- In this video, we'll explore 2 different ways to help you find your life purpose and live a more fulfilling life. If you're feeling lost or unsure about your path, these tips can guide you in discovering your true purpose.
I'm 17 and have finished school, so I was looking much trough the internet, books and other stuff to find my life's purpose and came to the conclusion to let things be. Just be, not more and not less. It's kinda how you told it, to stay true to yourself and I think this is the best thing you can do.
Edit: I forgot to tell that your videos are great:)
Great video James. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Something I want to share - we live in an age with so many possible paths for people to take, as opposed to the old days when you are pretty much either a farmer, a teacher or a priest. The reason we feel lost or feel that we have not found our purpose is driven by the thinking that somewhere out there there is a more suitable role for us. IMO, like you said, stop chasing so hard for the life purpose, think of it as a path to the star. The closer you get to the star, yes you will get more clarity on where the star is; but ultimately, whether you find the star or not, what matters is you finding the path that makes you feel the most proud and content.
I am turning 28 soon and I just quit my corporate 9-5 with no backup plan. Feeling extremely lost and scared, but thankful that I have some savings I can live off while I figure out my next steps. I love the outdoors and I have been on a long healing journey myself. I wonder if my purpose will arise from one of those avenues. Right now I am just investing time in pursuing my passions, deepening my relationships, and hoping that some path will be known to me eventually. Best of luck to you and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us :)
Yep, it’s definitely 10 pm on Sunday 🙃
I know it's very irrelevant comment....but watching you I feel like you are going to be very successful on RUclips...
Thank you for the kind words! I hope you have a wonderful week :)
@@James-Zhang thanks and welcome
you should have a podcast!!
Working on creating one!
I think I'm gonna be a gaming youtuber, but everytime i start recording, one of my parents come and interrupt the recording, so i have realized that i need to somehow make money and move out of the house get a room to record and do the youtube thing
Try talking to your parents about your game project to create some income. Maybe they will help accommodate you by allowing you an uninterrupted schedule with the exception of urgent or emergency matters. Like a office work schedule.
ive been feeling really lost, especially now as a senior in college, but im starting my very first job this week and im hoping its a great learning experience! it seems like working somewhere can teach a lot about yourself and im looking forward to it
also i know you talked about continuing to evolve and staying true to yourself, but how do you do either of those? they seem like such vague tasks and i cant think of things that i can implement into my life that would cause me to do that.
thanks for the video brother
Everybody learns through experience. Evolution and staying true to yourself means learning how to listen to your soul/true self and what it’s trying to tell you.
A simple way is to start doing things that you really love.
Take time out of each day to introspect and look within.
Ask yourself, who am I? What brings me joy and fulfillment? What do I need to learn?
And know that this will evolve and change over time as you grow :).
Congrats on your journey, you have an exciting road ahead.
@@James-Zhang i understand
thanks so much for responding
ill try to do that
most of the dry, boring careers are going to be the ones that make money/decent money. the fun passion careers for the most part arent going to make money and if so its wont be much. youll be lucky if you can make a living out of it
Question for you, I received ads on this video, are you getting compensated for this? I thought the requirement to receive advertisements was 10,000 subscribers?
Not yet. I haven't even looked into monetizing yet!
you are on something today
