It's me again! (I already asked a question on your review on the Air model). The Comfort 1 is not being sold anymore, but I'm wondering wether you think it's better or worse than the Air model?

The Kid Comfort 1 is really a bare-bones model. It's a bit lighter than the Kid Comfort Air, which features some of the organizational features of the still heavier Comfort 2 and 3 models, which are probably also getting updated in the near future. Basically for an extra few ounces, the Air gives you more organization and a full mesh backpanel.
If lightweight is what you're looking for, we still have a few Kid Comfort 1's in stock: www.backcountryedge.com/deuter-kid-comfort-1-2014.html?.com&PfizvraeeRg?.com&PfizvraeeRg

Hello. Now it seems that the Kid Comfort series doesn't include 1,2 or 3. How the Kid Comfort 1 could be compared to the current ones? Is it similar to the basic "Kid Comfort"?

Hi there! The Kid Comfort 1 would likely correlate most closely to the Kid Comfort Active, while the 2 would be most similar to the Kid Comfort, and the 3 to the Pro, though there were some changes to the stylings.
