I have 4 master's degrees (MBA, management, corporate communication, and coaching) from an accredited university in Spain due to the significantly lower cost than the USA. A PhD is too specialized in my opinion. I would argue that the collective relevance of multiple master's degrees is the closest equivalent to a PhD. Also, each master's degree allows a person to add one or more to specific applications to improve their competitiveness.
I’m going through this dilemma right now so I appreciate your perspective. I will have my MBA in two months and I am currently leaning towards getting a Masters in Finance after instead of a PhD. I am one of those weird people who is passionate about Finance but cost is also a factor for me since I only have enough of my GI Bill left to cover an MSF whereas with a PhD I’d either have to pay out of pocket or find other sources for funding. I’ve been fortunate to have a debt free education so far and I think I will be able to do the kind of work I want with the MBA/MSF combo. Thank you for your video!
It's all about your percieved value. Why pay a PhD when they probably have less practical experience? You need to be able to market your skills otherwise they assume you are just really smart but possess no useful knowledge or skills.

Hello sir! I have my MBA already, but am considering a secondary masters or a PhD. I want to teach at smaller local schools even community colleges while also working in my field, I'm not looking to teach at top schools or Fortune 500s. My field of experience is Human Resources and Management. I have believed and seen online that getting a second masters in HR or Management would be redundant. IS that the case or would those secondary masters be of benefit? I may still get a PhD eventually, but I'm torn on whether or not to get the second masters...Thanks for any input!
Good day, is it possible to do two different masters degree using the same bachelor degree? Also can you give any tips and tricks for a student who is working as well....
Old Post but might help someone else. A Bachelor is not a 1 use Ticket. You can Do as many Masters as you want if and that is the important Part. If you fullfill the requirements for that particular Master. So check Individual ly with the school you are interested in. In Most csses you will have to take one or two extra courses
Hello, thank you for your video. I have 3 masters (disaster management, environmental management and economics) and I am currently preparing my doctorate. Do you think it will be difficult for me to find a job for me? Do you think people would be afraid of me? And do you think I should hide a master's degree? Thank you

What about if you work in education? Any thoughts on if a doctorate or second master's degree is better?

Is possible get a MBA degree and Economics PHD at the same time?
Not sure. But that would be uncommon. Check out Business Policy and Economics PhDs.
Yes, just depends on the school. Some schools also allow you to get a MS or MA in economics while doing your Econ PHD
