@newsworking there are other siding materials like aluminum and hardy board. Those don't melt at low temps like vinyl but they cost more and are more maintenance intensive. On the other hand vinyl is horrible against wind, which you get lots of in the northeast. In general, modern construction methods are horrible!
A lot of departments (some still do) fell for a gimmick that the Tan/Brown colored gear was superior to any other type because of the material it was constructed with. By doing extensive research before purchasing departments would find that is not always the case. But as already mentioned, most comes down to department preference.

Didn't think they would save that one. Lot of damage but it was a nice stop.

Glad you liked it!
Great video billy
@@nayanpanchal39 thanks!
The damage to the B1 exposure is a perfect example of why vinyl siding should not be used
@@jmWhyMe I agree. Other than using brick, what else could you use? I’d prefer brick but most can’t afford that. Hence the vinyl.

What's the scoop on the air horn?
Normally that would indicate "evacuate" the structure....
Yes. They evacuated the building for a short time.
Can anybody tell me the difference between the black and brown bunker gear please. I have wondered this for a while. Great video!
no there no difference. Its about department preference. Most FD have black gear.

faster than most PA fires I've watched here on YT
I'm going to be a Firefighter put out fires, rescue people and wear heavy bunker gear
