Kevin, your personality outshines any of the facial things you mentioned because I have been watching your videos for the last several years and never noticed any of those things! Sarah, you are precious!
My high school love dropped out of High School to join the Marines in 1965. Unfortunately he was killed in combat just 6 weeks before he was to come home. He was killed 5/3/66 still on the front line! God Bless the Veterans'!! Thank you for your tribute to them.
Viet Nam vets got the short end of the stick. They were dedicated soldiers simply doing what their country asked of them. I sure do appreciate their service. I have lived in Thailand and the locals sure did love and appreciate our soldiers.
Didn’t see you on Veterans Day. I am a vet 1977-1980. Stationed Fort Hood Texas and Heidelberg Germany. My answer to thank you for your service is You are worth it.
My husband is retired 23 years Army, two sons retired Army, one son retired Navy, and one son retired Marine Corp. I am a proud retired military wife and mother. The last 8 months of my husband's career all the boys and their dad were active duty at the same time!
PERSONALLY, I LIKE YOUR EYELID AS IS, IT GIVES YOU CHARACTER. ALSO, I FEEL BADLY FOR ANYONE WHO HAS THE TIME TO NITPICK ANOTHER PERSONS PHYSICALITY AS NO ONE IS PERFECT. THANK GOD❤ HOW BORING WOULD WE BE IF WE WERE! YOU’RE A BEAUTIFUL COUPLE INSIDE & OUT. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO. GOD BLESS YOU
Thanks so much! USAF Veteran 1972 through 1976 as a Morse Systems operator stationed in England then Korea. Only regret is not staying in for 30 years! It was a great experience!!
Well I thank ya'll are Fantastic! Please don't pay any attention to people's rude comments. People now days just want to ask questions, and honestly, I don't think it's anyone's business, why Kevin has a droopy eye, or a crooked noise. I think ya'll are great U tubers. Take care and God bless
I'm catching up on past videos. Kevin, I never noticed your eye. God made you perfect the way you are. Thank you both for your videos, I learn something new all the time
Thanks for sharing today. So glad that Sarah is fine and that Kevin is really okay just the way God has shaped him even though so thoughtless people thinks he needs help. We like you just the way you are Kevin!!! It is also great that Watson is on the road to recovery and will be a Big Part for your cattle operation. Stay safe , God Bless you all and keep up the great videos and fun around there. Fred.
Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge today and thank you for all of our veterans and your family for their service. I enjoy your rabbit videos, and the quail looking forward to seeing some more💖🇺🇸💖
US Navy 01/1982-05/1993. I served in Puerto Rico, Virginia, Italy, and Florida. Women serving in combat was just beginning when I left. Sarah, I’m so glad your ultrasound went well!
My husband spent 40 years in the Army. He's an Army Ranger. He was wounded twice. He spent time in Vietnam and the Panamanian riots. He has lung damage from Agent Orange. He retired as an E 7 and Lt Colonel. He's qualified in Tanks, artillery and infantry. He taught small arms fire, hand-to-hand combat during Vietnam and he commanded artillery units. He worked for The Army Research Institute where he worked on a tank training program and developed an online training program for non-commissioned officer training. This was during the very early internet. The training started by teaching students how to access the mainframe computers over the phone using laptop computers the size of carry-on suitcases. He's now 86 years old and golfs 3 days a week. He still beats par. He has many health issues, but you wouldn't know it playing with him. We are very thankful for the military healthcare. VA is not so great, but Tricare for Life is for both of us. We've both had many surgeries and illnesses that they've paid for. I just have to toot his horn.
I must have just missed the live. Husband served for 23 years AF and served in Nam "71" and was aircrew for the most of that time crewmember visiting almost every country on the globe. Retired then onto a second 23 year career in the aerospace industry. Living in the PNW with all our children/grandchildren/greatgrandchildren. Unbelievable health issues suffered and it takes a toll on us both. Thank God for each morning our feet hit the floor! I've been watching you for so many years and totally have learned so much from you both. Thanks to your inspiration and raised beds, I have enjoyed above ground gardening this year. Looking forward to next spring to do it all again. Hope all is well with you both and that things are getting back to normal. Blessings to you and yours
I count cows, also. They’re not even my cows…my neighbors! lol! We are an open range county and it is our responsibility to keep them out. Fencing is essential and they do put a lot of pressure on perimeter fencing as the grass is always greener on the other side. We added 2 strand electric to barb wire to help but if one cow pushes another….thats a lot of weight on a fence line.
I am so very sorry that someone would comment on your appearance. As a Christian this is very disappointing. My husband and I watch you all the time from SC. We appreciate all the info you give and sharing your homestead. God Bless .
Good morning Lauren, I have never put oil on any of my cast iron after they have been seasoned. But I use salt when my cast iron is hot to clean and to keep it smooth. My cast Iron is also from my grandmother, who received it as a wedding gift back in 1918. I cook with it every day. It's my favorite skillet. Love your videos, very informative
You are both Beautiful people to my eyes, thank you for all you do.we have just had our own remembrance day here, so much we need to thank them, if not for them were would we be now?
I was the person asking about silkie meat, thnx. When i raised chickens i discovered the meat on colored chickens was not WHITE like grocery stores, but tastes like white. But i knew Silkies were DARK all but black skin. One of my favorite roo was a white silkie David, when it was time for him to go to "camp" i let a friend take him We didn't say on the HALVES, but oncthe SHARES. There were times the guy with equipment got 2/3 depending on if they paid for seeds or fertilizer
I am so very sorry you guys have to seal with all the rude people that watch your channel that are so concerned about why you have a droopy eye or and crocked nose.... that is ridiculous...God bless you guys & love your channel & content & your Christianity & Love for our Lord!❤😘🙏
I was drafted, and failed the draft physical and was sent home. I went to work for Lockheed Corp, Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. Inc and then Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Company. As a result, I was a veteran of the Cold War!
Veterans....thank you for your service! Kevin, my husband lost an eye in his teens and I had to learn how to stay out of his blind spot. He has a couple of deep scars on his face. He is my own personal Rooster Cogburn and the most handsome man I know. Cheers to men who live well enough it shows on their faces.
Im an Army brat. Dad left & his 2nd set of kids never knew that side of him. My 1 sis was married to AF, my boys only in 1 hitch, my girls hub was Marine. 2 cuz were WACs, mom was civilian who worked in payroll on 2 bases (retired), many of my friends fathers were from those bases. My girl, my brother & his wife all work in civil services. Lots more connections
Do you plan to rotate your alfalfa field to corn? The reason I ask is my grandfather was a dairyman near Kansas City and he rotated his hay and corn fields. He picked corn on the cob when dry and ground it for feed when milking or for fattening beef steers for meat.
So glad to hear good news about Sarah-ptl! And Watson, so happy for you. That was a lovely tribute to our veterans. Interesting to see the Silkies when cooked, thank you. Val C ❤️🙏🏻
My Hubs was 23rd Infantry Vietnam, went to Alaska and then when he came home he was on special assignment to the Pentagon in DC. He served 6 years active and 2 years Non-Active reserve.
You are such sweet people. Thank you so much for sharing your life. Your channel is a gift to those of us who will never have a farm but love the lifestyle. So glad it was good news for Sarah! God bless.
Gee Kevin, you’re in pretty good shape for the shape you are in. 😂. People just amaze me. They don’t have anything better to complain about. You look just fine to me. 🥰 Love you both!!

