Mike Tramp
He shot to fame in the late-1980s as the voice (and impossibly good-looking face) of White Lion’s hit songs, “Wait,” “Tell Me,” “Little Fighter” and “When the Children Cry.” Today, he’s reimagined and rerecorded the band’s best-known songs for an upcoming (April 14) new album titled “Songs of White Lion.” He joins us to revisit the classic songs, discuss his love of Thin Lizzy, and recall past tours with AC/DC and Aerosmith (including that time he and Steven Tyler invaded a water park). And, yes, we ask him THAT question.

Lady of the Valley and The Road to Valhalla are two of my favorites.
I was at White Lion's very last show at The Channel Club in Boston. Great memories.
Cool interview, really hope Vito gets back in the game again! 🍻⚡
Very underrated guy and band!
The non- dirty panty songs like Little Fighter, When The Children Cry, Broken home, Lady Of The Valley, Cry For Freedom were the reasons why I loved this band so much.
Great interview guys! So Vito, I hope one day you and Mike (If a reunion with James LoMenzo and Greg D'angelo is not possible) at least collaborate on something new
I never looked at them as hair metal. Their music had alot to say. Lady of the valley and little fighter has a very almost power metalish sound to it. Has a European sound almost. To me they stood out with their music, Their looks was part of the scene at that time. Miss this band. Happy Mike is still kicking ass 🤘🏻
another great interview! thanks for posting.
Great interview with a great guy! He seems so wise.. and real. Thanks for this! 🤘
Killer interview guys.....Mike is such a good guy. My first ever gig was White Lion on the Mane Attraction tour in Glasgow Scotland
Thanks. We loved having him on the show. Great guy!
Really loved this interview!!! 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Same. He was one of our favorites. Thanks for checking it out.
❤
Love it
He was one of our favorites.
Great stuff here guys. Again some great stories from him. I have 1991 White Lion album. A friend of mine saw them on tour with Skid Row and Motley Crue in 1989 at Birmingham NEC. 🎸🎸
🦁
Very good interview!!!
Thanks. We had a great time with him. Super cool dude.
Mike always comes across as cool AF ! I saw him with Freak of Nature when they toured Europe for the first album and I wish you had asked talked more about that band, then again it was non-existent in the US at that time.
Yeah don`t worry guys, Mike Bitch will have a country version of Wait out any time now !!!!!!!
