🏾🎉🛳
Thanks for hotel review of where to stay near Port of Miami!
You're welcome. 🤗
Great advice 😊
24:52 soooo the FREE hotel shuttel was $20.00? wow
Exactly! Holy bait & switch Batman! ☹
@@PovertyToParadise sad REALLY sad we can NOT trust companies... that was like hum FREE to $2.00 a Min!!!!
that was bogus. free to $8to $15 to %20
Nice video. I was wondering where I could stay after my cruise. Are there any close by beaches I could visit in that area?
Miami's public transportation is REALLY good. There are trolleys, trains, buses, and even hop on / hop off buses that will take you to the beaches. 😊
33:44 yum!
😂😆😝And was!
I am going on a cruise in June 2025 and its 300 a nite