That is a beautiful deer. But now I want venison. Neither my husband or I hunt any more so I need to find someone who is willing to part with some deer meet.
My neighbor is getting a calf. It's mother died. Know she has been dead 2 days. Know the calf has been trying to nurse on the other cows. But getting kicked off. The farmer wants to give them the calf. Converted a dog/chicken pens from tsc for a holding pen. Till proper fencing can be done. They want to raise for beef. No clue on what to do. Can you give any advice?
Q re keeping Watson for a long time-does this mean he will be breeding back his own offspring? If not how will you manage this? Also, how old are your cows before you cull/replace them, barring acute issues?
OMG Kevin, if you hadn't mentioned it I would never have noticed your droopy eye or broken nose, LOL. Hey, as long as Sarah loves you that is all that matters. Love your channel. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I've been in Japan, Thailand, Canada, India, Alaska, and many places stateside. Father was in WW II, husband was in Air Force as a Pilot in Vietnam, son was in Marines in Desert Storm, and daughter was in Navy in Desert Storm. So I'm not a Vet, but I sure did my duty... lol. Blessing to all our vets!!
I cannot believe people asked about Kevin's eye, people are ridiculous. My youngest son was born with a lazy eye and had many surgeries as a young child so honestly I don't notice anything like that. But as a baby people acted like he had a contagious disease sometimes because he would have on an eye patch. Can we just look at the things about people that are truly important and those things have nothing to do with physical appearance.
I had lazy eye since I was 3, had surgery when I was 15. I can still tell when it turns in. I need cataract surgery but don't have the 300 copay per eye. My right eyelid also droops and eye doc says he could fix it. It's a loose muscle
My first Living Traditions Homestead Live. I love how you two interact with each other. I don't have cows and on my 1/2 acre homestead I will never. HOWEVER, I am part of a Herd share and get my raw milk and beef locally.
Kevin I don't have access to your email but I just wanted to let you know I stopped in to see yall's latest videos. PLEASE, if you haven't already, go see a doctor. I noticed the right side of your face had drooped. My own mother suffered several silent strokes over the course of of a month before it was apparent. Only concerned! Feel free to delete once you read. Thanks - God Bless
I thought you had an episode where you helped your friends set up raised beds the ones you showed in this chat? Did you ever go back to film how their gardening went for them?-that would be really cool to see !
People can be so cruel! I think it comes from being hard on themselves and project their judgement onto others. And as far as you eye and nose WHO CARES it's just part of you.
My 20 year old granddaughter is army national guard reserve; she is military police and because of her tiny stature, if deployed, her position is "gunner" meaning she will sit on the tank behind the gun. I ask for Prayers please for HE to shield her shall the time come that she is in that position. Thank you to all service men and women past and present; they enable us to have the freedoms we have.
All of my sons have served; each choosing a branch that matched their personality. The oldest joined Marines, the middle joined Army and the youngest the Air Force. All served deployments with the oldest being medically discharged, the middle serving 7 deployments during his 20 year military career. And the youngest served 12 years before passing from a freak accident at home. I noticed the droopy eye on your first Livestream, I assume because it is a closer up view of your face than we normally see when you are working on a vid. I the went to a few older vids to see whether it was the same a few years back and it was so I knew it wasn't something to be alarmed by and no need to mention it at that time. While mine doesn't droop I have one eye that is higher than the other. I refer to it as Picasso Syndrome. My glasses are adjusted so they rest slightly crooked on my face sooner eyebrow isn't above the top line of my glasses. Most people do have some asymmetry on their faces to whatever degree. One thing I like about the Livestream is the versatility. I personally don't care for it because of the constant comments which I feel the need to try and keep up with. What if I miss a really good one? For me it detracts from the content, so I just wait until it's over to watch and find it much more relaxing, but it still is available for those who like live. Anyone who hasn't seen Sarah's rabbit tutorial series really should look them up and watch them. They are the best tutorials online because Kevin and Sarah are excellent teachers.
Oh my goodness…I have been watching for about 3 years and never noticed a droopy eye!!!! Just know that people who watch and love you both aren’t here to scrutinize your good looks!!
In 1970, I was assigned to the 5th BN, 30th FA in Italy commanded by LTC William Nolde when I received orders to go to Vietnam. LTC Nolde called me into his office and showed me a letter that he had received from General Westmoreland telling him that he had been selected as an ARVN Area Advisor for his second tour in Vietnam. He was to be promoted to Colonel before going. He asked me to get an assignment in his area as an advisor also. I had no desire to work with the ARVN and did not do that. Colonel Nolde became the last man killed before the official end of the war. He was a great guy, good friend and dedicated officer. On this Veterans Day, I salute him!
Missed your live but always enjoy your videos. It amazes me how veiwers are being so rude to those who are sharing their lives with us.. But glad to hear everyone is doing well. Thanks for sharing!!!!

