Sweet ride my man...some gorgeous greasy landings as well, good idea sneaking a few touch n go's in while the gettins good.
I am a huge av geek and being from Rochester, I wanted to see a TBM in action after the loss of the TBM with Stephen Barnes last week.
I know the exact spot it happened, its about 50 mins away from here. Anyway, that Socata is quite the airplane, not to be taken for granted for sure. Have fun and soft landings to ya!!! Cheers.

@@onetaco772 Is it true TBM engine has so much power & torque (for it's size) that it needs a lot of rudder input on takeoff.......compared to PC12

Hi, I'm on a very similar journey as yours, got my PPL and IFR in my C182T with Nxi so that it would match the TBM's. Now I'm about to get the TBM. In the last video, you say I'm going to keep a few kts extra for the wind. Everything I read says not to add any speed, even for gust (sort of the opposite of what we are trained to do in trainers). Has your view changed on this since your first solo 3 years ago? Love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing them

Pretty relaxed for your first solo in CA.

As a turbine aircraft do you use a 1500 AGL pattern altitude?

Yes, usually. Although it depends on the situation, and I don’t mind using 1000 if it is an airport I’m familiar with.
