Thank you for the shout out Houston Jeepers 140 + jeeps no incidents no calls on our 600 + foot section of both sides of the beach , we are what Jeepers are about , have fun respect the laws and LEO’s we had a great time

We own a house on Crystal beach been coming to Jeep weekend for years and this year the crowd seemed different and definitely a lot more dangerous

I stopped attending this shit show years ago. We have a house on Galveston island and we just stay away this and lone star bike rally weekends.

Went to surfside and had a big crowd of jeeps there. I heard jeeps migrated there to get away from the crazies.
We’ve heard that too! We were thinking of heading that way next year
The crazies will follow, maybe stop advertising your get togethers so those of us who enjoy peace, quiet, and simply relaxing stop running out of places to retreat to when the previous spot gets taken over by the booze hound rowdy bunch.
Took the family to this. We parked our car way down where 87 turns into 124, and it was amazing. There wasn’t a crazy amount of people, it was nice and peaceful, we even stayed the night on the beach. The mosquitos were a nightmare but other than that it was an awesome weekend.
You can definitely either be in the middle of it or set up outside of the craziness
Saturday night was chaotic shit show.

So sad the pictures i seen of all the trash left behind

It was horrible. My Family and I had to clean up the cite where we chose to camp for the night.
The City of Crystal Beach should shut down the beach during this Jeep event. Only homeowners should have access and business could stay open.
They can’t as it is a public beach and not a private beach
Every time I want to retire, they keep polling back in.