What do you guys do with your manure from your cattle?
You guys.... facial features are what gives you character! And yours are endearing ❤
I really enjoy seeing your caste iron collection hanging in behind you. Wintertime I love to see the wood stove burning too. Cozy is always good.

I heard Lespadiza only grows in fertile soil is it is an indicator of soil health.
Awesome! 🎉
You guys are such an inspiration because homesteading is not always easy. Thank you for being here.

Is your fertilizer organic? Just curious.
Nutrient profile of regeneratively raised beef is superior to feed lot raised beef. Stefan Van Vliet has been researching this.

Our oath remains.
Just out of curiosity, is Medical Insurance for cattle (large animals) available in your area? Is there such a thing?
I don’t think so

Did you ever go back to film how their gardening went for them?-that would be really cool to see !
We helped them put down weed fabric. They did a video showing how well the garden did.
Love all the unique features that make you, you Kevin. 💗 Thanks for the clarification for all those who voiced concern
Greater variety of forages create a better nutrient profile in the meat.

Could we start the video by showing what Kevin’s T-shirt says? The banner is in the way and I can't see it. 😂

Thank you so much, Betty!
Oh my goodness…I have been watching for about 3 years and never noticed a droopy eye!!!! Just know that people who watch and love you both aren’t here to scrutinize your good looks!!
Have you found the way the Koreans cook silky chickens? It’s delicious! But it’s a bit of labour of live!
Since both of your dad's served during Vietnam, did they not talk about their time serving? I think this was a common thing specific to Vietnam.
Neither of them want to share much about it.
@LivingTraditionsHomestead one of my brother in laws served in Vietnam, and he never talks about it either.
2:47 What are your names?
1st Aviation Bdge, Americal Division Vietnam 1966-1967. I am 79 years old.
How do you keep your iron skills so clean
Missed your live but always enjoy your videos. It amazes me how veiwers are being so rude to those who are sharing their lives with us.. But glad to hear everyone is doing well. Thanks for sharing!!!!
