You are my hero. Only tutorial out of, literally, 20 (video, written, pattern), that has lead me to successfully crochet a true chevron pattern with beautifully straight edges. Tears of joy this time, rather than frustration. Thank you thank you! 😊

I had the same experience. This is the only video that worked for me.

I just have to tell you -- for more than one year, I have watched dozens and dozens of videos, innumerable attempts to make a chevron blanket, I FINALLY have it mastered. Thanks all to this video. I don't know how to THANK YOU for this video. I was so frustrated, ready to give up -- I thought ok maybe ONE MORE video and I will try again. And...magic! I don't know why yours is different than all the others, but this one worked. I can't even express how grateful I am to you. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!

I'm so excited to give this a try, like so many other viewers, I have watched several videos and this one actually makes sense. Thanks for the clear explanation!

I have learned so MUCH from you! I have watched SEVERAL (at least 5) different videos on (I am a visual learner) making the Chevron (My GMA called it the Ripple Stitch back in the 60's-70's??) Blanket.
Your explanation of how this is done really "clicked" (finally) with me.
So, in other words, if you continue to make the first two rows that you've shown in the video over and over again (to achieve the length/width of the blanket.....you're all set, correct?
Thank so much. You have me wanting to create blankets for my great-grandkids (and my grandkids aren't even old enough to marry yet!) I am chronically ill and want the grands & my children to have some heirlooms to keep.

Yes.. That first row can be tricky.. Just in case…I usually add a few extra chains…

I would have like to see multiple rows in the video not just the first as if mistakes are made in counting and placement of the stitches I am finding come later on
    I need videos! I’m such a visual learner!💜

When you skip two to make the valley. How do you do it without it leaving a hole? I can't figure out how to do it tightly.
