So glad you liked the beer, Peter! Such a great pleasure to meet you and I’ve definitely fallen in love with M/V Poem and totally understand why you have arranged the two comfy couches in the front where the helm is. Sitting so comfortably with the windows propped open, gazing out while casually steering the boat with one hand. Brilliant. You’ve certainly proved that even a small 28 foot boat can feel so much bigger. Hope you were able to download the hi-res photos I took of you and M/V Poem that I sent. Cheers!

Officer and A Gentleman filmed in Port Townsend.
It was based on and written for Pensacola, Florida. The US Navy have a huge base there.
But, DOD wanted script changes. The director said no. Port Townsend had a recent shuttered base which was given over to the state.

Ive been doing all different versions of electeic on my boats for around 6 years now. Im onto building a larger hybrid boat now because the larger boat will go offshore, and i prefer the redundancy and reliability. Safety is first. I see electric great for day sailing and coastal cruising. Hybrid for offshore.
