I have seen 100's of fires in my 66 years but have never seen so many different spots on a structure that were burning except where an accelerant was used. Please keep us updated when the fire marshal completes their investigation. Too many different spots on fire not to be arson.
Once again the BS 13/4 line for a serious fire, and NO pressure. You guys have seen the devil before, get your tactics together. Screwin around with fire in front yard and porch with extension on B side up to roof. Where are the supervisors??
Good job on the camera work. Trying to figure out or understand why so long before getting water on the fire? Vehicle burning in the driveway, and seems like they put most of the house out just to watch it start up again and again!
I'm far from an expert, but there seems to be a lack of urgency and why would they leave the car adjacent to another house burning for as long as they did?
If the object was to stand around while the fire burned itself out, then they did an outstanding job. Maybe the worst example of how to put out a structure fire i've seen yet.
I can't believe there are people inside that building as its falling down all around them and nobody seems to be tending to the vehicle fire in the driveway with all those people standing around doing nothing....
As a retired Ff, watching this incident, it appears to be disjointed ie there does not appear to be a co-ordinated command structure in place. Yes it was an awkward fire but with a better command, it could have been tackled a lot better.
@johnbednarcik9359 there was alot more going on not seen from my vantage point for the majority of the beginning first few minutes. Companies were arriving on the side street as well and were making access through a neighboring backyard and into the rear of the structure for the successful rescue of victims.
I'm confused, I can understand only using small lines when there was no water attached, but why not deck gun etc 5 minutes after they have a main line attached and providing water ?
Then somebody should be giving them orders ! At any given time there were groups of at least 5 men standing doing nothing . Exposures ? What exposures ? What vehicle burning , couldn't whoever was in charge of the scene have some of those extra men at least put out the vehicle fire , before the fuel tank ruptures and fire speeds to the house next door ! What don't they want to get their hoses dirty ?
I believe that came about as a very spontaneous comment from him one day and it just stuck. It's not a complete video unless we all know 'where da rac at' 😅
I understand there were victims and great job on the rescues. The car in the driveway was left to burn WAY too long. They had the manpower there to put a knock on that. 1 FF - 1 line then delta exposure protection. Instead they allowed it to add to the fire load. Frustrating to watch.
@Cairns-880 a deck gun not used as soon as water available. Firefighters with no direction. Too many chiefs. Building falling down with guys inside. Risking lives for a building that couldn't be saved. No established water supply to ladder and I could go on and on.
I think I only saw one interior guy actually on air. Why carry an SCBA if you're not gonna use it. Did anyone bother to put that car on the AD corner out or did it just burn itself out? Guys coming in out the front door with overhead porch actively burning through. One guy missed getting hit in the head by flaming debris by a step or 2. Then the porch collapsed. There goes your egress. Supplied what appears to be a non functioning tower.
@@georgiadavis8600 Thanks for playing the role of Armchair quarterback. Why not use the deck gun or ladder pipe? Well, gee I don’t know.. how about MULTIPLE reports of entrapment?? Lot of equipment; not a lot of water. Perhaps the manpower was taken up with the searches. Lotta operators standing around, however. Seems more of the duplex survived than I would have guessed.

I hear you ,retired FF here , a 100+ year old. Balloon framing & yeah send a crew inside… but to afraid to surround and drown ,from the rip . Kind of bassakwards… just my own opinion…
Come on , 100+ year old ballon construction & they trust putting FF in it ,while everyone watches it burn ???? Wow . Needs to be an investigation with command over this. This is embarrassing.. sorry , but come On 🤦
So a car is on fire and a house that is no where near the car. That contractor must have really pissed someone off. Now its not only arson, but attempted homicide x5.

Wow! What an embarrassment! Is this a full time department? Even if it’s volunteer, shame on the command staff in charge of this call. You stopped fighting the fire, why? To let it get going again so everyone else could play! Disgusting!
Minute 36:44. So you're saying that interior guy still needs to told to be on air? I'm voly too and I know that if I'm interior, I'm on air. If I'm in that tower ladder in smoke conditions, I'm on air.

My thoughts as well. Certainly smells like arson.
👍
What also adds to the suspicion: this home had a political campaign sign set ablaze in the front yard just one month prior to this.
Sorry , THANKS RON for another dedicated response and a movie for us .
Great video as always Ron. Thank You to all the Firefighters.
Thank you so much Ron keep up the great work Eddie
Thank you for you feedback it is much appreciated
Why would u leave the car burning in the driveway
It's getting a makeover called crusty charcoal grey 😅

fireman, "Captain, shouldn't we start spraying this fire down to put it out?" Captain, "Why? it hasn't burned to the ground yet."
Exactly my thoughts. Where’s the urgency at ?? . Is this a Tuesday night Training session ???
If Sta 11, Sta 14 ,was on scene , this point the fire on exterior would be down to a minimal level…. WOW 😢
From the moment the video started they were putting water on the fire

the way they stood around watching it burn you'd think they would hand out marshmellows to toast.
They are not allowed to just freelance because people would get hurt if you the have to many people in the way plus the they rotate them out

How long does it take to set up the ladder or tower the driver shouldnt be pulling hose get the trk set up

What a comedy of errors. Do these fire companies watch themselves in these videos? If so, they need to see what I see.
So what do you see that was an error?
