The thing that kills me about not having robin movies is if WB doesnt want a child Robin they can do what the animated series did where it shows Bruce indoctrinate a young Dick Grayson and then do a small time jump to him being older not that hard
Ty for this video. I looked this up because I'm FINALLY playing Arkham Knight. And i was impressed by Nightwings characterization. And honestly, he was the first "next generation" There was Bruce Wayne, then there was Dick Grayson, THEN etc etc etc. And the fact that he decided to be his own person yet remain so loyal to Batman is why he's such an interesting character.
It would be a better way of showing how Dick yearns for his own independence, and in a concept story where he temporarily takes over as Batman for Bruce, it would be nice for it to show how he comes from hating being a sidekick, and taking orders, to liking being independent and not being in someone’s shadow, and fighting someone’s battles, instead he gains his own collage of big bads. Not only that, the following robins after him turn to him on how to deal with Batman, & how to carry on the mantle, and even finding his own sidekick to help protect Bludhaven with him.
so he was 9 and 10 years old when his parents were murdered and adopted by Bruce Wayne aka Batman and then he was 16 years old he was Robin until 27 years old when was Nightwing when he moved to bludhaven
You know this would make a great batman animated movie is when Bruce Wayne gets injured during the fight with bane at the beginning of the movie and have dick Grayson take over as batman temperaley for most of the movie and have Bruce Wayne gets better and becomes batman again and dick Grayson becomes nightwing again at the end of the movie . So would that cool or what?
Yeah, I honestly didn’t have a problem with the name change to Rick. Just the story that went with it. At least by this point, have him declare that him being a 30-something adult, he’s gonna go by the name Richard. All of this other modernization that they call themselves doing that nobody asks for, and they still have him going by the name Dick? That’s a 1940s name, obviously. Modernize the things that make sense, not the other stuff that doesn’t.
In the comics, Raven originally didn't arrive til Robin was at least 18.

Dick Grayson is most definitely one of the best Batfamily characters, as both Robin and Nightwing.

So essentially Robin is the Batman we all needed but never knew we needed. Super slept on character. Great video and story line

@@poopooman-q7r that could work have both dick Grayson and Jason Todd in it
@@poopooman-q7r well yeah but it could be an interesting story that's never been done before or hasn't been done yet
@@robertdavies6630 srry to burst your bubble but the concept has already been done just hit animated but robin does become Batman
It's wild to me that we've had an ant man trilogy and 2 aquaman movies before a single Robin or nightwing solo film
Dicks life goes crazy

Can everyone JUST CALL HIM GRAYSON or RICHARD?? I hate hearing people calling him “dick”
they call him that in comics, why use his other name
