🤮They always tell you the same BS..."they are harmless", but they fail to tell you that you have to get rid of pretty much everything you own because those suckers can hide anywhere AND survive without blood for months. The stress of being seiged by them also takes a toll on you.

My mom had a problem with bed bugs. We used a company that came in and used heat to destroy the bed bugs in all stages from egg to adult. They raised the temperature in her house to 130 degrees. It killed everything within 4 hours. No chemicals had to be used.

It's costs alot too.. A 500 square foot room is 4k-6$ USD to cure with heat treatments. Each time . I have seen 15k to treat a home with 2 treatments.. Some cities. Are reporting 1to 5million in treatments on budget A year.. a hotel is vasty different beast so many floors/walls. Etc. . They will be bankrupt soon . 1 hotel could be 800k- 2million to treat . Every 6 months that 4 million . Per hotel..
      That not counting the lawsuits..

Like any electrical item you own. Any soft toy or furniture. Even the plug socket holes are their caves.
I saw YT buy faulty games consoles off ebay and fix them. So many times these consoles have bugs litering their chips and such. Roaches and bed bugs. They know when you sleeping too. Like a theif in the night they single file they azz up and over to you. Then step back into their shadows totally invisible until there's 1000s of them. Then you'll notice signs 😅

Imagine years 😢 there's a product you can get called diamatheus earth. Home Depot and Lowe's sell it. You can get a big bad for about $20 bucks. It kills them slow. Otherwise they just keep coming back. I dealt with 7 years. I live in an apartment. Couldn't afford to move so I reported it to landlord. Whole building infested when I moved in. Since, using diamatheus earth, I have no more. 🎉

Same. Lucky I had a bed with legs at the time and I could put a saucer of bleach under each leg as a barrier. I also steamed my mattress to make sure. Eventually they went but I always thought... if they are clever, they could climb the wall hover over me from the ceiling and just drop. Now I have a gas lift bed frame which has tonnes of junk stored under it. If I get them again I'll have to move out.

The guy who came to do a disinsection mixed both and sprayed the entire flat, walls, floors beds, clothes, adult bugs were dead after 2-3 days and he came after 3 weeks to repeat the procedure (1st spraying kills the adult bugs the 2nd kills the young from recent eggs. Hope you understand) everything was killed with 2 attempts. If someone wants then they can spray 3x Times after another 3 weeks. (After spraying do not wash floors)

Best advice is to always spray and fill cracks and check under carpets along with lining tight crevices with the scents and oils. Baby powder and peppermint is also good to use to repel them.

That's awful. I'm a truck driver and got an infestation a few years ago. I was lucky that I had no reaction to their bites. They were getting into the cracks between panels in the sleeper bunk. I was lucky that I found an experienced exterminator when I went home. He tried the heat treatment first but some of them survived. So he used a spray over the areas where they would come out. The spray was very toxic to them but not to humans. And it was supposed to last six months so any bed bugs passing over those sprayed spots would die. And that worked. I have been bug free for years but still jump at every piece of lint or crumb I see and need to inspect to be sure it's not a bug or shed exoskeleton.

Diatomaceous Earth works really well too! It's a powder that gets in their joints and jaws and basically tortures them to death. I used it back in 2018 and haven't seen a bedbug since. Sprinkle it in corners, cracks, and seams of your bedframe and mattress. Also where the parts of the bed that touch the ground (like a little moat of powder). Good riddance, too!

@@SuperAtomicFox yes, here in India, we get a pesticide by the trade name of Torpid.
It's a sachet with water soluble grains in it.
Totally odourless and not harmful to humans.
You mix one sachet in a liter of water and use it in a spray gun ( plastic hand operated type).
You spray it on your mattress ( seams and the stitches, that's where they hide and lay eggs ).
Also spray in furniture and wall crevices .
      Also in the furniture compartments.
The solution dries , leaving behind a thin coat of pesticide.
At night , when the bug walks over the dry patch and the pesticide gets in it's legs, that's it!
      The bug is finished.
It doesn't die immediately but " bleeds" white fat matter through it's mouth and sides.
I was greatly surprised at the end of second day. There were literally thousand upon thousands of them.
All dead. And I had to collect them with vacuum cleaner.
They kept dying for several days.
This pesticide also kills their eggs and nyphs.
After a week, you go for second service. Same pesticide at the same place again.
This prevents them from infecting again
"Torpid " made by Godrej in India.
This pesticide is used by farmers in fields. But it's also very effective against bedbugs.
BTW bedbugs aren't insects. So the pesticides made for insects are not very effective against them
They're octopods ( eight legged like lice, not six legged like flies).
So you need this special agro pesticide.

There has been a problem for some time folks. I had a friend who flew there 5 years ago stayed in a hotel completely redone, and she was devoured had a horrible histamine reaction to so many bite's. This was a 4 star hotel folk's and they checked out in the morning she showed them some of the bite's the hotel staff laughed at her. This was a senior citizen, and I could not believe how many bite's she had. She was sick for over a week after flying home after 1 day and night in Paris. She threw away everything she had with her on the trip including the suitcase, I met her at airport with giant trash bags and some of her clothes from home. We bundled everything in plastic and put in the dumpster. It's not just Paris. I often travel to conventions in my country in EU and a week ago or so there were bedbugs ruining my whole trip. The response was that multiple floors of that place had already closed down because of this (and that I "probably brought them in my luggage"). Exterminator companies also told media they've been very busy. tourism + heat = infestations.

Please buy some Diatomaceous Earth! My dad told me about it back in 2018 when I had bed bugs and it will get rid of them for good! It's only about 10 to 20 dollars here in the USA. Wherever the bed bugs are, just sprinkle the powder, like in the cracks, seams and corners of your bedframe and mattress. You should also sprinkle _under_ the bed too, where the bed touches the ground. To be extra thorough, pour some in other areas too like windowsills and couches. _Wherever_ they are in your house, pour some diatomaceous earth around it. It gets in their joints and mandibles and kills them. I hope it works for you!

There is a serious concern in the industry I work. I have to be discreet in what I can say but we have reason to believe these bedbugs were intentionally planted in Paris, and that they have been genetically modified to serve as hosts of an as-of-yet unidentified viral disease that is transmissible to humans and animals alike. The goal it seems was to cause an infestation in Paris that would evolve into a superspreader event when the Olympics arrive there in 2024. The problem with bedbugs is you just can’t prepare for them. They can travel, are hard to notice until it’s too late, and are extremely hard to eradicate.
Please be mindful. I have no advice on how to be safe as we just don’t know who is behind it and what virus they might be carrying, just be aware.

This bug could be a carrier for next viral disease or to spread fear mongering, making people think they were infected by a virus when it probably allergic reactions from bed bugs. Our neighbouring country, Singapore had recently, released hundred thousands of mosquitoes, each carry a type of bacteria that according to their minister, will help to reduce dengue mosquitoes in Singapore. However, according to past experiment report, the strategy did not work and more of a failure. So why do they release more of these to environment even after failure?. I am just afraid that these mosquitoes will reach our shore and create new viral disease cause by mosquitoes.
